(See pictures) I have been reaching out to him for over 3 weeks and he will not repy anymore. He initially answered, however as soon as I informed him of the problem and asked him to fix it, he stopped replying. On installaion day his crew showed up 2 hours late to begin with, and then disappeared in the middle of the day for several hours without communicating anything wth me. They finally showed back up and had to rush the installaion and did a poor job. Now that Ive asked him to fix it, he is ingnoring me. Once he has your money he will disappear. He obviously does not stand by his work. Seriously, read the way he responds to other customers bad reviews and youll see the way he runs his business with poor character and lack of integrity. We went through Home Depot for this project, and this company was the contracted installer. I do want to acknowledge that Denning was kind, professional, and came to our residence multiple times. He was genuinely the one positive part of this experience. The problems began during the installation. I had a drain I purchased from Home Depot based on the recommendations of one of the crew members tall Russian gentleman (never got his name that's on me for not asking) who genuinely wanted to help. I placed it in the ground so they could place base over it and turf over it because he was concerned the area may flood. Chris became annoyed over time because the tall Russian gentleman on his crew was looking out for us and he did not like it. Chris wanted to cut corners and get out quick. After my wife pointed out that several tiles were visibly crooked and that one tile had been completely missed, contractor Chris became visibly angry. Rather than simply addressing the concerns, as soon as we went inside began shaking his head, raising his voice, and loudly complaining about us to the other workers while outside our home. We could hear what was being said from inside the property. We have multiple reels of footage of him speaking negatively about us to his coworker. He started yelling at his coworker you want to do this for them and then that now and so forth. One of them took a #2 in our toilet flooded it and didn't have the decency to either fix it or speak up about it and I had to plunge it myself. Mind you I was nice to these guys bought them pizza and drinks. Just to be treated like my concerns didn't actually matter because they were in a rush. They reported the truck broke down day one and that's why we started a day late. So their truck issue which starting the job late resulted in Chris wanting to rush and push my concerns aside. Because their scheduled timeline now shifted. Instead of taking responsibility for the installation issues, we were made to feel as though the mistakes were somehow our fault. I do not believe a homeowner who paid such a ticket price should be blamed for pointing out crooked work or a tile that was never installed. Chris' behavior became disrespectful enough that we ultimately stopped the project and asked the crew to leave. My wife and I later reviewed our security footage and were even more uncomfortable with the attitude and demeanor displayed toward us. At that point, we requested that Chris not return to our property and asked for a different crew to complete the project. What made the situation worse was the customer service afterward. On 8/22/26, a woman (did not catch her name either) called me supposedly to "understand the situation." Instead of listening to what happened, or first asking me what happened she began the conversation by berating me about what I supposedly should have done differently during the installation. Conversation legit went like this "you should have told them earlier you should have fixed this before turf went on." Excuse me? How about you train your guys to verify with the homeowner before putting the turf on? How about you train your guys and properly vet your people ? Wow what an awful experience this has been. I hired professional installers because I should not have to stand outside supervising every tile, catching missing pieces, or managing the behavior of grown professionals. If something is installed incorrectly, I expect the company to address it, not blame the customer for noticing it. We spent a significant amount of money on this project and expected basic professionalism, quality workmanship, and respect while people were working at our home. At this point, I still have not spoken directly with a manager regarding what happened. I hope Home Depot and the installation company take this situation seriously, because no customer should be treated this way for simply asking that the work they paid for be completed correctly. If this project is not corrected as originally agreed and completed to our satisfaction, we will also be escalating our experience directly to Home Depot. This company is representing Home Depot as one of its preferred contractors, and I am certain Home Depot would want to know how its customers are being treated. When Home Depot refers and contracts with a company to perform work in a customer's home, that contractor's workmanship and professionalism ultimately reflect on Home Depot's reputation as well.

