This park definitely takes advantage of supply and demand; there are no other RV parks in the area so they charge exponentially more than they deserve. I was here for about 6wks. When I arrived, the showerheads needed to be cleaned and I told them. They were never cleaned. The sites are literally a slab of concrete. The sites are set up that doors open the same way or the hook ups are on the same side. They falsely advertise that they have propane but don't. They falsely advertise a shuttle but don't have one. There are 3 washer and dryers and the entire time I was here there was 1 of each completely broken and 1 of the washers would only use scalding hot water. Throughout my stay, I literally saw 1 employee. This has been the most expensive park I've ever stayed at and it was NOT worth it! read more

We stay at Meadows RV park every year for our annual trip to Sun Valley and Ketchum, which are just 10-15 minutes away. . We can easily access the bike paths located down the street from the RV park. This year, I became sick and hospitalized the day before we were to leave to return home. Jennifer and Susie were so helpful and accommodating, allowing us to keep our motorhome parked in our site until I was able to travel. My husband could stay the nights with our dogs in the motorhome, and be near the hospital. We were able to keep our motorhome air conditioning on during the days for our dogs while my husband was with me at the hospital. Also, Ketchum is known for their dark skies at night. We were able to see so many stars and the Milky Way right from the RV Park. We always enjoy staying at Meadows. read more

If you're looking for a simple stay, close to all, including a gorgeous bike path, this will do the trick. No one was there when we pulled in at 5 (they say they are open until 10), but they left a map & the park is small, so it wasn't rocket science. It was a little tough to find the dump drain, but it's there. The parking situation is a little wonky at first (especially if you're pulling in after a long drive), and may feel a little confusing. The utilities for each spot are just next to each other. Yours will have your spot number on it. We received plenty of communication prior to our stay, complete with a check in link. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. It is right off a main highway, which didn't bother us at all but I did see some complaints here about noise. The noise was not bad at all, especially with windows closed and air on. We had vents and windows open and we were fine (and I'm a light sleeper/sensitive to noise). If you want less noise, I suggest you ask for a spot on the residential side of the park. You're also just next door to a residential community. Our spot sat next to someone's backyard. No problem for us, but this my bother some. The spots are packed in, but we paid $5 extra for a "premium" end unit, and that worked just fine. I will agree that it's a little pricey for what you get and how close you are to your neighbor. The end space was def worth the extra $5 for us, but the overall cost is a bit much. Bathrooms were clean enough, could have been given a little more attention as to how the trash can and paper bits were on the floor. But, again, if you're looking for a luxury resort experience, go elsewhere. We give it a 4 for proximity to town, access to bike paths, respectful and quiet neighbors, and some pretty epic views. read more

Built by people who have never RVd. The sites are parallel instead of at an angle so it's very difficult to get in and out of. They are building more sites and you just want to tell them to build them right. Obviously they've never RVd or driven a big rig otherwise they'd understand how to build an RV park. read more

Men's bathroom door does not lock, anyone can enter. One toilet. One shower with shower door that doesn't lock so anyone can enter shower area when you are showering. Right next to highway with no sound barrier for vehicles on highway. All this for $90.00 dollars. Everything else OK. read more

We had reserved a spot with Susie on short notice on a holiday and she was able to get us a spot. Then an hour later and 20 miles from the campground our 43 foot coach decided to break an injector fuel line. Needless to say we were stranded. We called Susie at the Meadows and she took the ball and ran. She found us support / mechanic and helped us with everything in Hailey Idaho. We were not able to stay at the Meadows and yes, she even refunded the nights stay. What an awesome person. She is the friendliest and most helpful person I have met in years. We will always go out of our way to stay at the Meadows with a support team like SUSIE. THANK YOU !!!! read more

Much quieter than a KOA. No loud kids. Just some folks chillin mostly my demographic of middle age-ness. Even though it's next to a freeway, it's still quiet. I didn't see all the signs that that one person posted and I would have probably been turned off by all the rules. We're all adults here and we respect their RV park. They seemed to have spaced every other spot out during this stupid Covid thing so that's even better! We go spot 38 which was near the bathroom but that's ok. It doesn't smell or not a ton of people using them. Clean bathrooms with showers in them. Grassy spots next to each site. Wish there were more trees or an enclosed dog run. There's plenty of room for one or two. Check in was the best. They just texted me a map that was easy to follow. Why can't all RV parks do this! read more

The only positive is that it is close to a great bike path! Here are the remaining "highlights": property had quite a bit of trash littered throughout. My wife actually spent an afternoon picking up a few bags of garbage around the park and an adjacent field. The restroom showers do not have a lock! The front office is only occasionally staffed. Don't bother emailing or calling as it is unlikely you will receive a response back. It is unfortunate - if the management cared, this place could be amazing. read more

so I scoped this place out in January 2025 even with some snow we could see grass between sites and 20' pines. we checked in July 2025. no grass. all trees cut down. no WiFi. (broken router) so for a week we lived in a gravel pit. not what I signed up for at $75 a night. I'll never go back. read more

