    It's odd. I just recently left this office and transferred my account to another Allstate agency…read moreand now Yelp is asking me to review them. When Mr. House was active (I'm not sure, but I think he's retired or semi-retired) I loved this location. Emails were responded to promptly. Any phone conversations were pleasant and easy. In the last few years, every single time I have even a minor question - the agents treat me like I'm a pest and an idiot for calling in. I started emailing since I felt like that would be less bothersome. But after a week with no response to my email, I called. When I mentioned that I'd emailed, agent told me 'they have other customers / I'm not their only customer' and that he 'hadn't had a chance to respond.' Keep in mind, all I said was, "I'm sorry to call, I know how busy yall are. So I emailed you but didn't get a response." The last time I called in - I just wanted to check to make sure none of my discounts had fallen off because my premium had increased. My cars values have decreased. I haven't had any accidents. I expect my premiums to go down or remain the same. This is something I typically did, if I noticed an increase (back when I had Geico and also with USAA). Agent was very snappy. Said that ALL insurance companies had an increase and Allstate's was lower than the national average. He also advised me that my increase happened two months prior. (Why does it matter if I waited two months to call?) When I asked him if he was telling me that I can't call to check if I notice an increase, he said 'that's not what he was saying.' He did eventually tell me that the low mileage discount isn't on one of the 3 insured vehicles. It should have been. Since this car is parked over 5 hours away and not being driven. I was never told that I needed to provide a photo of the odometer / proof of the mileage - every 6 months or so - to get the low mileage discount. NEVER. Every conversation I have with them was just so ARGH. It seemed like they were deliberately impatient, abrasive and condescending. I'm old. I get it. But I don't feel like I'm at the age where I get easily confused. Nor do I feel like I have early onset dementia. But these guys had me questioning it with the way they handled me during every phone call or interaction. Lol. I think you'll love them if you're the right demographic. I was considering leaving Allstate entirely, but because I have a very nice original home policy, I opted, instead to switch offices. They are pleasant, responsive (both via email and phone). I only wish I'd left this office sooner.

Steve has always being very patient over the phone and is knowledgeable of answering my questions thoroughly. It has always been painless dealing with Steve and his team member. I would continue my service with Steve, and also recommend Steve and his team to all Yalpers!!

I have been…read morerelatively quite satisfied with them until I met Pankaj and he offered me a friendly review of my insurance coverages and offered that he may be able to reduce my premiums. At first I was very apprehensive as I knew my premiums were already quite low given I had excellent track record with my home and auto and I was with them for almost 15 years however I still gave Pankaj a try. When he ran my numbers, I was very pleasantly surprised that he was able to get all my premiums and overall insurance cost down with Farmers by atleast 20%. It was a no brainer for me to switch at that time. What I really like about Pankaj is that he not only works very hard to get you the best possible deal and value with respect to insurance, he is also very knowledgable in all types of insurances - Life, Auto, Home, Business General Liability, Business Error and Omissions etc. I have since then called him several times to take his advice on different types of insurances and he ALWAYS picks up the phone and answer all my questions with lot of patience. His knowledge and customer service has been by far the best among all the insurance agents I have worked with in last 15 years. I can say that one of the biggest reason beside his quotes, I decided to move all my insurances to his recommended carriers was due to his excellent customer service. Now I recommend him to all my family and friends as I can trust him that he will take very good care of them.

But whats "Excellent" (above all) is the Farmers Experience. Recently had the misfortune of totaling a Prius. Overall, It was a rough time dealing with the total loss as we intended to drive the car for another 6-8 years or so. With the professionalism, communication skills, knowledge and efficiency of the Farmers Claim agent help (Ms.Stephanie) and their preferred shop (Ed Voyles Body Shop -Mr.Heath) the process of claims management and the blow was softened. Within 12 calendar days, the payment was EFT'ed to my account. It was a very reasonable settlement (Kbb Good Value+Kbb Very Good Value/2). Thank you Pankaj, and thank you Farmers!
