I was in need of a car detailing badly. The person who normally does my detailing was out of town and the person they recommended to me was very noncommittal. So, I decided to look on yelp for a local business. I just happened upon Torres Automotive Detailing and messaged them, along with another company. Torres responded back right away. They were up front with pricing and were able to come out right away. They gave me an arrival time of 30 minutes and Ruben who was the young man that came out was at my house within 20 minutes. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. There was no trying to upsell or nickel and dime me for extras. What I asked for was what I got. Ruben did an exceptional job. He was very polite and professional. There were a few spots that were left behind that the wax couldn't remove and Ruben made it a point to let me know. I appreciate the honesty. He also made it a point to have me inspect the work before he left. He wanted to make sure I was happy with the results. Torres Automotive has gained a new customer. Very responsive, kind, and on time. I appreciated how nice these guys were. I was charged 100$ for what I thought was a "baseline" clean. Which looked to be like a wipe down, vacuum, and steam. I have an older Honda accord, so I understand that I would have to pay more for a more robust service. I wanted to get an exterior, interior and engine clean and he was straight up with the price being $90. Very cheap out of all places I've seen. The detailing was meant to be a suprise gift for my boyfriend so I was pretty upset when he had to cancel our appointment last minute. We decided to book it to next week and he was able to show up, an hour late but I didn't mind. He was pretty quick with the job, very friendly and gave my boyfriend lots of advice about the car. The car had many stains over the years that are impossible to remove, but he tried to do whatever he could and told us everything that he could and couldn't do for us, which many detailers wouldn't admit. So in the end he gave us just a basic interior and exterior wash for only $40, he was very apologetic on how he couldn't remove paint stains that are over ten years old. He was very kind, the service is very affordable and my boyfriend loves seeing the car shine again. read more
