Did I just tell someone to f - off…read more Unorthodox scheduling practices! Receptionist talks at you not to you! I have never in my life just told someone to F off like I did today! Literally F off (maybe all the way off) The receptionist lacks tact! And will talk to you like you are a child who just danced on her last nerve after a long day at a job she hates. So they tell you what day your next appointment should be on they tell you the time when the confirm your apt IF they do. Your reminder text will come about 2 hours before your appointment if you get one! This is new and I am not sure what has changed. I was treated like I do not nor want to pay my bill! Ummm it's migraine treatment it will be paid! I have talked to someone about my bill because I am sure in October I have met my copay and deductibles no call back even with my LARGE balance of 184.00 which is 2 no show fees. Which only one is a legit fee. I been going there for a long time ultimately leaving because of the receptionist but to be honest I have been debating changing due to distance. however the receptionist is the determining factor. I just hate dealing with them now! One time they completely forgot to order the medication however took my co pay which the did make right and waved the next one! One time I sat in the room for over an hour and not one person in waiting room when I came in and when I left without being seen! When they called me they slipped up said I was waiting on dr to arrive! They were frustrated I just left! Which I then explained I was on my lunch break and have up to 2 hours. Reschedule appointment and was never logged! Then today I tried to explain I only feel like I owe one fee! Was cut off did not want to be talked to about it told me I am going to collects and when I said I am not coming back! I was expecting a response along lines of I am sorry to hear that what can we do? Not you still have to pay your bill! And that when I actually told someone to F off I am an adult! So I am not even sure if they know they have system issues! I find myself asking can I be charged no show fee if I don't actually schedule an appointment? The office staff are highly professional and go beyond the standards of normal job performance. My care has always been the best possible. Coming from years of bad doctors, Dr. Obregon and his staff are a refreshing experience of how doctors and your health care should be treated. My only complaint would be I am treated so good that for the first time since my 20s and now in my 50s, my health has improved greatly. Having a doctor that put that much effort into one patient can only show how much care he puts in every patient.

Shoot I forgot his name) got my dad all set up on the device and Joe stayed with my dad for the duration of the trial, offering him support, observing his movements, and answering my dad's many questions. My dad LOVED the experience. He was able to walk PAIN-FREE without worrying about losing his balance, for a full 20 minutes. He was thrilled. We can't wait to return for twice weekly sessions on the Alter-G!! Thank you Joe and the whole PT Advantage team. We had a great experience. Dr. Watkins came highly recommended but my experience with him was the complete opposite. During my visit, he completely ignored and did not discuss the findings of the MRI disc and X-rays that I provided him, but took his own X-rays of the non injury foot too. I can only conclude to get more money from my insurance. HE DIDN'T TREAT MY INJURED FOOT but wrote in his notes that there was no visible fracture, and then gave me a piece of paper to order orthotics off Amazon. Being confused, disappointed and upset, I got a third opinion from a DPM, and she reviewed all of the X-rays, MRI, and the notes from the first DPM (fracture) and Dr. Watkins, and her findings was that I DID HAVE AN OBVIOUS VISIBLE FRACTURE. She immediately treated my injured foot without taking her own X-rays, and gave me an compression sock, took out the soles from my shoe and replaced them with the orthotics from Amazon for a temporary use. On the same day, she took an impression of my injured foot for custom orthotics because it was too late to perform surgery. MY CONCLUSION IS THIS, IT APPEARED TO ME, THAT DR. WATKINS SAW THE COLOR OF MY SKIN AND DECIDED TO GIVE ME IMPLICIT TREATMENT.

The PT didn't understand that the previous PT had worked through exercises in the past and found I was so tight that I would compensate. I began to have burning nerve pain during my session with the student who I'm not sure even communicated that with my PT. Physical Therapy was causing me extreme pain and I kept hearing about how Medicare wouldn't pay to treat the pain they caused. I am 100% worse now after going to therapy. Their therapy was too aggressive for my debilitated state. I'm having issues getting calls back and getting my records. The PT seemed to work with every other patient and would hand me off to the student. This was not a good experience and my knee is now swollen and I can't bend it or extend it, which was not a problem when I went in for these appointments. Corporate does not return calls as well. I do not recommend IV physical therapy. I'm really disappointed Tyson. I even got rides to a location further away to have this outcome.

Probably bc he's dealing with all kinds of cray cray on a daily basis. The real reason I give Dr. Rooney five stars is because of the wonders that occurred while under his care. Although I only saw Dr. Rooney a handful of times, the treatment we did worked wonders. I suffered a head trauma resulting from some major wrong place, wrong time sh*t going down while I was out one night and it rendered me with severe social anxiety. When Dr. Rooney first suggested that I had PTSD, I thought HE was crazy. I figured the disorder was reserved for people that had suffered immensely such as abuse victims or soldiers. He explained that trauma affects everyone differently, and that I shouldn't downplay the way in which my trauma was affecting me. I agreed to do some treatment where you talk about the trauma, Dr. Rooney leads you through it, and at the same time you hold onto some type of vibrating device that does something weird to trick your brain. I thought this way total psycho babble BS despite the fact that I've taken several college courses on the subject of psychology but I figured it was worth a shot. I'm so glad I was open to the process because it really did help a lot. Over a few visits, I felt more calm physically when processing the situation. I'd definitely recommend seeing Dr. Rooney to anyone that's had a traumatic occurrence that continues to affect you in some way.

The doctors here also work out of the Advocate clinics near Mercy Hospital and Rush Copley Hospital. I have Dr Goel as my cardio vascular surgeon and highly recommend him. He is thorough and does great work. He cares for his patients. The nurses, techs and staff are also exceptional. If you have cardio vascular iasues, this is the place to go.

My regular OBGYN left this summer and I have now seen Dr. Patel twice and she is so kind and understanding and really honestly listens to me. I ask questions and I have never felt rushed or uncomfortable. She also really takes the time to explain things and also save me money by sending me to a different pharmacy than I was using. I have always been lucky to have very kind and sweet nurses as well. Everyone is so caring and sincere. I do like the quick and ease of the North Aurora location, not just since I live close to it but it never seems crowed or busy like the St Charles location and for some reason I think it is cleaner also. It is a no frills office with a waiting room on the plain side. I have never had any problems making a appointment and with my annual visit I was early and so was the doctor! I do have to say I only have been familiar with the OBGYN side, and I have no knowledge of the child care side of the practice.