After having some very bad experiences with contractors during our home remodel, I became extremely cautious about hiring anyone, practically ptsd. Finding someone honest, knowledgeable, and dependable is not easy. From the very first meeting with Sep, I knew I was dealing with someone who actually does this for a living and takes pride in his work. Sep speaks clear English (important very important, native speaker, believe me), took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions patiently, and made thoughtful suggestions that I hadn't even considered (like leaving the border for example, I wanted to leave but he suggested to remove). At no point did I feel pressured. Instead, I felt educated and confident in the decisions we were making. By the end of our first meeting, I trusted him completely. He even suggested to get more quotes but I did not feel a need to. He absolutely impressed me. He is very PERSONAL and has extremely well disposition. He brought samples the fist estimate meeting! Helped me narrow it down, asked questions I even did not think about. I had tree guys giving me estimates but my daughter after meeting Sep said "no no no comparison Mom, he is the guy, the unicorn tells me he is the guy" During the process the crew encountered the problem that stump from the dead tree was not removed even though I paid the other company to remove it! It was not done! Sep immediately reacted found a company, called them and they came within 2 hours to remove the huge dead stump. Sep's crew did amazing work, hauled everything away, cleaned up the entire area, and then transformed our backyard with beautiful artificial turf. The amount of work they completed was incredible. During the project I was honestly nervous because the yard looked like a construction zone, but they knew exactly what they were doing. The finished result exceeded my expectations. Our backyard looks larger, cleaner, and so much more inviting. It completely transformed the space. What impressed me most was the professionalism, communication, and attention to detail from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard, kept me informed, and genuinely cared about the quality of the final result. I told Sep that I would like to do it asap, he understood and scheduled me immediately. I had contractors coming for quote and then disappearing, or even worse, starting the job and disappearing! So I cannot stress it enough that dealing with Sep was absolutely exceptional! Being absolutely new to remodeling process I noticed how contractors take advantage and I clearly see it when they do it, this is not the case with Sep. And I am very grateful for that! After everything we've been through with other contractors, I can honestly say I would never go to anyone else for landscaping or grass work. It is such a relief to finally find someone I can trust. I recommend him to all my friends and anyone needing artificial turf. Thank you for doing an amazing job! However, it is imperative that potential customers at least hear my experience; after all, that is the purpose of Yelp, to help customers find the right fit. I have had a horrible experience with this company.Let me start from the beginning so I do not seem overly hyperbolic.I met with Gary, who came over and provided a quote. He was great and, unfortunately, the only good part of my experience. The price itself was reasonable, in the middle of the quotes I had received. Okay so I signed the contract and was told the "project manager" would reach out to schedule. I did not hear from this person for weeks and the project was set to start on Monday July 7th, 2025. I was told the team was coming from Corona, which should have been a red flag that Turf Bros did not hire anyone local.July 7th comes around and the delivery person decides to leave all the material, including the turf, on the street.I call the project manager who tells me the team was at another location and would not be able to start until Tuesday July 8th, which is fine. On Tuesday July 8th, at around noon, while away from the house, I realized no one showed up! So I call the project manager who tells me the team had a "flat" and would show up at 12:30PM. No one shows up until about 2:30, and they work for one hour before leaving. A crew of two people!! show up. Funny because the contract said the project would be "3-5 days" but yet only two people showed up. I should have had even redder flags by this time, honestly. The contract misrepresented the amount of time it would take to finish the job and this was one of the reasons I picked this company. On July 9th, Wednesday, they work for a few more hours digging up the front yard and then leave.On July 11th, they come back but leave after a few hours. By this time, I'm fed up and call Gary, instead of the project manager, because the project manager always seemed too busy to talk and wanted to get me off the phone. Come to find out that, even though Gary initially said that the bubblers would be included, they did not put it in the contract and therefore they would charge more for it. I decided not to do that but rather to have my own contractor do the watering work instead. I am glad I did by the way because the PVC piping that the crew installed was not even dug deep enough (see photos). But it gets even better.They come back on Sunday July 13th; instead of removing the customary 3-4" of dirt (per the contract), the two man crew decides to place the weed barrier in the front, without cleaning up all the roots underneath or the uneven footing. They also decide to place the gopher mesh on the side even though I told them my contractor would come the next day to put the PVC pipes for the watering. On Monday July 14th, thank goodness my contractor came and saw the work, or else it could have gotten even worse. He noticed all the unequal footing, the lack of proper level grading, and leaving roots and holes in uneven areas. The pop up risers were not dug out properly, and the crew, when I called them, said this was normal operating procedure and that they would be putting the road base on top, even though they had not dug out the requisite 3-4 inches! My contractor said this did not sound right and indeed, there were too many dips in the weed barrier and it felt unsafe. Hence, I decided to cancel but it gets even worse. I told Gary as such and he suggested I email David, the owner of the company. David came by my house on Tuesday 7/15 and defended his company's work! He admitted that they should have excavated more dirt but essentially said everything else was okay! He was wrongly of the impression I wanted to continue with the project and offered to supervise it himself despite never having set foot at my home previously (and neither did the "project manager"). I told David I did not want a misunderstanding and that I wanted to cancel and have a refund of the initial "progress" payment. They took the payment despite not delivering all the materials, per the contract. Additionaly, the team capped the water valves without knowing where the water goes (they capped the valve which would provide water to the PVC piping they placed, which is obviously flawed). At the time, I admitted there was a "progress" payment made, and, later saw that the payment was contingent on them delivering the materials, but they had not. So they withdrew the money for the first "progress" payment despite not delivering all the materials as was indicated in the contract. During my subsequent emails with David, he continued making excuses and was trying to spin the verbiage of the contract, all the while stating he would not refund my money despite them taking the money without provision of requisite materials, per their own contract.
