In response to the Doctors comment. Yes indeed you remember that we were in the waiting room. We were in the waiting room for over an hour. Then you had an emergency call at about 4:30 pm. THIS IS WHEN YOU RAN OFF AND IT IS NOT TRUE THAT YOU SAID WE SHOULD WAIT WHEN YOU RETURN. In fact, what you actually said was...You laughed and said "if you wait my staff won't be here anymore" Laboring patient is an emergency. And my grandma came in by emergency also, sat for over an hour waiting her turn. I will never forget how HORRIBLE this doctor treated my grandmother 3 years ago. She has since passed, and I am still traumatized with the lack of care and manners this man and his office has. I hope him and his wife get what they deserve. I will never forget the phone calls I received from Dr. Torbati's office -- not once, but twice. The first time was when I was struggling to conceive. We proceeded with an IUI despite the low chances, and by a miracle, I was pregnant. The second time came after an abrupt miscarriage. How does this guy have such high ratings? He's crotchety, old-fashioned, condescending, and doesn't listed for crap. I'm sure he's very knowledgeable, but it sort of doesn't matter if you can't access that past his personality and poor, poor, patriarchal listening skills. I think if I'd had him in the 1960s, I would've thought he was the bees knees! But in this day and age, it's not acceptable. I came here for years and all I kept feeling was pressured to have a baby. My reason seeing him was never about having kids it was just for my basic health and making sure I was healthy enough. After time I realized all his wife and him were only interested in people who came in constantly to make money. They will blow up your phone for twenty dollars. To the point of harassment. I had called him because I felt something was wrong he said I probably have a cold or Covid turns out I had an infection and had to be rushed to surgery. If I had listened to him I would have died but something told me no that's not it so I went and sure enough. I am very disappointed in how he has treated me over the last few years almost like he is not in it for moral reasons but now for pure money greed reasons. He also would push birth control or having kids those were my only options. At one point I had to tell him to stop asking me about kids I made it clear I did not want any. I will not return and I would not recommend this place anymore. Your wife really needs to get some training done on how to properly speak to patients. And maybe it's time for you to retire. I have read other reviews and agree with them. If you're looking for a doctor who only cares about you having kids and not listening to you and has a wife who oversteps and has no medial training by all means waste your time and money. read more

We stumbled across Dr Kamran as providence and ucla both let us down... I had a cyst that needed care straight away the above so called professionals didn't have any appointments or even get back to me!! After deciding I wasn't willing to experience there 3rd world care or tolerate there Starbucks service i searched and found Dr Kamran off the bat he's team at the front desk was amazing professional and most importantly caring!! I met with Dr Kamran he was very knowledgeable and re assured me about next steps had everything on site and got me in for a follow up and that was it!! Not only did facey at providence get my diagnosis wrong they couldn't even get me in to see a OBGYN whilst I was in serious pain very alarming!! I've been with Dr Torbati for a very long time and he delivered 3 of my kids . On all 3 deliveries I had an amazing experience. Dr Torbati spends time with his patients and answers all questions you have . He's not like some providers that just seen u and rush you out . Dr. Torbati is an incredible doctor who is such a great choice to guide you through your pregnancy and get your baby here safely. Dr.Torbati delivered my first baby and I am now pregnancy with #2 and he will be delivering him as well. I had a somewhat stressful experience with my first pregnancy - no problems with the pregnancy but the original OB I chose ended up being very pushy and unkind, trying to force to me to induce at 38 weeks for absolutely no reason. I was very educated on pregnancy and the process and we ended up not seeing eye to eye and I didn't feel comfortable with this woman delivering my baby and putting my life in her hands. I ended up switching doctors close to 40 weeks and I was SO HAPPY to find Dr.Torbati. He asked questions, got to know the situation and was very careful and measured in his suggestions. I was 2 weeks late with no signs of labor and we decided together that scheduling a c section the night before I reached 43 weeks was the best and safest option to get the baby here. He is a very experienced surgeon and my c section and recovery went flawlessly. I appreciated the relationship he had with the anesthesiologist and the nurses - there was a very positive and supportive vibe in the OR and they were an amazing team. His staff are very caring and friendly, they clearly really care about their patients. I highly , highly recommend him as an OB! read more

I am very glad I have Dr. Torbati as my OB. This past August, he delivered our baby via C-section. Dr. Torbati is professional, thorough and caring. As first time parents, we had a lot of questions and he was always patient with us, answering all our questions without ever making us feel rushed. He would even personally call back when we left a message with his office. He guided us through each stage of my pregnancy, giving us confidence in his care and preparing us well for our newborn. I love Dr.Torbati. He was my doctor for 3 of my pregnancies and delivered 3 healthy babies for me. His office sometimes has a wait but it never bothered me because he is dealing with babies that sometimes need to be delivered during the day or other emergencies. I don't think it's fair to knock him as a doctor for that. That is just part of going to an obgyn. He is knowledgeable, direct and to the point (exactly what I wanted in a doctor for me.) He has seen me whenever I had an emergency. He was always available via phone. Overall, I'm very happy with the care I received from him and recommend him to my friends and family. He has been my ob-gyn since 2007, and I​ still remember the day I​ found him through my insurance; That day I​ was desperate to see someone and it was 5 pm on a Friday, no other doctor wanted to see me as a new patient and so late in the day, yet he did; more than that, he waited for me, took his time to examine me and his kindness and expertise​ amazed me. Fast forward, 11 years later, he shows the same care, compassion, flexibility towards me! When it (rarely) happens to wait in the waiting room, I​ know its because he is giving​ the same excellent treatment to each of his patients! All other patients in the waiting room​ share my belief​ about the waiting (which is usually very little or none, the office staff do a great job scheduling appointment​s and never overlapping). He truly is one of a kind doctor! True story I​ heard from one of his staff nurses: he had 2 deliveries in one night​ and slept little to nothing​, yet he did not cancel his appointments the following day, and his answer was: "My patients plan and look forward to​ these appointments​, I​ won't​ disappoint​ them" WOW! Even if this was my third delivery, and I​ knew​ what​ to expect through the process - he never cut corners, but more importantly,​ he was such a calming force in the OR room, since I​ was nervous; The nurses and staff at Tarzana hospital respect him as a person and doctor and they were looking forward to performing​ a surgery under his lead.
