I stopped by here by myself maybe around 6pm on a Monday and was seated at a table because the bar was full, but told I only had an hour since they were full for reservations. That was totally fine and knew I wouldn't be more than that. If you are coming here with other people, you definitely need to make a reservation. The servers are dressed in traditional German clothes which is a very cool touch. Everyone I spoke to also spoke English. I ordered the schnitzel and whichever beer they recommended with it. The service at Haufbrauhaus was terrible. I ordered a seasonal beer and it was fantastic and the outside seating was wonderful on a perfect day. Our server was awesome and spoke perfect english. I ordered the charcuterie board and it had a couple of hummus scoops and a beef stick and this scoop of stuff that was way too rich for me with pieces of butter in it, but the Germans love it. One night, we were out late and decided to get dinner around 10:30pm and this was literally the only spot we found around with warm food available. They let us come sit inside and enjoy. Even getting the check was a struggle--we eventually had to get up and go to a counter ourselves. It felt like the staff had little interest in actually serving the customers.
