I've been a frequent patron at this establishment. Service is hit or miss and so is the food. It used to always be consistent and tasty, but seems like the last few visits have seen the standards drop. My volcanes the past couple times have been served with burnt chips, and the al pastor was cold. Just seems like something has changed. read more

Truly a hidden gem on this end of Springdale. We ordered a chicken sope, carnitas sope, carnitas torta and carnitas Papas Rellenas. The papas rellenas came with four corn tortillas. This was enough food for three people. These dishes did not come with sides and they did not need them. Portions are huge and filling. You can watch the food being made and assembled so you know it is fresh. The torta bread here is not overly toasted and that was my preference. It made the carnitas really stand out but it still remained solid, no soggy bread. They have three sauce levels. We were steered away from the hottest sauce and rightfully so. I enjoyed the green sauce and my husband enjoyed the mild red sauce. Very friendly and helpful service. The place was packed. read more

Javier, one of the owners, visited with us and was very welcoming. Our order was to go, everything we needed was in the bag and more! Lots of extras...limes, fresh veggies, and lots of sauce! Very impressed with this! Seen it driving home from Arkansas, decided to stop. The tacos were great. The salsas were good! The torta was huge and could feed two people or make 2 meals, had all the fixins. The chili colorado burrito was good. Beans and rice were good too! Would eat here again! Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Got the cubana sandwich and my wife got the quesadillas. The sandwich was good, but the quesadilla with the seasoned pork was PHENOMENAL. We're out of towners that hate big crowds. So I read the one review this place had and I took the risk. Lord am I glad we did. Even the cheese dip hit right. Wow! I have found my new favorite! I had Volcanes. Three toasted tortillas each: Suardero, Al Pastor, & Carne Asada with lime, cilantro, and onion, accompanied with cucumber and radish. Mwah!! UPDATE: I've supported this locally own restaurant by ordering large amounts of food 1-2x/week for the past several months. The tacos are still great, however, today I experienced the most UNPROFESSIONAL encounter with the staff. Due to miscommunication, a waitress ordered my meal incorrectly & expected me to eat a food item in which I do not eat. I explained that I asked for a steak sandwich, but received pork. She allowed me to change my meal to tacos, which was comparable in price. When I went to pay, the young lady at the register told me I had to pay for the pork sandwich because "she would get in trouble" if I didn't then proceeded to argue with me & demand that I pay for it. Of course, I declined to pay for a food item I didn't order or consume. The way in which this situation was handled was HORRIBLE & based on this interaction, I will no longer support this establishment. Staff needs training! read more
