Look for mile post 210 and enjoy the views of the Salmon River. Great people in a great location, 15 acres right next to the river. They have 8 cabins and 10 RV park sites, with full hookups. A little store for basic travel and camping needs is their office. No phone reception here, but the WiFi is strong and fast. with three broadcast points. Also has a Verizon hotspot. I rented cabin 8, which was set for lengthy stays, full kitchen, small living room, a separate bedroom with 2 beds. All was clean and well kept, a rustic and basic cabin, not the Marriott. Bring your own shampoo or ask at the desk. The price was substantially less than all the other hotels and motels in town. The couple that runs it are very friendly, and can provide any needs or information. The back patio was just 100 feet from the river and on a plateau 30 feet above it, a spectacular view of a quiet and wide section of the Salmon River, perfect for wading. There was a fire pit and a barbecue. Perfect spot for long term fishing or rafting expedition and other outdoor sports. Well worth the drive off the beaten path!

It's perfectly clean, everything is provided as advertised. It's just not shiny and new. The single thing that I really didn't like was the only sink was the "kitchen" sink. I struggle with the idea of using the restroom and then washing my hands in the same place I'm going to prepare food. I can't speak for all the cabins but that's how ours was. Not a deal breaker if you're trying to stay in the area and it meets your price point - just not ideal. Everything else was lovely.

They don't use online booking. I called and had my letter with me confirming my request. When I got there they didn't have our reservation but accommodated us in a back in site. It was fine, but not what I wanted. The site was HUGE. The ground was flat, all hookups worked fine. We did laundry. Very reasonable prices and efficient machines. Great walking trails for dogs. The air, mountains, quiet and solitude was amazing. The front desk staff could be friendlier but we're ok. I actually really enjoyed my stay there.

I had the pools to myself for an hour before others came. Both have a rock bottoms and steps to get in and out of. One is small and hotter, the day I was there it was 105 and the larger one was 95. Changing room at both. Toilets at the larger one. With the $7 you can to two other areas nearby (Land of the Yankee Fork & Bayhorse). The staff was friendly. The is also camping and RV spots. Staff collects trash every morning and also will refill propane tanks for you if you leave the tank out, you just have to pay for the propane! We chose to get a group site as there were 3 groups in our party. The group site consisted of 4 sites forming a box around shared grass (shown in photo). Full hookups including a direct dump spot on your site! There are plenty of solo sites which each have their own grass patch (pro tip - sites around spot 77 offer a view of the river!). super dog friendly with stations throughout the park for bags and waste trash cans. The main lobby has free popcorn available for self serve. Very nice pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as a mini fitness area and showers located to the left of the lobby. 8pm-10pm is reserved for adults only. Bathrooms were literally the nicest i have ever seen (super clean!) with each private stall having a shower, sink, toilet and complimentary bathmats. bathmats only ran out once in the 4 times i used the shower. There is also access to the river from the campsites and areas for fly fishing! Full time residents stay here as well :) Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again!

The staff makes sure you are okay to set up and stay to answer any questions. The spaces are spread out enough to give you enough space between sites and we loved the group site of four! The common grass area in the middle was ideal to gather around and let our dogs hang out (on leashes). It was like our own little camping area. The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen camping! Individual bathrooms with showers equipped with bath mats! Very clean and the water pressure was excellent! 6 bathrooms in our area with the laundry room. A short walk from our camp site. The main check-in area had a club house with a pool/spa (adults only 18 and up from 8-10pm) with a lounge. They had some entertainment at nights (scheduled). Free popped popcorn all day, help yourself which was just like what you get at the movies - yum! RV Park is dog friendly and has a dog park and has dog areas and poop bags/dispensers thought out the park. It is close to the river so some spots have a river view and you are able to walk to the river and fish. Really loved our stay and will be back next year! Highly recommended!

They worked with us because we didn't know how long it would take to get our truck back, penciling us in the reservations until we could confirm if we were staying or leaving. It is noisy because of the traffic, but the staff made it a fantastic stay.

This is a BEAUTIFUL campground on Little Red Fish Lake in Stanley, Idaho. It's fairly small,…read moreprobably less than 10 camping spots on the whole site, so if you snag one...you are a lucky duck (all sites are first come, first serve). This campground has gorgeous pines throughout and sits right on the edge of Little Red Fish Lake. Cost: I came here with a fairly large group of people (16), so we had to snag two camping spots. They only allow one car per site, but you can purchase extra parking passes if necessary. We paid $18 per spot per day and $9 for each additional car. (You'll want to bring cash with you to pay, as there is no way to pay for the sites via cc or check!) ETC: - No showers (wah, wah), but if you're going into the Idaho wilderness, you might as well be ready to rough it, amiright?? - They do however have bathrooms with stalls, a sink, and a mirror (for a camp-sight, these bathrooms are very well kept and clean #PRAISE). - Access to drinkable water. - Firewood for purchase on sight ($7 a bundle). - Each camp-sight comes equipped with a firepit and picnic tables. - Bonus: lots of trees, so if you have a hammock, be sure to bring it along with you!
