This mall is MASSIVE. I'm pretty sure it's the biggest mall in Southern California--or at the very least, it's big enough that you'll question whether you've actually been shopping or accidentally entered a small city. There is literally something for everyone here. You've got the usual big-name stores, but then you turn a corner and suddenly you're surrounded by really cool Japanese-inspired shops and things you didn't even know you needed until five minutes ago. My wallet strongly disagrees with this business model. And then there's IKEA attached to the mall. Because apparently regular shopping wasn't exhausting enough. You can start your day looking for a pair of shoes and end up wandering through Swedish furniture, eating meatballs, and wondering why you now own 14 storage containers. The food selection is another story. There are SO many choices that deciding where to eat can become its own full-time job. You could easily spend the entire day here shopping, eating, people-watching, getting lost, finding your way again, and then getting lost AGAIN because apparently you forgot which entrance you came through. I've been coming here since I was a kid, so there's definitely a nostalgia factor for me. But even after all these years, Del Amo still has that "let's see what's over there" feeling--and that's dangerous when you're supposed to be making a quick trip. Bottom line: Come for one thing. Stay for six hours. Leave with bags you didn't plan on buying, a full stomach, tired feet, and absolutely no idea where you parked. Del Amo Fashion Center: Come shop. Get lost. Eat something. Repeat.

I have only been there once before writing this review but it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable places I have visited.
