This taco truck has saved me from starving many times over the years. I really enjoy the fish tacos, they are basic, but I am a gringo. A friend suggested queso birria tacos. They are great, but at least for me, very messy. They give you soup and chips for free to snack on while you wait. They have a type of Mexican candy that I have not found elsewhere. The people who run the truck are friendly. And judging by the clientele, this place seems to be the real deal. read more

Fresh delicious seafood can be found near the truck entrance to the industrial area exactly where Google maps leads you with this address! Prices are very reasonable and the seafood is good. I had a tostada with fish and one with shrimp. My friend had the fish tacos. They gave us a nice seafood soup as a sort of amuse bouche - it was very good! Even on a hot afternoon! Our orders only took about 5 minutes and then we went and ate in our car. They do have a couple of lawn chairs on the grass where you can sit and eat but they don't really have tables so I can see it being a little messy to eat just in a chair. The ladies working in this food truck were sweet and spoke with English and Spanish. My coworkers were trying to find the truck and got lost - they missed out and went to a mediocre restaurant 10 minutes away. My coworker and I enjoyed our fresh seafood and there are other things I'd like to try when I am next in the area. Note that parking is either in front of or behind the food truck - and there's not a lot of space in either direction. read more

I ordered 2 aguachiles, a campechana & 3 sodas and I paid $60.10 The aguachiles were 70%onion about 6 shrimps, the cup wasn't filled all the way!! I asked for tostadas and crackers the lady said they're in the bag but we only got one tostada per order, and to top it off they were broken!! The aguachiles tasted good but you don't even get enough for the one tostada they give you, definitely not worth what you're paying. read more

Food is amazing and the guy taking your order is extremely polite and helpful. The tacos are he also let us try a cup of the broth from the seafood and beef they cook. Almost like a cup of soup for free. That was extremely good as well. Will be back for sure and highly recommend. read more

This is a food truck off the beaten path close to Southwestern college Otay. I ordered a Birria Quesa taco, shrimp ceviche tostada and Mexican Coke. The total was $14, which is a good price IMO. They also give you a cup of consume (broth) and a bag of tortilla chips. Other places charge extra for this. read more

I was kind of sceptical and eating here because it's in the middle of nowhere and it's a good truck, but WOW! The food was soooooo delicious. We ordered a couple of carne asada burritos and two lengua tacos, mmmmmmmmm. It was so yummy! Oh and the customer service was amazing too! Second time I have stopped here. They always have a good crowd but the food in my opinion could be a lot better. The carne asada is overcooked so it becomes dry. The Tortillas are hard on the ends but break in the middle. The fish tacos weren't good. The prices are high for the food quality. The Chipotle sauce is watered down. After spending $8.10 on a surf and turf burrito I was almost certain I had been duped and overpaid, however I couldn't have been further from the truth. From that first bite of shrimp I was sold. It looked as if it had literally exploded from a fiery blast of flavor and it flawlessly blended with Carne to form the best surf and turf I have ever eaten. Dear Lord, this place is legit! The food truck was easy to find, and there were signs all along the street getting there so you knew you were on the right track. I ordered the surf & turf taco and the birria (my weakness) for around $7.50. The salsa bar had 5 different salsas to choose from - yum. They give you a little container of chips and soup. I've had the free soups at taco trucks before and they are usually good, but this one really stands out! It's wonderfully salty and has old bay seasoning in it. Damn addictive. Really good food. This truck is near my Job so I eat here all the time. Their food is a bit pricier than a Taco shop but it's worth the extra you pay. They have some really good Birria tacos that I like to get with Birria soup in a cup. Their surf and turf tacos are really good as well. Chevice tostadas are delicious and they usually have fish and shrimp. I also like that you can call them ahead of time so when you get there your food is ready. This makes it easier on days when they are really busy. They take credit cards too. read more

This place is a little hard to find so let's be clear -- it is a food truck. It is not a restaurant. I did not figure that out and drove around a couple times in the area without seeing any sign of "restaurant". It is a mostly industrial area with a lot of trucks. Eventually I noticed this special truck and was wondering if "that's it". Well it is. I took a surf-n-turf burrito for $8.10. Very tasty. They do accept credit card via Square Trade. Too bad that I live one hour from here. Otherwise will frequent it more. This is the first time I came down this area (for an interview at the border). One reminder is the east end of the Airway Rd (from La Media Rd) can be closed due to flood. read more

Delicious mariscos! I eat mariscos from a variety of places and trucks but Mariscos Gonzalez is one of my favorites. The simplest fish tacos just taste so much better from the lady that makes them here. The marlin tacos are absolutely flavorful; it's not just chunks of meat but shredded and marinated with their ingredients. One of the best mariscos trucks around, just simply delicious. From their lengua tacos to their shrimp cocktails, everything is tasty.

We were at a training down in the Otay border area and we wanted to stop and get some authentic Mexican food. We we're checking out Yelp and this little food truck came up as being pretty good so we went searching for it. We found it and so will you but don't be frightened by its appearance. We were glad that we gave it a try. The lady who ran the truck was very nice and accommodating. We told her what we wanted in our broken Spanish and she made us great food. While we were deciding what to order she gave us fresh homemade tortilla chips to snack on and followed that with small cups of soup which was homemade and fantastic. We ordered the breaded shrimp burrito, a beef burrito, chicken tacos, and the grilled fish tacos. The food was standalone good and very authentic. But there were also some nice condiments to put on the food as well. Some homemade salsas and some bottled hot sauces that you don't often see on this side of the side of the border. If we are ever in that part of town again I'm going to try the seafood cocktail. read more
