One of the guys talked her into a "super cleaning of the interior", which would cost $50 and take half-an-hour. As we were driving away, we noticed a 6.5 inch long slice in the passenger side dashboard. It was very obvious and it was not on the dashboard previously. It looked like someone had taken a razor blade to the dash to make this slice, it had that appearance. So we turned around and went back to Personal Touch for an explanation. The first guy who came out said we didn't see the slice before because the dashboard had been dirty (this is the guy who runs the cash register and didn't even work on the car at all). We asked for the manager, when he came out, he told us it was the imprint of the airbag. He quickly realized that we were not stupid enough to believe that, so he left to go question the employee who had cleaned our interior. When the manager came back again, he said the employee who had cleaned the dash was not wearing or using anything that would have caused that slice, and that our dash was lightly cleaned because it was not that dirty. OK, so how did the slice magically appear there ?? Bottomline is that they are all liars and have ZERO INTEGRITY. I would never say that someone did the damage on purpose, but when an accident does happen, at least be man enough to fess up to your mistake. And an accident did happen here, a 6.5 inch slice is now in my wife's dashboard. I am very unhappy right now, and I would not recommend Personal Touch Car Wash in Torrington to anyone.

I had to show her the description on my phone, she still tried to deny it was included by the wording. This whole interaction just screamed scam. They gave me the car wash "to honor the website". How nice of them. Meanwhile you told me to drive up to the car wash gate, for my car detail, so would seem to me, it's included just by where you had me pull my car up to. Unfortunate, because the actual guy doing the car detail did a great job. I recommend the hard worker go get employed by a business with integrity.

This location offers a chance to pay for a car wash and gas at the pump (which I did not partake) and also has a Dunkin inside the convenience market. I got very lucky with getting out - I pulled into the right-turn-only exit onto 202 when the light below was red. However, it was very expensive gas, even without purchasing the car wash. Despite the pluses, I don't think I'll make this a consistent stop - I got lucky getting out once, I'm not sure that will hold, and I can't afford the gas prices.

No technician ever showed up, and I never received ANY contact from anyone at Safelite. It was after hours and impossible to get through to ANYONE. After an hour of trying, I spoke to a human via the chat feature, and they told me that they reached out to the tech and asked that they contact me with an ETA. I STILL never received any contact.
