It's a small, charming dog park located on the corner of the car lot, and it has everything you'd need for a quick break with your dog. There's a water fountain, a little fire hydrant, a photo-op area, and soft turf for the dogs to run around. I'm not sure if it's open to the general public or just for BMW customers, but it's a great addition that serves its purpose well. Perfect for pet owners waiting on their car!

I might not be the best dog park critic, considering that in the short 9 months since we rescued…read moreour dog we haven't been to many, but I really enjoy taking him here. There are two separately fenced dog areas, one for "small" dogs (35 lbs. and under) and one for dogs larger than that. As you would expect, the small dog area is slightly smaller, however, both areas are reasonably sized, with plenty of room for activities (Step Brothers... Anyone?)! But seriously, there's enough room in either park to be able to throw a tennis ball with a chuck-it and fir the dog to get some speed and work out that energy. We typically go pretty early, around sunrise before I start work. The folks I've encountered have all been friendly, and there's some "regulars" that I'm becoming familiar with. There seems to be an unwritten rule along the early birds, to take your pup(s) to whichever park isn't currently occupied, regardless of size. Now, I'm OK with this and follow suit, since my dog isn't very interested in other dogs, and is more interesting in chasing the tennis ball. That being said, it's a dog park for the public, so don't expect not to have to share! Besides, a little socialization is good for you and your animals! My only gripe is that a lot of people don't pick up after their pups, so land mines are aplenty. I do my best to make the rounds when I get there and clean up a bit, mostly selfishly so I don't get an unwanted surprises. I've never had an issue with parking, although the lot isn't exactly huge, but usually isn't too busy which is nice. I always take a peak when driving by and that seems to be the case any time if the day, any day of the week. I'm new to the area since November, so curious to see if it's a seasonal thing, and if crowds will increase as the weather heats up? We'll see! Nice little walking trail around the park, with a small children's playground. If you hope back onto Alderwood and head just a bit further (50 more yards?) there's another little park, a community center with restrooms, two half court basketball courts, two pickle ball courts, and a small grass area. I also take my son (I mean that in the literal sense, definitely not referring my pet as my child) to both parks and he always has a good time!

Many males try to show dominance and are aggressive towards dogs who don't allow it, so be aware. Overall, it's the people and dogs that caused the problems here because the facilities are great! There is a playground for kids right next to the gated park (separate small and big dog areas). Usually kept up with bags for poop and clean. If you do come, keep a close eye on your dog in case a bad-mannered dog tries something. Also, I don't suggest you allow small children in the park with the dogs because of this reason. I hate to put a place down like this, but I feel bad for my pup. He used to love the park and he loves the idea of going, but when he gets there, there is always some issue with some of the dogs.

From the playground you get a view of the pickleball court and the roller hockey rink. There are lots of covered overhangs for the picnic areas and also for the playground. I really liked the treasure hunt aspect of the playground where there were symbols around the playground you could look for after spinning an arrow that landed on an item you could look for. There was plenty of parking. There's also no dirt or tanbark so your kids can keep much cleaner. The bad: Four of the five stick things with metal chains where kids could stand was missing. Perhaps it was betting fixed. The interesting: I couldn't find the bee symbol anywhere. Let me know if you found it!

I enjoy walking through the tunnels. I was scared at first, but it was actually okay. Haha

Ok so to start parking is on the street, but this park isn't usually crowded so you don't have to worry about Parking miles away. This park is so clean! It's nice it's not like every other park that's going down hill. Tagged by the kids or gum and nasty stuff all over. If you're an active person this also has hiking trails it's lovely. The theme of the park is like forest it's a tree and goes into the slide which are "tree stumps" the park is for older kids I would say 4 and up, the slides are really steep but my 2 year old loves it. There's a lot of climbing, but if your toddler knows the concept, take them it's fun seeing them grow! This small park also has a shaded picnic area and the whole park is shaded which is lovely!