This is the worst park we have ever stayed in. They don't mention on their website that every site is a "buddy" site. It means you share the space between you sites with the other RV. Our neighbors are literally 15 feet away and looking directly in to our front door. We have to share everything. And as for scenic views, that is a load of crap. See the pictures attached of our scenic views. Communication is horrible, no rules of the par given out. Laundry facilities is "offsite". That means down the road. Will never stay here again and cutting our stay short and eating the charges. read more

The Meadows RV Park Pros: Awesome bike path two blocks away. Surrounded by beautiful mountains. Not far from town (Ketchum). Cons: Expensive No help on site No help via phone No wifi Tight access Little privacy Uninviting bathrooms Noisy, next to highway No beautiful landscaping as advertised Expensive Very disappointing from the moment we arrived. There was no one in the tiny office to answer question or deal with problems. Called their number to get answers to our questions but only got a long voice message indicating it may take up to 24-48 hrs to get a return call . . . worthless. Looks like they have wifi but the password was not provided on their check in form . . . calling was no help - see paragraph 2 above. The park is small and tight both in maneuvering your rig and the close proximity between spaces. Very little privacy. Bathrooms are older and not too inviting. Location is right off the highway about 150 yrd, noisy. Great bike path into town about two easy blocks away. Surrounded by beautiful mountains. But there was little if any "landscaping" as advertised. Lots of sunshine but didn't see any trees along the front row. Oh, did I say for what you get it's expensive? I guess when you one of the few parks in town you can charge and get away with anything. I don't plan on returning. read more

The wi-fi did not work the entire time we were there. The first night we were given 2 options. Neither worked. The next day I was told the sight was aware it wasn't working and that it would be later in the week ( after we were gone) before it was fixed. Access to Wi-Fi was the primary reason I chose this location. I also have 2 weeks I need to be up here in September and October and wanted to see if this would be a good fit. My son was not able to finish his homework and I had to handle work issues while I was in town. I prefer clear communication when something isn't working as it wastes a my time to try things that don't work. I also had to locate the sewer access under the weed guard and rocks. "It's there somewhere." is not something I want to deal with after driving and needing to get settled so I can get online to answer questions from work. The rate did not strike me as a place I would have to encounter this. I would have to have a guarantee the Wi-Fi is working and advertised amenities, like the sewer hook-up, should be readily accessible. Honestly, I felt slighted as I have not experienced this at an RV park before. I was looking for convenience this trip and could have filled my water tank and hauled the generator had I known. read more

The Wi-Fi is nice and strong. There's only one toilet and one shower for men to use. You're about 300 feet from the highway so road noise may be a problem The rules and regulations-are kind of ridiculous. There are signs and placards and Post-it notes all over this park. Including the toilet stall. Including the shower stall. Outside the shower stall. On the door to the shower stall. Given the number and frequency of the rules, you would think that kindergartners are frequent customers and must be supervised and regulated, yet there is no staff on hand. Another bothersome rule is that you cannot shower between 11:30am and 1:30pm daily for some unknown reason. Despite being pet friendly, your dogs are only allowed to urinate on your grass in front of your RV. This place is silly and not great. read more

I had read the other reviews of how great the staff here was they must've quit their jobs. There is only one girl working now and she is very non-responsive we called left numerous messages never got a return call. Other RV'ers have pulled into the park while we have been here. Only 2 of 20 was able to get a reservation. Everyone else that we talked to didn't get any returned calls or emails. No one is in the office and no information posted as to how to contact mgmt. She came by after we were parked to collect payment and give us her direct phone number as well as the codes for restrooms and laundry. Took 3 days to get receipt emailed plus the code to the laundry room either isn't correct or it's broken. Call the direct number and get the same voicemail we get calling the other number. This is the worst RV park we've ever stayed at in over 3 years of camping. Beware, the pictures on line DO NOT look anything like the Meadows RV park, maybe at one time it did. First, they have added at least 8-10 tiny homes in front of the RV spots. The tiny homes make it EXTREMELY difficult to back your trailer into or pull out of your spot without going over the rocks or hit a tiny home which one person did. Second, they said on the welcome text they are updating the sites so don't use mats on the grass? There is no grass on the first 6 sites or so, just large rocks boarded by very tiny gravel that's everywhere. The third awkward item you'll notice is many of the sites are shared; ( you share the small space between you, along with water and power) our sewer was separate because we were on the end. Your RV or trailer will be so close to your neighbor so don't plan on using your awning or it will hit your neighbors trailer or overlap with their awning. THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK, even when you check with the nice young lady in the office, she says its just busy! The field in front of the RV park is littered in trash, and most of this area is used for overflow parking for people who have tow cars. The only positive thing I can say about the Meadows RV park is its proximity to Ketchum, however dry camping would be a thousand times better option! read more

