The classes seem excellent. pickleball game here looks legit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Locker rooms are secure, fully stocked with toiletries and about as clean as you could expect. And, yes bros, older guys with no modesty walking around are here as well. The prices aren't that bad, but I did come from CA where a gym membership to a higher end club usually costs a small mortgage, a 10% ownership stake in your soul and your firstborn child. Here's the two downers for me that keep the club from being 5 star. 1) They have a dedicated work area for members. Super useful because a lot of us are coming during work hours or commute a long way to get here. However, the work area/club lounge legit sounds like a club. The lounge is also right along the hallway so there's a lot of gym bros congratulating each other on hitting the PB or ladies walking by who are totes excited about hearing Fate of Ophelia during HIT class. I get it. I'm a Swifty as well and I'm the first to admit that Taylor slays. But I ain't yelling it down the hall. Midtown has a work area/lounge and they commit to it. If you're going to add a space like this, commit. Do it right. 2) Y'all need to up the cafe game or I'll call John Taffer and Gordon Ramsay. Soggy tortilla on a wrap is sacrilege. Where's the two Italian dudes yelling "not approved" when I need them. I know I'm nitpicking. Maybe I'm unfair. After all, it is a gym. But if you're positioning yourself as not just a fitness club but an experience, commit to it. don't half a$% something. Whole a$% it.

I won't really miss Lifetime being that it's annoyingly loud in the club and crowded much of the time, but the new hours for Silver sneakers members is the last straw.

If your primary interest is basketball, don't bother considering Life Time Fitness as an option…read more This location, and most others, has sacrificed half of the original basketball court space for pickleball. Due to the limited space, you'll regularly end up shooting around with 3 to 5 people on a single hoop. If you do luck into a time when the court isn't overcrowded, you'll have to endure 2 incredibly annoying sounds ad nauseam: the percussive sound of a pickleball being hit every 3 seconds (cuts through noise canceling), and boomer pickleball players screaming after every volley with the intensity of having just witnessed a walk-off grand slam in a World Series game. The final straw was being told to leave the basketball court due to it being reserved as spectator space for pickleball (see photos). Life Time is no longer a viable place for basketball. Like a casino, the current focus is on extracting as much revenue as possible from a demographic that has little time left. Hopefully, the trend fades away in unison with its primary demographic.

You go in the morning, it's quiet and relaxing and you don't have to worry about the loud gym goers that may a bit of noise that disrupts you. You have a calmer crowd that goes in the morning. It's got its own quirks such as when there isn't soap in the soap dispenser in the regular hand sinks or in the shower, or paper towels in the paper towel dispensers. But you know what? You make it work, and with the facility and the equipment it has, it is well equipped for you to make your health your priority. Mornings are relaxing and quiet, but if you need the gym goers to be there to motivate you, 3 to 4pm and later is your shot. However when you do go to work out in the evening, you will be fighting for equipment as well as for space on the cardio machines. If you look up on google for the timing, you'll be able to see whether or not it's going to be a good time to go to get your fit in. Keep putting in that work LA Fit Go get it

I originally signed a prepaid contract with Xsport but LA Fitness bought the business so now they are not fulfilling their end of the paid membership contract. I paid extra for tanning (no longer exists) and had extra months bonus from referring a customer. I have emailed corporate with zero response, been calling facilities with no solution and now they seem to not pick up the phone when I call in a row to find the real person that can provide any kind of a response.

The overall energy and atmosphere is what keeps me going! Bonus for this location: there's a protein smoothie bar next door!! The only con with this specific location are the layout of the lobby and bathrooms being funky and I think the speakers in the studio need updating or better placement. Otherwise staff and management is AMAZING!!

Let me start by saying that it surpassed all my expectations. I finally decided to give it a shot and step outside my comfort zone. I came to class on Sunday January 5th. Thinking it wasn't worth it but giving the benefit of the doubt to my fiancé. You know the saying happy wife happy life . Well it was more than I expected and could handle. Sunday's class was intense full but worth every minute. After meeting up with the coach and trainer Christian. The way he explained the training and the way the machines worked. Made me realize that I haven't really been working out the right way. Christian was very detailed in how everything works. He met with me before class and after class to give me feedback on how I was working out. Ultimately he is one of the reasons I signed up. My fiancé is the other reason. Lauren and Amanda at the front desk where also very welcoming, explaining the do's and don'ts of each set of workouts. I told Lauren my limits as I thought and she made sure she passed the info to Christian. The team definitely communicates very well, because I felt comfortable to give it my best shot. Wednesday was my second class, I won't lie I was tested beyond my limits. It was a tough class directed by Christian once again. He had us work out every part of the body that it's Friday and I can feel the burn. But it means it's working. As tired and sore that I may feel, I am looking forward to reaching my goals here. They offer three different packages ranging from $69 for 4 classes a month to $109 for 8 classes a month to $159 for unlimited classes a month. I'm starting off with the lowest. As soon as I gain the strength and balance I know I'll be doing the unlimited. Some people may think the prices are high but I'm telling you it's worth every penny. So if any of my fellow yelpers haven't tried this class I urge you all to try it out. After all the first class is always free. P.S I hope you all have a great day and CYOY.

First and foremost, membership is pricey. It's the most I've ever spent on a gym membership. But I…read morelike to break down the price into what I'm getting. I joined a whatever gym months back and liked the fact that it was super affordable. I was paying $20 monthly at that time. I showed up for weeks straight, but I found myself constantly just going on the treadmill. There was no direction. I didn't know what else to do. I tried different machines, I tried free weights. But I just never knew if what I was doing was enough or even right. I'm not surprised that I started getting bored and stopped showing up. But my new found love for my own health was still strong so I had to find an alternative. LadyStrong Fitness was advertised on my Facebook and that's how I first found out about them. I did ask for membership information right away, but they definitely try to get you to come in for a free week first before talking about pricing. That's ok, they want to prove they are worth it. I actually appreciated the free week because I would never have signed up without it. I needed to experience the classes first hand. My favorite part about LadyStrong is there is always a personal trainer teaching a group no larger than 20 girls. I've never seen it hit 20 since I've signed up. They are really good at keeping their class sizes small. Classes are always different and they never focus on one body part. There are no leg days, no ab days, etc. Its always a full body workout with a little strength and a little cardio. The best part? Someone is standing there telling me what to do. I've learned very quickly I'm not good in a gym environment without direction. I get bored easily. If someone is standing there, showing me what to do and how long to do it for, I'm going to do it, like it, and want to come back. Now, there are many people out there that do just fine on their own in regular gyms. Cool, this place is probably not your style. But if you're like me, you're going to love LadyStrong. Your membership includes unlimited classes per month. So it's up to you whether you go once a week, or 6 times a week. They have a convenient app that allows you to schedule your preferred class time. You're scheduled and committed to go, that makes me show up each time. No backing out when you have an "appointment". The community alone is also a huge perk. I love that it's women only. I never had a problem working out with men, but having just the ladies who are mostly all in the same boat as you, struggling and fighting with you, it's just more relatable. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Their motivation makes my motivation sky rocket. So although I like to start with yes, it's pricey, I have to say it's worth every penny for me. I would highly recommend at least trying the free week and making your own decision. But with the results I have seen and felt, I can't imagine ever going back to that $20 a month gym.

I had been looking for a place that offered a variety of class times everyday instead of just a couple times a week like other gyms I've had memberships at. They offer much needed accountability through different events, special monthly challenges and private group interactions. Thanks to LadyStrong Fitness I now have great fitness and nutrition tools to carry with me forever! :)
