This is a great studio! I jump back and forth between their locations depending on the schedule. Like the other locations, this place is nice and clean. I like how they're often burning incense before class. It really sets the mood. I've never had to use the showers but the areas of the locker room I have accessed is always tidy and neat. This is also the biggest locker room of the 3 I've been to, which is nice when everyone is getting their stuff at the same time. Both studios are a decent size. They can fill up but the instructors are good about encouraging staggering. I also like how the rooms and windows, so you don't feel fully closed off from the outside world. But don't worry! They have blinds so you don't feel like you're on display. While the parking has not been ideal with all the construction, they do their best alert us with changes. And now with that big garage across the street, it's been so much easier! All the instructors I've had are great and very inclusive to all, no matter your experience level, gender, age, etc. read more

This has been my go to workout studio in Omaha! Lots of classes and locations all around town. I enjoy that instructors put their own spin on things and do classes featuring certain artists or themes! Blackstone locations has a free parking lot with validation which makes it very convenient. Sculpt classes are a great workout and reminiscent of corepower. My only complaint would be that sometimes they allow too many people to register for the classes and they get too full. read more

I have been taking classes at power life through class pass, and it has been amazing! I am new to the yoga and barre world, but it has been very beginner friendly. I love the variety classes they offer, including power sculpt and power barre, which combine yoga, cardio, and strength training all while being, low impact. The classes are heated but only to 85-92 degrees, nothing too crazy. Parking can be a hassle at this location since there is a lot of construction directly in front of the building, but they do give validated free parking in a lot. read more

Staff was extremely welcoming helpful. Gave me a tour of the facility when I got there. Everyone was also super nice, not stuff or uppity at all. Took a Yoga 2 with meditation class. I haven't actually been in Power Life but an instructor lead a class at the Cottonwood Hotel and if their classes are anything like this one I would definitely recommend stopping in to flow. Our 40 minute class was lead by an energetic instructor who was mindful of everyones skill level. It was easy to follow a long and she gave clear directions and I know myself and the girls I came with felt really relaxed and stretched after the class. There are a lot of great benefits to having instructors who not only lead by help guide new beginners. It's across from the hotel so it's in a great neighborhood and they have a lot of class offerings to check out. read more

Im very medium on this yoga studio, would do a 3.5/5 if you could do half stars. The first class I did was Power 2 with Rachel B and it was 5/5, great class. Peak pose was hurdler, I would buy a membership if every class had been this high quality. Otherwise, I did Power 1.5 and it was more like a 0.5 class, peak pose was runners lunge. Power sculpt was so-so, okay workout but nothing impressive. Hot yoga was decent, but the transitions between poses were super awkward or nonexistent. Generally speaking, nice studio with very friendly and kind staff. They are big on community building and ask you to speak to the other yogis in class at the beginning which is different from what I'm used to , but nice if you are looking for a community feel. read more

Rachel B specially is the best in my opinion and very structured in her classes with a pace that is not too fast to kill you and not too slow to get bored and fall asleep! New studio that opened up in Blackstone next to the Switch offering power yoga, barre, and sculpt classes Highlights: - BEAUTIFUL studio: brand new, floors are slightly padded, good sizes - Heated classes (85-99F) - Music plays during class - Variety of hand weight sizes - Good schedule (early AM through evening) - App for easy scheduling - Instructors putting effort into learning peoples names and building community - $10 deal for 1 week unlimited classes Room for improvement: - Inexperienced instructors. Caryn Lee, Rachel, and Michaela were good, but the others are brand new and need more time to settle in - Very basic, repetitive series. Lots of sun salutations but did not see much complexity or variety. We ran the same sculpt class all week and by the end I think I could've taught the class. May be because the instructors are new Overall, this is a good studio but won't be for everyone. If you're a beginner this could be a good place for you. They definitely overindex with early-20s med students. I'm in my late 20s and felt relatively out of place. If you have been doing barre or power yoga for a while, there may be other studios in town that are a better fit (OPY, Barre Code). I'd be interested in checking this place out again after they've been open for a few months. If they joined CLASSPASS I would be interested in cherry-picking instructors/classes and keeping tabs on this place, but not sure a membership is right for me read more

Powerlife is seriously top-notch! Great workouts for all levels and all intensities. I was never much of a yogi before attending powerlife but now I'm hooked. From yoga sculpt to power yoga, barre class, hot yoga, and even guided meditation, there is a class for everyone! Currently, Powerlife has three locations, one at Blackstone, Aksarben, and One Pacific Place, which means that there are convenient locations for all Omaha folks! The classes are usually 45min and no longer than an hour, and most of the classes are heated. Powerlife makes it super simple to sign up using their app and offers many free classes for those who do not want. I have been looking for a new yoga studio ever since moving to Omaha, and I am so happy I found Power Life! I usually take their Power 2 class (highest level), and it is usually a good challenge/workout. I can not recommend this place enough, every class is fantastic & all the teachers are brilliant (but most importantly kind). They make sure to guide you on form rather than just barking the names of poses at you like some other yoga studios . I am obsessed with the new Aksarben location! The instructors are awesome and I get a great workout every time. I do wish they had an earlier or later class as sometimes it can be hard for me to get there but the instructors and the people make it worth it. I can't recommend this gym/studio enough!! read more
