Their company left a 4' stump not returning to cut it down and grind up the stump.after being paid in full since I had the check filled out for the full amount. Contract read that it included stumping and that I had paid the $150 for the stumping. They refuse to answer other than that they claim they weren't paid - in spite of the check being cashed - and that I would have to pay extra. I am not the only one. News 6 in Columbus went after Lumber Jack when a viewer had the same problem, except he had not paid the $150. They would not go back and do the contracted stumping process. They did a good job on the tree they cut down until they left the 4' stump and did not complete the job. They also left a lot of dead limbs in some of the trees trimmed because they were doing the cutting after dark. Not a good job in all. Get a local reputable company, don't use Lumber Jack Tree Specialist. You will regret it, as I do. Incomplete work and false promises, then cover up the rip off. I'd go no stars if I could.

These guys were out at my house last Thursday... it was COLD... and they worked non-stop from 9:30…read moream - 9 pm. They are extremely nice & courteous! At one point my husband and I were outside giving them hot chocolate and we offered to give them their money right then. He said no, that he would get it when they're done. They completely removed two dead trees & ground up the stumps as well. We have two more trees that need to be removed, but since it's close to Christmas those will have to wait. I made sure that my husband got their contact information so that we could use them in the future. To say that I highly recommend this company is a complete understatement! As far as I'm concerned- we won't be looking any where else when it comes to this type of service!!!

Chris instead showed up with a promise to return the next day (*leaving me plenty of branches and a tree that he had only hours cut from somewhere). Chris stated he would return the next day to make us even. He never returned as he said he would, never called, never emailed. Be careful.
