They work with the whole range of patient, from babies, to elderly people. I'm a patient of Martina Di Gioacchino, speech language pathologist. Over the course of 5 treatments she helped me tremendously. I initially came to Martina for the voice control and treatment. The nature of my job requires me to attend client's calls and sometimes conduct the presentations where I have to speak for 1 - 2 hours. I used to start loosing my voice after the first 30 minutes. After working with Martina I see a huge improvement. She taught me how to control my breath, posture and how to improve my voice projection. Another area I needed help with was an accent reduction. English is my second language, and Martina was the first professional who could identify the areas I need to work on right away and explain how to pronounce certain sounds correctly. I still need to remind myself to focus on those, but when I do I can pronounce them right. I know I won't get rid of my accent entirely, no do I strive for it, but it's nice to sound intelligently. It's been a very pleasant and productive experience and highly recommend this clinic

As if a shy little kid will talk to a stranger?? How can she assess her if she don't talk? She was very contradicting when she tells me that parent participation is encouraged on the phone, and telling me to SHUT up when I'm there? She was RUDE and making the experience unpleasant for the Parent, which are the ones that decide to pay for the service. Please reconsider another clinic if possible. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience.

Full disclosure I came for 3 or so appointments. My physiotherapist came to a similar conclusion about my injury as my family doctor had, which was a positive first sign. From there, I felt like I barely saw my physiotherapist and when I did, she seemed rushed. A half hour appointment would consist of having ultrasound and TENS machines used on my knee (TENS machine is you lying alone in a room with the TENS machine for 15 minutes), so I'd have human contact for literally 5 minutes out of the half hour I was there. It just didn't seem worth the money and most importantly, the time spent. Any physiotherapist can give you exercises to do, but it takes the right one to truly be invested in your care, spend the time with you and ensure you're making progress week after week. All in all I felt like this clinic relied way too much on the use of ultrasound and TENS machines (at least for my particular injury), and the lack of person-to-person care made me take my bum knee elsewhere.

Front desk team (Kalyna and Amelia) are always helpful, the newly renovated facilities are clean, minimalist, and welcoming. They focus on wellness; unlike other wellness places, they do not upsell, and they do not have front-desk people imposingly and condescendingly asking you to tip on top of everything when you pay. Victoria is a PERFECT fit for me (a mature artist and educator); she is an exceptional listener who always guides our conversations toward meaningful insights with great skill. I am fortunate to have insurance through my workplace, and so have the privilege of being able to take the time required to heal through therapy with this patient, gifted individual. Our appointments are also online, which suits me well. As I do not always have health coverage or sometimes just need to take a breather, Victoria and I sometimes do not speak for several months. When we DO meet again, it is always easy and feels as though my therapist has read her notes! It is important to mention that although the therapy atmosphere is relaxed, we have a strictly professional relationship. Everyone is an absolute pleasure to deal with...from the receptionists who greet you upon your arrival, to the individual recently hired to administer shots (hysterically funny although she's obviously a sociopath who likes to cause pain to people), to the friendly and thorough doctors, this place is tops. One of the advantages of having a physician in this clinic is that should my doctor be away, another physician can step in and see me in a pinch. What can I say about my doctor??? I've been a patient of his for over 15 years and have found him to be approachable, thorough, concerned and the kind of guy you want to have a tequila with.
