Loved it in here! Been in the Providence area for the weekend and I'd been sensing the overall vintage vibe so we decided to stop by here. Both of my sisters found something and they even had a little seating area. The staff were great and super helpful to find what we were looking for. A plus that they had disinfecting wipes and some hand sanitizer for entrance!

I would give Top Shelf 100 stars if I could! A very apt name for a vintage store that harkens back to classic NYC shops of the late 80s and 90s (I spent time there as a kid, and my wife lived there for a few years during that time). It's kind of hard to find a starting point here, as everything about this place rules. Let's start with the setup and presentation, then: honestly, the store looks like visual artists and visual merchandisers teamed up to make the best possible layout. The places just drips with great taste. Like I said, it feels and looks like NYC (think Canal St years back ...). Neon Nike signs, Haring-esque cutout decals on the windows, etc. Let's go with the owners and operators next: the guy who helped us, I believe his name is Doug, was one of the genuinely nicest people I've met. Very authentic person with tons of knowledge about clothing and art. He made us feel very welcome and like we already knew him. Now, let's move to the stock and prices! I have no idea where they find the stuff they do, but it's absolutely amazing. The prices are very fair, too. See my photo below to get a look at the awesome regional Coke shirt my wife scored!!! We are absolutely over the moon that this place exists, and even more so that it's in Pawtucket! It's a great representation of the budding arts community here, a community set to explode very soon, I think! So, in closing, go to Top Shelf Vintage! To paraphrase Tennessee Williams: If there's a better vintage store out there, I am sure I do not know what it is ....

Best selection of curated vintage workwear I've seen in RI or otherwise. Cannot recommend enough.
