The good : this head shop is two stories ! They have an amazing selection of glass , smoking products and other paraphernalia . They literally have something for every budget which I appreciate. The bad: customer service was mediocre . So why the one star ? The ugly : I bought a stash can which was broken . You gotta love Toronto for having a store like this right front and center on the busy Yonge corridor. When I think hemp, I think of 70s hippies, but this is definitely not your typical hippy store. They sell a lot of really neat hemp products, such as clothes (actually pretty nice things) and hats, body lotions and creams, t-shirts. I tried one of their body lotions, I'm not sure what it's called, but it actually smelled surprisingly good. The main floor, although undeniably cool, the basement is where all the action is. You can buy seeds and soil to grow your own, they supply all the materials you'll need (yes including lights)... For $4000 you can buy an actual machine. It's this big-ass time capsule like machine, which has the plants on the side panels of the doors. It looks kinda scary but cool nonetheless. read more

This company has great staff and excellent products at very good prices. After a visit to a local head shop and seeing bongs with no percs priced at ~CA$200 and up, I was very pleased to find a 12" with two percs for under $90. The tracking said the order would arrive a week later, on Friday, but arrived on Tuesday for a pleasant surprise. It was packed so it would survive a small nuclear detonation. I now have a roll of bubble wrap I can use! Being my first bong I was not sure how to use it so sent an email and received a lengthy description of the various aspects of the device and how to manage the water, etc. Very useful and thorough. Bought a lighter from here - used it 3 times over a 2 month period and it stops functioning.. Went back into the store with the receipt and they told me I had to go through the manufacturer.. May 5th, I order a fairly substantial amount of product. The order was ready for pickup the next day, which was great. The pickup was easy and quick, again great. When I got home I found I was missing an item. I emailed immediately, which was less than an hour after pickup and the store was still open. After not hearing back after close the next day I sent another email from my other address. After the 3rd day of no reply, I left a Google review, to which I received a reply within a couple hours (before the store even opened). I was told I would receive a refund "in a few hours. when the shop opens". After not getting a refund, or hearing anything for another 4 days, I emailed again and updated my Google review. here we are, 13 days after my first email, and I have received no refund and no reply to any emails. I suspect that the reply I received on Google was merely to placate me and buy some time. The item I was missing was relatively inexpensive, but it has become about the principal at this point. Even in these unusual times, emails and online customer service are things that can be done from a distance, and even often from home, so there is really no reason to let your customer service get so bad. I'm just glad this was a birthday gift and not something I needed to medicate. read more

