I like how they're often burning incense before class. It really sets the mood. I've never had to use the showers but the areas of the locker room I have accessed is always tidy and neat. This is also the biggest locker room of the 3 I've been to, which is nice when everyone is getting their stuff at the same time. Both studios are a decent size. They can fill up but the instructors are good about encouraging staggering. I also like how the rooms and windows, so you don't feel fully closed off from the outside world. But don't worry! They have blinds so you don't feel like you're on display. While the parking has not been ideal with all the construction, they do their best alert us with changes. And now with that big garage across the street, it's been so much easier! All the instructors I've had are great and very inclusive to all, no matter your experience level, gender, age, etc.

All of the classes are heated, which makes it feel like such a good workout every single time! I always leave feeling like I really did something for my body. Every instructor I've had has been great. They are encouraging, clear with directions, and make the class feel welcoming no matter your level. It is definitely beginner friendly, which made me feel so much more comfortable when I first started. Also, the studio is always very clean and organized. I also really like that they have multiple locations around town, but the Aksarben location is the one I go to the most since it's super close to my home. It makes it easier to stay consistent when it's that convenient! If you're like me and need a class environment to stay motivated, this is such a great place to try. Walking in I was honestly super intimidated -- the machines look terrifyingly confusing and everyone looks like they know what they are doing, so naturally I was shaking in my boots not knowing what to expect. However, upon walking in I was greeted with smiles and they took me to my machine to show me a few of the moves and how to operate it before it started. I had a little card with my name on it welcoming me, a sweat towel, and a free boxed water. I had to buy grippy socks at the front desk because I didn't have any (& didn't know I needed them) that were about $15. They had me placed next to a gal who was a pro at PLNK, and thank goodness they did otherwise I would have been absolutely lost. Once the clock starts, there is no stopping. The instructor is always super clear on giving step by step directions to follow so you can understand even if you've never done it before. There are mirrors all around the room, so worst case scenario you can just look at the reflection & see what others are doing and follow suit. Olivia was my instructor for the first PLNK class ever, and she crushed it (or me? Well.. both). The next morning my abs were so sore I couldn't sit up in bed.. literally. I was d e c e a s e d. I really like Pilate-type movements because it's more gentle on the joints, but I don't like the ease or pace of Pilates which is why I love PLNK so much. It is easy on the joints but also has resistance to grow and tone your muscles & get you in amazing shape in no time. This is the first group class I have ever genuinely enjoyed AND seen results from (I have tried many yall.. so that's a big statement for me). The instructors are sweet and the facility is spotless and clean. You will love your experience here!! Tanya and Olivia are definitely the hardest, I haven't been to all the instructors yet but Meghan is awesome for first timers! Your first class is free, try it out!!! TIPS : - they will probably put you next to someone who is well versed in PLNK so you can have a constant guide next to you. Feel free to ask them to do it as well if you're really concerned! - buy your grippy socks before on Amazon if you want to save a few bucks - watch a few YouTube videos on the megaformer before you take your first class to give you an idea of what you'll be doing - stretch prior to your class - don't be scared, you'll do great!!

If something intimidates you, that means you probably should do it. I'm now about 6 months in & although I have a long ways to go, I'm noticing big results physically, emotionally & mentally. Oh, about 2 months after signing up, the pandemic hit & my apartment gym closed. Guess who stayed open (with rules of course)?? Yep. If it wasn't for this place, I would have been in a bad spot physically & emotionally. PROS:1) amazing coaches who work with you & don't make you feel like a fool when everyone else is bench pressing heavy weight & you just do the bar. They don't make you conform to what everyone else is doing. 2) workouts are always different & you can see the day before what the workout will be (so you can prepare or skip...lol) 3) lots of class times every day of the week! 4) if you can't do something, you will be given an alternative & no one in the class will look at you funny 5) people in class are nice & will help you out 6) definite mood booster. I can have a crappy day & after a workout, my endorphins are kicked in. CONS: 1) you will have days where you will be very sore and/or have trouble walking (is that really a bad thing?!) 2) there might be things that really intimidate you, but you will eventually get over it if you keep showing up 3) you won't start to look like The Rock right away, but you can picture him in your head to motivate you to get through the workout . Depending on your sign up deal, you might be able to get a free pair of gloves! This is a HUGE steal, especially considering most gyms make you borrow a pair that smells like it's never been washed. The owner, Frank, is also incredibly friendly and has a great story about his start with kickboxing. Based on the first class and overall experience, I can already see myself becoming a member. Looking forward to taking many more classes in the future!

It's a super nice community of people and the trainers are really welcoming. Frank (the owner/trainer) has a really fascinating story about how he decided to buy the company himself! Mason also is a professional boxer and gives good advice and real life situations of how this workout helps. Brittany also does a fun Boot Camps to break up boxing everyday. I've been to other classes through Class Pass and TKO is by far the most welcoming. They take newbies through a good startup class to go over all the punches and kicks. They focus 100% on form to prevent injuries making this class pretty safe for newbies. Overall, I've been getting a great workout from them and will continue to come back!
