I finally got the courage after 3-4 years to write down my experience with this absurd "company". In 2020 around the pandemic era we decided to purchase the puppy of our dreams we seen this establishment had cute yorkies so we ended up falling through and purchasing one. They said she just flew in from Korea she was abt 3 months old. I also want to mention how they gave me a little pamphlet for her information & "shots" the vet I took her to said that it looked like something fake off the black market. LOL so unprofessional. everything went fine once we took her home fast forward 3 months later (after updated shots and her being in total fine health "whatsoever") she sporadically passes away just 3 months after purchasing !! (Huhh how does that happen) I mean we were devastated, I get in contact with Tina the owner and she just happened to bring up the topic on how she'll give me another pup. Me being completely heartbroken & just wanting my own furry friend I agreed. Mind you, we had to travel all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada to Orange County, California for this new puppy. She didn't even want to tell me what kind of puppy it was at first or show pictures even when she knew we had to travel 5+ hours lmao. She just kept saying "its so cute, your gonna love, etc" I finally made her send pictures and it was a maltese puppy. We agreed and thats when our mission started. We get to the breeders home and it seemed like it was a home full of puppies.. I guess they were trying to sell a lot of them. Once we get our puppy we fell in love she really was the cutest thing & again after updated shots and fine health unfortunately the puppy passes away the same exact way after a few months later just like our previous one. This is so concerning and frustrating how after doing business with this lady twice I somehow get the same devastating outcome. These puppies are being exposed to something harmful and get sick under this TopDog environment. I'm honestly shocked that this place is still in business. My dog, Lola, is now 3.5 years old. She's still alive (thankfully) but she has a ton of issues including allergies (she's allergic to a variety of things including human dander), yeast infections, UTIs, bladder stones, etc. She has to be on a special diet. I have paid so much money into vet bills. These people are liars. She's not a proper maltipoo, as they stated. She's 50% terrier, hound, and "other", 12.5% mastiff, 12.5% maltese, 12.5% cocker spaniel, and 12.5% poodle. Obviously, we all love her very much and I would never dream of giving her away but these people need to be shut down because they are deceiving and and not proper breeders. We bought our sweet Abby from top dog and we could not be more thrilled. She is a 5lb, toy apricot poodle and we cannot imagine life before her. Tina was so patient, knowledgable and caring. She made herself available for all of our questions as new pet owners. The store is so beautiful and clean and we turned it into a short weekend trip to vegas! She was also super accommodating with reserving a time to come by even outside of normal business hours. She made sure we knew how to take care of her before we left and she didn't push us to buy any unnecessary things. We just purchased an adorable MalShi puppy from Top Dog LV., which we've named Baylee. We had an wonderful experience working with the owners, Tina & Paul, and their son, Kevin, to pick out just the right puppy for our family! We came from Mission Viejo, CA to pick up our new baby after seeing pictures and video of her online first and then speaking to the owners about her on the phone. Their shop was very clean and all the dogs looked healthy and happy. After having Baylee with us now for a few days, it is so clear she given excellent care of by these owners! She's so sweet, very healthy, and just overall an amazing puppy. Tina & Paul made sure she was newly bathed and groomed when we took her home and sent us with a bag of her dog food, her dog bed (which has def helped with the transition), pee pee pads, and even a lightweight carrier. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan with Baylee for 24 hours before flying her home today, so she could get to know us before having to fly with her in a carrier by our feet. She did fantastic and didn't cry once! She's already a trusting and confident little pup, which only comes from being treated with the utmost care early on. I went in to buy a puppy today for my daughter. I saw that the had a deal through Yelp for $100 off any dog. When I went to check out I was told that they wouldn't honor the discount. I spent a little over $4k and my dog came with parasites, canine virus, and pneumonia!!! I took my puppy to the vet less than a day after getting her and she almost died from the issues she came with. I have spent thousands on my dog's vet bills and they refused to reimburse me. Not only that, but the guy tells you that you should bring the dog back to him so he can take care of the dog himself and he is NOT A LICENSED VET. He confirmed that himself. Super shady and illegal. My dog would have died if I hadn't take it to get proper vet care. Save yourself heartache and money and get your dog somewhere else. Do not buy from!! Purchased a puppy in April that came very ill with parvo. After Informing them, they said they won't reimburse any vet bills and to take the dog back to kevin ("breeder") so he can care for her. He said he was familiar with caring for dogs with parvo... very concerning. After a few days of care, our puppy passed away. It was a very traumatic experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. Do not buy from Tina or kevin or any location. Dogs are imported and almost always ill. Horrible people!!!! Kevin runs his shop from his house and has his young kids apart of it. Btw it is illegal to run pet stores now and that's why he moved it to their home. They don't play with the dogs and keep them in tiny bins. Not gonna lie, I was very hesitant to purchase a dog from here looking at the reviews but my family decided to take a chance. It is exactly one month since we got our dog, Dasher. Just to note, I strictly avoided the mix breeds because that seemed to be ones that people had problems with being not the true breed as advertised (not just with this store but another store I was looking at too). My family decided to get a shih tzu and we are so happy with the little guy. We took him to the vet soon after and he is healthy and has no problems. We are waiting to get his second dose of vaccines (the vet wanted to restart his shots) but other than that, he is the sweetest and playful little guy and my family is so so so happy to have him. My dad doesn't like dogs or pets but he quickly changed his tune once we got Dasher haha. The overall process was quick and straightforward. Please please be careful!!! I got my puppy in mid September from here; when I went to Kevin's home, i did not see the parents or the other pups (I did not think to ask because I fell in love with my malchipoo BUT he should have asked me to look at the parents, living situation etc before taking him home). I'm not sure if the parents were even there because I'm pretty sure they don't get their puppies from the U.S. as they have MULTIPLE breeds available. Fast forward to bringing my pup home, poor pup had multiple complications from bloody stool, to parasites, inflamed lungs, frothy spit around mouth (which I sent a video to Kevin!) and pneumonia! I took him to the ER twice and the vet at least 10 times in the span of just a month and after proceeding with hospitalization for his pneumonia, puppy unfortunately did not make it. I told Kevin about this and he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted another puppy! He did refund me but it's not about the money, it's about my 3 month old puppy who did not make it! I've never been so heartbroken in my life. I know these puppies are adorable but trust me, it is not worth the heartbreak!!! This is a review on the Californian location of the topdog puppies: I am a first time puppy buyer - where will I get a puppy is a very important decision as this puppy will be with me for the next years to come. I called top dog puppies and the guy working there facetimed me to show me the dogs - he answered most questions; no enthusiasm, but at least he did, so it did not start of terribly. But when I started to ask if he sells a lot of dogs a year (just to get an understanding of what sort of business I am dealing with here), what conditions the dogs live in (it sounded like there was a lot of dogs around the man), and how many dogs does he currently have and if they socialize and live comfortably, the man got really offended, told me he is a businessman, he sells the dogs and I can go and take my questions somewhere else and hang up. Before trusting someone with a living thing and spending a couple of thousands on a dog, you want to get information and if something is not relevant, you expect the businessowner to let you know or patiently explain, especially that it was first time buying a dog! The abrupt reaction makes me think the dogs live in very poor conditions he did not want to share or that he just does not care.