I'm going to be fair even though I came here to write a good review. I love this place, but who's perfect? Trust me here. Pros: 3 packs of great papers for $5. This is the only place I go for papers or glass screens. Huge selection of glassware upstairs. I've recently discovered that all of my favourite hydroponic brands are sold in the basement! I'm starting to grow my own food, and their staff taught me which nutrients were safest for edibles (I was unaware!) The staff are friendly, attentive, don't argue about masks with me (I have a health exemption,) and above all else these folks are knowledgeable. When it comes to growing food or weed they demonstrate an excellent understanding of the competitive landscape. Cons: They don't respect the lineup too much, some of the staff will cut in front of each other to cash their customer out before you. They should control that better. Recommendations for stuff like papers or wraps are pretty hit-or-miss in my experience, the staff don't seem to have sampled a wide variety. I asked a girl to recommend a set of flavoured blunt wraps on my last visit, and I walked out with a $15 pack of cigars. I don't know how to make a mistake like that. More Pros: The growing equipment is priced competitively with online retailers, and they only carry the most effective and sought-after products. With Ontario farms shut down, I highly recommend you investigate hydroponics, and begin with equipment and advice from THC. This store was going to be my new head shop but not after my recent experience here. The first time I shopped at THC, I had an okay experience. The first guy that came up to us didn't seem to know what he was talking about. Then, the young girl, Peta, serving my partner and I seemed not interested in helping. She seemed very irritated, but we thought nothing of it until we left. One of the stash jars that we bought was a bit morphed and defective, so I called, and Bruce the manager picked up. He told me to bring it in so he can take a look. When I came in the next day and another manager was calling over the same person that spoke to me on the phone, all I hear is the same girl, Peta, laughing and talking to her coworker about my situation. She mocked what I said over the phone and was completely and utterly disrespectful. Bruce had managed to speak loud enough for her to hear that my presence was there. When she noticed that I was there, she got very quiet. Realizing I forgot my headphones, I went back, and lo and behold, Peta was there to greet me. I told her that I forgot my headphones and she made me seem like I was dumb and replied back with, "Are you asking if we sell any?" So I repeated myself, and she looked for it behind a counter. I noticed that they were in front of her and mentioned it to her. She takes my headphones and laid it in front of me very hard on the table and said nothing. Mind you, they are 500 dollar headphones. If I weren't late for work, I would have definitely have complained. But obviously, not much would have been done. Especially since the manager seemed to have made word about the jar situation to different employees. Definitely not coming back. If you don't know product knowledge, AT LEAST treat your customers AND their belongings with respect. Believe it or not I brought my mom here yesterday with me to pick up a Hookah because on the website it said they carried them. I also knew they had wicked incense I love and a few other things. Immediately we were greated by a friendly guy at the cash. I headed up the stairs to find my hookah! Been here a bunch of times, The Good: Great variety of vapes, papers, decent glass selection upstairs, but most of the glass is artsy and very pricey. The bad: Sometimes you have to wait for staff to help you, High prices(sometimes they have sales) The worst: Came here on 4/20 to pick up a new vaporizer. Asked an employee a couple standard questions and he seemed irritated, he told me that it came with a free grinder, the grinder was sketchy aluminum trash, but w/e it's free. I cash out and walk away. Get to my car check the receipt and there is a surcharge for the grinder that was added to the vaporizer cost. I found out because my buddy who came with me to the store got the same exact vaporizer with the same exact "free" grinder had a surcharge for a different amount... if you are going to scam us, at least scam us for the same amount dummy... Walk back to the store and look for the guy who ripped us off, got our money back... Thx is decent if you are local or really need something your local smoke shop doesn't carry, other than that, don't waste your time, the employees are usually always different (low retention) and you might get scammed or cheated. GREAT place to go to for all your smoking and/or growing needs. 3 stories, they have everything you could ever need, and have been quite helpful in guiding me to buy things they did not sell (butane lighter). Prices range based on quality, and they have everything from the inexpensive $5-10 pipes to the expensive RooR waterpipes. The staff is also quite knowledgeable and always ready and willing to help. Very disappointed long term customer who purchases $100 worth of vape replacements a month and will never be shopping here today after being yelled at by a male staff member yesterday. I came in to buy 2 5 packs of replacement coils for my Yocan and Yocan plus which I both purchased here and do monthly, I am used to getting great service from all staff here. Yesterday I came in and there were two people being helped in the vape section, I waited by the coils for someone to be free, one staff member rang someone up and then assisted 4 people who came in the shop after me, those customers bought papers, and some bought screens for bongs. When I tried to get someone to assist me as I had now been waiting 15 minutes I was told "maam you have to wait, I am only one person" and I said "you assisted 4 people who came in after me and I have been waiting" to which he yelled "I AM ONE PERSON". I am also one person who spends a lot of money at your store and I will never be again. I waited by walking myself to the TTC and getting on a train and going to BGS vape and buying the vape coils there, and where I will now be buying them from. If a staff member is stressed out having 4 customers in the store at once, maybe he needs to go on break and smoke? I'd hate to see what actually happens when it's actually busy in there. Anyway you have lost a long term customer, who really liked your shop and used to recommend it to everyone, but will now go out of my way to tell people what terrible service you offer by yelling at customers who were waiting when you assisted people who came in after them to buy $2 rolling papers and $1 screens. A very bad experience. The salesclerk simply didn't know what he was talking about, I believed him, and now it's going to cost me an extra $100 to get what I wanted in the first place. He seemed quite stoned when he was talking to me. I waited at the cashier's counter while three other people were served ahead of me. I didn't say anything because I wanted to see if the staff would acknowledge that I was there. Someone finally noticed me, and I got served. If you are looking for a good range of items, and quality of service isn't really an issue, it's not a bad place. If you want useful information, clear explanations, and customer satisfaction, go somewhere else. I'll go back if they have something I need and can't get anywhere else. As others have reported, product selection excellent, but customer service is mediocre to terrible. I have been in a number of times, as it's close to my home and while clearly there are a number of employees around, wait times vary depending on when they "decide" they are willing to help you. I went to get a bottle of cleaning solution to take to the front cash (which I have done before, and in fact one time an employee asked me to help myself, as they were with another client), and an employee walked by me, snatched the bottle from my hand, and with a snotty tone told me off for doing something I assumed as acceptable. It wasn't so much the correcting of my behaviour that pissed me off, it was the tone and the physically removing the bottle from my hand. I'll travel the extra distance to a shop that may have less stock and selection but at least the employees are polite and respectful. read more

We are 2 volunteer teachers who teach people on end of life care (mostly cancer, hiv) how to regain health with natural ways while cutting down the amount of prescribed pain killers they would have to take. Our courses cover may ways to regain heath, how to properly grow and use medical marijuana being one of these ways, the people who work in the basement of this store are discussing they think it is funny to over charge the sick. All of our students have medical marijuana cards from health Canada, most of our students are in wheel chairs so they can not access the basement of this store, so we usually shop for these students with their cards from health Canada, all this place has to do is follow their stores policy so these students get a 13% tax discount on one receipt. We are completely funded by large corporations we do not get paid for our time teaching and we are not government funded all funds come from large corporations, these corporations will cover all costs as long as it is shown on one receipt that the products are bought with a legal card from health Canada. Every time this is not done and then the staff at this store make jokes about these people on end of life care, the corporations will not cover the cost of the products, every time they rip these sick people off and make jokes about it, we usually end up paying out of our own pockets for our students because of this (see photo of receipt posted). This store is dedicated to drug dealers one of the best selection of baggies and scales I have ever seen, in fact the staff in the basement of this store are so stoned all the time it takes hours to get any service. The top of the stairs to get to the basement store is always closed with a rope because the guy who works down there is up in their café next door smoking pot instead of working, then he comes in with friends chats for half an hour then passes some baggies and cash back and forth then tries to help you. Marijuana can do so much for people in health care and this store has the location and products to really help but sadly this business is all about dealing drugs! read more

Not 100 percent sure if its even a legit site. I ordered a bowl 2 weeks prior to this post. I had to manually ask for the tracking number twice. The 1st time i got told it was my fault. Then the tracking number provided sent me to a tracking site on their own site. I do not know if the bowl was ever legitimately sent out. All i got told was they want an additional 20 dollars for shipping it back on a 10 dollar bowl i never got.
