Strings of lights and cloth were draped across the ceiling, and colored lights were installed in the wall sconces, and fabrics were hung up to hide more unsightly, run-down areas of the event room. It probably took a *lot* of work, but they really made a difference to improve this somewhat less-than-mediocre place. If you plan on hosting an event here, make sure to hire a good decorator! All that being said, there's not many other options when you are in Waseca.

It was a very disappointing experience to sit at the bar and have her continually walking by to get one of the "townies" a drink while mine sat empty. Only once she had gotten everyone else what they wanted, every time, would I get a drink. Not planning on coming back... it's just not worth the irritation.