We stayed there for two nights, Sep 15th & 16th, 2023. The park was run down looking and not very well maintained. The dump drain at our site was missing the cap plug, and only had a chunk of asphalt to cover it. The bathrooms were not in very good shape when we arrived, and were never cleaned during the whole time we were there. The trash can was full, there were pices of paper all over the floor, and the toilet was filthy. The only positive thing I can say is that the park is close to the bike trail. read more

A pretty basic campground with full hook ups for Rv's and Travel Trailers. The sites are pull through so the access is easy. There is a shower room and a toilet building and it is clean. Location is less than four miles from Ketchum so you could easily walk or ride a bike if you'd like. The woman that checked me in was kind and professional. The price was I suppose average but I've paid less for better ($45 September 28/29 2018). You can't check in til 1:00pm. read more

This park is poorly managed, the lady who runs it never answers her phone and could care less about her customers; it is unfortunately one of the only places to park an rv for storage in the Wood River Valley, but I've had nothing but terrible experiences parking it here. The gentleman who does security/maintenance at the park straight up threatened me for going over the 5 mph speed limit even though no one was around. The storage area is not secure at all and people routinely hang around it and you never know if your stuff could be stolen. Look elsewhere. This is the worst rv park I've ever been to! Also the lady rolls her eyes anytime I contact her and she is a very greedy person who charges over $1200 for lackluster facilities. read more

I stayed with my family of 4 over the weekend. If you want a basic, no frills RV park experience, this is just the ticket. Pros: 1.) Contactless check in. I received a text message from the manager prior to arriving with a map of the park along with WIFI info and access codes 2) Location is excellent for experiencing the Sun Valley/Ketchum area. The views are beautiful especially in the fall. You are close to the bike trail which runs along the river and stretches to Hailey and Ketchum. 3.) Bathroom facility was kept clean and didn't require coins to operate. Cons: 1.) Bath/Shower house only had one shower on the men's side. I never had an issue with a line ahead of me but that could be an issue. 2.) WiFi was weak for me read more

With no other RV park options in the Sun Valley area, this park is where you will likely end up. The good point is the great location just off US 75 right outside of Ketchum. The highway is maybe two hundred yards away, but there is very little traffic noise. The park has direct access to the bike trail that runs along the river and connects Ketchum, Sun Valley and Elkhorn. Checkin was great as the office texted us our confirmation, map and site location the morning of our arrival. We did not go to the office at all during our stay. The sites, however, are very narrow and you are extremely close to your neighbors. The center section is pull through sites that are asphalt with a grass area and picnic table. Really clean RV Park but smaller park with wonderful staff Downside there are hardly any shade spaces, close together, no camp store or lounge and don't sell propane. This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We were there for the Trailing of the Sheep and wanted a location nearby. While the spots were close together they didn't feel crowded. We were on an end spot so that helped. We enjoyed our stay and if we're ever in the area again we will probably stay there. It was easy to find and get around in. We used our shower and bathroom so I don't know what their facilities were like. I registered months in advance and when I emailed to confirm our reservation a couple of weeks prior to our arrival date, they were quick to confirm. read more

Literally the worst RV park in my 10 years of camping. I have learned the park was purchased by a CA company several years ago. They are not maintaining the property at all. The sites are so close together and you have to share the tiny space with your neighbor. The sites are dirt and dust. They have built little cabins which make entering and exiting your site impossible if you are on that end of the park. The bathrooms are filthy. Someone will text you but, that's about it. This is the only park in the Sun Valley area which is a bummer. I will not return. This was my third visit to The Meadows. My first two visits were much better until the CA company purchased it.....it has gone down hill to point where every neighbor we had said the same thing "we will never return". Sad. read more

This is the ONLY RV park in the whole area (50 miles). The staff is only on duty 5 days a week, never answer the telephone, and the only positive thing is the easy location. The sites are extremely close together and mostly dirt. Restrooms: well, each women and men restroom only has one toilet and one shower. Hope you are never in a hurry. I was in the RV Park for 8 days and the restrooms were NEVER CLEANED. Paper on the floor, full paper containers, and poop on the toilet seat. Gross! The sites are not maintained or looked after. Friendly teenage staff, and they don't have a business telephone to answer when not in their 6'x6' shack. She said that the owner would not provide a telephone to carry with them in the Park. They do not return telephone calls either from their voice message recorder. Been to the Sun Valley area, don't expect to return. read more

Yes, the park is close to a road, but you also look out on a beautiful mountain. The staff was very friendly and gave us a great last minute spot. The bathrooms were clean. Would I want to stay for long? No, but was it an awesome spot for the night? It sure was, and ultimately it is you who creates the great experience around any camping site. Anyway. Thank you By the way: Being able to let 'their' dog pee on 'their' grass that was around 'their' camping site!!!! Just to be aware that 'your grass' will be 'someone elses' grass after you leave.
