The best is when I checked with my insurance company they said they never recd a bill and they never denied coverage. Over this time they have been very rude to both my husband and myself. They don't return calls and they have even sent it to collections. Stay away from this place unless you are looking for a fight!

I had an appointment with Dr. Chala to look at knee pain I've been having for 6 weeks. He did a thorough exam, and ordered an MRI which I got done within 45 min just down the hall. Then I saw him right after the MRI to diagnose the problem and he proceeded to order a cortisone shot and physical therapy. I got the shot before I left the office. Now on my way to feeling much better in a quality and highly effective visit today.

When Hennessy showed up, he seemed to immediately assume I was interested in total knee replacement, a propos of nothing except possibly $$, and when I told him I preferred conservative treatment and had good success with PT and was there for assessment, he seemed to lose interest. He ran down the short list of treatments -- cortisone injection, the newer platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections -- and when I leaned toward the former, he left the exam room and his PA took over. Didn't get an MRI even though it was on the referral form. His PA was a pro and made up for his cursory 5-minute "evaluation" by being thorough and caring. Got the cortisone shot which has helped even if it's a temporary measure. Visit did no harm, but I'm going somewhere else next time.

I showed up on time, and two patients were in the waiting room with me and informed me that this place has "terrible service". Upon waiting for about 5 minutes, Derrick Brown PA came out and informed us that their X-ray machine was out, and he couldn't service us properly. I was literally only there for an x-ray so I decided to leave. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said "no". I only chose this place because it had weekend appointments. I was terribly disappointed with the lack of service.

Hover Chiropractic was first on the list of…read morerecommended care in my area, and it wasn't until after the treatment was completed that I found out Josh personally still has a contract with United Healthcare, but the office he works through (WholeHealth Chicago) does not. After a whopping $125 adjustment + "diagnosis," (conjecture) I found they weren't going to be able to run this charge through my health insurance. After having to pay out of pocket, I called the insurance company who they said they still had an active contract with Josh. I started going back and forth over email where they explained that there was no possible way to run the payment through Josh's contract, and so kindly recommended that I involve a third party service that, "could, potentially, cover out of network claims. But, they also might not." In frustration I said sarcastically, "it's nice to know your company cares," and left it at that. Shortly after, I received a call from Josh who said he saw the emails and offered me a free adjustment. As kind as that was, I don't know what happened in that free adjustment, but I ended up feeling so much worse for the next few days. I'm a bit more familiar with the healing process of back pain by now, and it's not beyond me that sometimes you can be in pain from the adjustment for a few days after, but this felt different. He offered to put me on a regiment of, "$60 per visit, probably a couple times a week? That's when we can really start the actual healing process, does that work for you? Okay good, that is as low as I could possibly make it." Instead, I went to a different chiropractor out of pocket, for a fraction of the price I previously paid, and got immediate/lasting results. There's something to be said about the care I received having an impact of the efficacy of the next chiropractor's work, but in my experience I've often left adjustments feeling generally better than before I came in. Following the two adjustments I received over the span of a week and a half, I can't say I ever really got that feeling. Overall, I would not recommend the treatment I received, and especially not for the price at which I received it.

The doctor I saw seemed to be running a race she spent less that 15 minutes with me at all appointments and seemed to be on autopilot just trying to get me in and out as fast as was humanly possible. When I went to call the office to address some side effect from a haphazardly rushed procedure I went in for I was told I was not in their system as a patient which blew my mind as I had made multiple appointments with them before but when it came down to a problem they caused I did not exist??!! I was given the run around by employees that did not want to give me the time of day because according to their "system" I was just a crazy lady calling the wrong place. Well after some deductive reasoning and a few call backs I came to the conclusion they had my information wrong in the system and I was able to eventually be directed to someone that cared enough to check for me! And I was right! They had my information all messed up but were able to correct it all for me. So 5 hours after my initial call I finally have someone call me back to address the post procedure issue I was having and all I get is OH THATS JUST A SIDE EFFECT SORRY WE DID NOT MENTION TO YOU BEFORE THAT YOU WOULD BE PHYSICALLY DEBILITATED BEFORE WE DID THAT, OOPS SORRY GOOD LUCK LIVING LIFE WITHOUT YOUR RIGHT ARM!
