Her office is very small so it doesn't have any equipment that requires large areas. And yet she does her best. She has limited hours, so she tries to be efficient. She is not a money grabber, i.e., not wanting you to have many sessions with her so that she can earn money, OT sessions are expensive! Instead, she works on a model of being consulting, giving you strategies that you can do with a parent/guardian, to save money. She also believes in the word "occupational." If a deficit doesn't affect your life, why do you need therapy? As an example, if you are not physically coordinated to play a certain sport, do you need therapy if you don't need or want to play that sport? Her assessment is reasonably thorough for a one-hour assessment. There are so many areas of OT that it can't be all assessed in one hour! There is no free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, but it is not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking and a parking lot. Review 2023-278

You get assigned a therapist who you would be regularly working with on the same day and timeslot. They tested for fine motor and gross motor skills, balance, and hand-eye coordination. The after-school hours and weekends are quite booked up. There is free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. It was almost 10pm when she saw my child waiting for over an hour (but this is completely understandable) yet she didn't understand why he was cranky and couldn't hold still to a very sensitive part of his body. This was not cold or flu injury. This was a laceration injury. she was in a bad mood because she said she had a cold. There was no comfort and compassion for my child's injury. I eventually I had to pin my kid down just so she didn't walk out of the room for the second time to check on the injury. She made a comment towards his attitude yes his bedtime is 8 and he's tired and hurt. My child indeed needed medical attention with a specialist and a follow up to make sure it was healing. I am surprised she's a paediatrician because she doesn't seem to like kids or doesn't have any tips or tricks to make a child comfortable. No maternal instincts kicked in. Reception was kind and nice. And overall it is clean. I am sure great doctors work here, as well. I am only hoping it was a bad day. I had to explain to my son on the car ride that it wasn't their fault he was so scared.

They know their stuff, and and work within a plan. There were times I wish they were a little more aggressive with my care, but it's hard to fault them for being careful. The cost are very reasonable and for those 65 years old and over, 19 years old and under, ODSP or Ontario Works recipients, and people hospitalized for at least one night due to an injury are covered under OHIP, though no referral required for private pay services. I found this place very professional and friendly. The physiotherapist (Eliza Pereira-Karve) was just great and considerate, having a wealth of skills and equipment to enable me with a full recovery. They also have at this location a team of Kinetics to train one to do proper stretching and exercises. They are wheelchair accessible. They are located at St. Clair West and Bathurst, Unit #6. Dr.Osborn,…read more I'm writing you this note to express my dissatisfaction with the care I received from you. At my first appointment on Nov.15 I described why I was there. Constant coughing, constant throat clearing, physical discomfort with sustained or prolonged conversation. My voice was weak, my lungs felt congested. Your response gave me hope. You described my symptoms as "common" and said I had "many options" open to resolve my issues. To start, you sent me home with a steroid spray to use for 6 weeks as well as a prescription for daily acid reflex pills. Today, Dec. 21, I returned to your office to report no change in my situation, eager to hear what I could try next. Your response was brief. You suggested I could try the 'Singing therapy' offered in the adjoining office, which you had mentioned a couple times at our first appointment. Or, you further suggested, I could try blowing Botox in my lungs. But, you explained, there were unfortunate side effects to that approach. I asked you what happened to the "many options" available to me which you spoke of 5 weeks ago. No response. I expressed my frustration with my situation, and my frustration with your sudden lack of available options. No response. To these meager choices I said fine I'll try the Singing therapy. On my way out, your receptionist handed me a pamphlet stating the cost of that therapy was roughly $200 per hour. A fact you never mentioned at either of my appointments. I only hope when you see your own personal doctor you receive better care than I did.
