We ordered the fried fish, and it arrived with a fried fly stuck in it. Obviously, finding an insect in your food is unpleasant. I understand that flies can sometimes get into restaurants and mistakes can happen. What bothered me most was not the fly itself, but how the situation was handled. When we brought it to the attention of the person in charge, instead of simply apologizing and offering a refund, he tried to justify what happened. A sincere apology and immediate resolution would have gone a long way. Accidents happen, but customer service and accountability matter. Sadly, the response left a worse impression than the mistake itself. And our waitress had the worse service. . I called her to ask for more lemon and she rolled her eyes at us.

Thank goodness there was no line when I got there but after I sat down, there was a decently long line. The meat wasn't bad but the guacamole sauce was not seasoned. Also, they had some radishes but they were not sliced. No carrots and jalapenos in vinegar but they did have some grilled jalapenos. I like the cucumbers and sliced radishes that so many of the good places will offer YET these were expensive. At 45 pesos [$2.65] for the adobada and 70 pesos [$4.38] for the tripas. I was a little surprised because I can get shrimp tacos for that price at another taco place not far from here.

Ordered 4 asada, 2 tripe tacos a coke and horchata between my brother and I it was $20 even. Considering the location and the open late felt a little more than what I'm used to spending, but the food was good. The service was mediocre, but good considering they're open "all night" I'm sure the crew was tired and not in the friendliest of moods. It seems They heat up everything with pig fat and well pig, pork, swine is not part of my diet, Especially the lard! The ambience is better than a lot of tacos places in Tijuana so you'll feel pretty much at home if you're visiting from the states.
