Dr. Anders and Dental Assistant Crystal were each attentive to my shifting needs while in the chair and worked very well in tandem to create the most positive and effective visit possible...under some pretty intense circumstances. (I can be a very anxious dental patient.) For me, it all boils down to human touch, attention to detail and sensitivity. It felt more like Dr Anders was painting rather than drilling. I was aware of Crystal's gentle touch...and one or the other gently using his/her/their pinky finger on my jaw to steady a hand and achieve precision. Unbeknownst to me, I have - literally - driven across the country to find the dental team with 'the right touch.' It's expensive, but you get what you pay for...and they accept CareCredit, which removed any anxiety from the 'how am I going to pay for this thing I need??' part of the equation. The front desk staff did everything they could to help me navigate to their office (without gps or cellphone). Thank you Erin, Jody, Colin, Susan. Have I left anyone out?

I talked through a very specific financial plan with them that accounted for when I was getting paid and how much I could do. I THOUGHT I was being taken care of. Didn't last one month before the strangeness started with billing -- telling me I didn't have to pay anything when I came in, then calling me on the phone the very next day, I pay it, they say I haven't. Then I go in for my next appointment to fix a temporary crown. I was late by LITERALLY 2 minutes due to their long line and they decided to take someone else instead of checking to see if I was waiting. They told me I could wait there for many hours OR come the next day. So I come back the next day and they refuse my service due to....you guessed it, the bill I was told I already covered with my first payment, then told I didn't pay, then I paid again, only to still somehow owe them money. Stay far away.

This location has constant turnover in staff, located in a crumbling building covered in dust from the highway. I go because I'm cheap and I know to decline everything they suggest to me.

The second visit she was given X-rays and we were given a "consultation" (not requested or expected) recommending switching to an Invisalign program. Obviously that didn't happen.. we were half way through an effective program based on the west coast. In short, we were billed $900 for two quick adjustments. I asked the office to reconsider their billing. They refused to adjust their billing so I paid it. Felt very disappointing. I'm SO glad I made this switch, love this office! Everyone here is so nice and super easy to talk to. There is a large parking lot, it is conveniently located in downtown Westbrook, and they have a very comfortable waiting area with couches and pleasing colors. I have had two visits so far, the first being a new patient visit, which was a tad longer than usual just because they needed to get films and such. The dental hygienist was SUPER nice, and we got along great, which eased my anxiety of visiting a new practice. The second visit was today. I needed to have some very minor dental work done (cavity, ugh, hate admitting that). It was honestly painless. They got started at 7:40 and I was in my car by 8:15. Dr. Cloutier is very thorough, friendly, and knows his stuff! Again, the hygienist was awesome, and I will venture to say that my visit was even borderline fun...if you can imagine that? Very impressed. Oh! They have perks too! FREE CHAPSTICK. Yes, read that again. I said free chapstick...a real lifesaver for me since I like to have (GOOD) chapsticks everywhere I can possibly have them so I can use one at any given moment.
