Back in May, I woke up with severe tooth pain and called seven local offices to try to get an emergency appointment. In the midst of a pandemic, I knew my chances were small, but to my surprise Topsham Dental Arts called me back and got me in within hours. Michelle greeted me with compassion and kindness, and Dr. Polly assured me that she would take care of me. After the extraction and a follow up, I knew I needed to forge forward with taking care of my teeth. I signed up for their membership which has paid for itself five times over and have now been seen six or so times, getting my oral health back on track. I cannot express my gratitude for their concern for my well-being and their willingness to help. The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Please know, I detest going to the dentist. Always have and always will, I'm of that generation that what ever have decent teeth. How did I pick Topsham? I drive by it often and they're all pretty awful so I finally did it, got an appointment. Hey, not so bad. Good even, by hating the dentist standards I would say excellent. Wicked nice people, don't treat you different and are sympathetic to your issues. A membership plan for those without insurance that you actually come out ahead on and good dental care. I had a filling that started giving me issues. I was given a date that wasn't too far out. Once in, a review of previous xrays, check of the tooth having issue, & new xrays, it was determined that I don'y need a filling yet. Tooth chipped, use sensitive toothpaste for 1 week, call back w/ update. If no change, an appt for a filling will be made. But Dr. H thinks the toothpaste will work til my next cleaning appt (which has already beem set up for next month.) The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Been going to Topsham Dental Arts for many years. Never had a dental issue that they haven't tried to fix. read more

Even with an extensive vocabulary Im struggling to come up with enough good things to say about Doctor Nichols and this wonderful, Amazing practice. The kindest, most professional people and the name speaks truly to the incredible artistry and quality of the dentistry. I couldn't encourage anyone enough to get their care here. I love having Topsham Dental Arts for all my dental needs: cleanings, xrays, fillings, surgery and an implant. (When you are 66 years old things just need fixing.) At my age I've had a few dentists! They provide quality professional care with better prices than most. This is not a "come-in-for-a-cheap-cleaning-and-try-to-sell-you-other-expensive-services" Office. Very professional, personable, understanding, and caring. No judgements, lectures, or "old school head shaking". They do book up 6-8 weeks in advance & super easy to reschedule via text, email, or by phone. A pleasurable atmosphere and welcoming staff make you feel a bit "better" about bad dental habits. Even though I wasn't an established patient, TDA got me in immediately to deal with a broken tooth. Every other dentist I called said I'd have to wait until May, if not longer. TDA is friendly, accommodating, highly professional, and equipped with the latest technology. I chipped my tooth a few days ago, and the front desk got me right in for an appointment today. I didn't know if they would be able to help me in the short term, but I left 45 minutes later with a beautiful, perfect, looking tooth and smile! Best Dental group I've ever had the privilege of going to. I've met all the dentists and everyone is highly trained and professional. The hygienists are also top notch and I always feel comfortable in the chair. They are also not over priced which really helps in today's market.
