The stylist assessed my hair and said that since I wasn't getting my hair lifted the Malibu treatment was unnecessary and immediately began coloring my hair. I wasn't super impressed by this as I wanted the Malibu and had already booked it. I have super hard water in my house and really wanted a good stripping to lay a good base for my color. I asked for a medium brown with some blonde melted into it from mid-shaft to ends. I got an almost black allover color with almost no dimension. I wanted almost a butterfly cut and I didn't receive that either. The cut was choppy and hasty. I really liked my stylist and wish she had really listened to what I wanted and taken more time to achieve the results I asked for. I'm not sure that I'll be back. Maybe with a different stylist because I felt comfortable in the salon and liked the camaraderie of the stylists and how they all chatted. The vibes were good. I'm on the fence about Fade.
