The chicken is the best IMO, that's definitely what I stick to. I haven't tried those tostada shells yet but they look intriguing for sure, maybe next time. Tacos from here are good too, the shells are perfection, and loaded up! Looking forward to coming back already. I usually dine in and just sit anywhere, there's plenty of tables both inside and some outside when it isn't super cold and rainy.

I got the chicken enchilada and tamale plate and my partner got the 2 ground beef tacos and beef enchilada plate. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. The rice was a tiny bit under but the beans were perfect. Everything had good seasoning. The enchiladas were both really good, but the beef in my tamale was more like pot roast and was kind of dry. The masa in the tamale was really moist and delicious though. My partners tacos were good, if a little soggy. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. They were regularly checking on us without being pushy or intrusive. The space could use a good deep clean - there was some grime between the seats and the vents all needed a really good scrub. The decor is pretty standard for American Mexican restaurants. There are some parking spots out front and at the side of the building but it can feel pretty sketchy, so I'm not sure if I would go at night just because of that. It was lunchtime, so I tried the #11 lunch special (one chicken enchilada, and a cheese chile relleno.) The food came quickly, and I found it to be good. The enchilada had a good amount of chicken in it, and the chile relleno (an egg wrap type of relleno, not the fried whipped egg white I prefer) was good. The egg was not overcooked as so often happens with these types of rellenos. The sauce on the enchilada and relleno was delicious. The refried beans were tasty, and the rice was nicely done. Chips were ok, and the salsa was chunky and actually had a little heat. Much better than some others I have had. The server who helped me was friendly and responded nicely to the small amount of Spanish I speak. I would eat here again.
