Accommodations include cabins, yurts, meadow camping and spaces for RVs. Prices are different for each and are fair. We stayed over two nights (RV space and cabin) over the Labor Day weekend/week and had a nice time! The grounds were clean and quiet even during a busy time. All the RV spaces seemed suitable and were nicely sized with full hook ups available. The night we stayed in a cabin (cabin 3), we found it to be comfortable and clean, with three beds (two queens and a full bed jn the loft - you must climb a small ladder to go up there), a full bathroom with shower, a wood burning stove for heat, and some seating. There were a couple power outlets available. Electricity is available from 7am-10pm. On site there is a restaurant which has surprisingly excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We enjoyed such things as a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, a burger and a reuben sandwich. Sodas, waters, beer and wine are available. They have fantastic milkshakes as well (try the Huckleberry!). Prices were good and service as well. There is a geothermal pool on site as well (rules apply and a waiver) which we enjoyed. Jesse (the manager) was awesome, friendly and informative (especially about news/updated with regard to our backpacking trip) and all staff/crew was great as well.

We opted to release the reservation and go back towards Stanley for a better camping experience. If you're an RV camper of a certain demographic- this might be a great place- but it was not for us. The website needs to be more clear on their "tent" sites and what is available before next summer. Staff is nice, and the RV section looked well Maintained, but the tent sites again- problematic.

I had the pools to myself for an hour before others came. Both have a rock bottoms and steps to get in and out of. One is small and hotter, the day I was there it was 105 and the larger one was 95. Changing room at both. Toilets at the larger one. With the $7 you can to two other areas nearby (Land of the Yankee Fork & Bayhorse). The staff was friendly. The is also camping and RV spots. I believe if you do either of those you can use the pools as well. I would come back if in the area. Great find.

They don't use online booking. I called and had my letter with me confirming my request. When I got there they didn't have our reservation but accommodated us in a back in site. It was fine, but not what I wanted. The site was HUGE. The ground was flat, all hookups worked fine. We did laundry. Very reasonable prices and efficient machines. Great walking trails for dogs. The air, mountains, quiet and solitude was amazing. The front desk staff could be friendlier but we're ok. I actually really enjoyed my stay there.

Came with friends to hike the Sawtooths for a couple of days. Cabin had 2 queen beds: one in the…read moremain room and one in enclosed bedroom. Electric baseboard heat. Cabin was clean, and the venue quiet, but could have used some TLC: Kitchenette sink and shower water supplies are hooked backwards (cold where hot should be). Not a big deal in the kitchenette, but a scald hazard in the shower. Electric outlet near the kitchenette sink was defective -- only one side of the duplex outlet worked. And the lighting over the table was horrible. Difficult or impossible to do any reading or play games that required reading without using our headlamps. Bedroom door difficult to close against the threadbare carpet underneath it. Needs some attention from a circular saw. Entry door locks have also seen better days; I suspect the fit between the locks and their strike plates was better when first installed. Perhaps previous guests have made off with a mid-sized pot from the kitchenette? All we found was a large pot (sufficient for cooking pasta) and one sized for a pint's cooking. Something in-between would be a great addition.

With this many people, I hoped the staff would have given us more. But the staff were helpful with a requested late checkout and getting us an additional room at the last minute. The ac/heat works well along with the fridge. We didn't use the microwave or TV. The shower head was broken in the single bathroom in this room. Overall it's nothing bad or good. We got what we needed and had an enjoyable stay.

The whole family (11 people) decided to go to Mountain Village Resort for dinner. We walked in and of course were told it would take a bit because of having to put tables together. We decided to sit on the deck which was open. We ate a variety of items from taco salad, to chili to chicken friend steak to pasta. I had the Killer pasta with chicken which was very tasty. The deck has a covering but to me, it was still hot outside. Cold waters were served right away and food came out pretty quick. Stanley is a cute city and the Mountain Village Resort is a great place to eat. If I come back to go fishing here, I will definitely be back to eat at this restaurant!

Torreys Burnt Creek Inn is a paradise way away from it all. Located 18 miles south of the mountain…read moretown of Stanley where highway 75 meets highway 21. Look for mile post 210 and enjoy the views of the Salmon River. Great people in a great location, 15 acres right next to the river. They have 8 cabins and 10 RV park sites, with full hookups. A little store for basic travel and camping needs is their office. No phone reception here, but the WiFi is strong and fast. with three broadcast points. Also has a Verizon hotspot. I rented cabin 8, which was set for lengthy stays, full kitchen, small living room, a separate bedroom with 2 beds. All was clean and well kept, a rustic and basic cabin, not the Marriott. Bring your own shampoo or ask at the desk. The price was substantially less than all the other hotels and motels in town. The couple that runs it are very friendly, and can provide any needs or information. The back patio was just 100 feet from the river and on a plateau 30 feet above it, a spectacular view of a quiet and wide section of the Salmon River, perfect for wading. There was a fire pit and a barbecue. Perfect spot for long term fishing or rafting expedition and other outdoor sports. Well worth the drive off the beaten path!
