He came early to check out the restaurant, had a final check in with me. We starting taking photos right away. Brandon noted the excellent lighting outside and switched up some inside photos for outside to take advantage of the lighting. Loved the outside photos! I've never worked with a photographer and I wasn't sure how to pose so Brandon made me feel at ease and made suggestions. I felt comfortable. If you don't feel comfortable it will show in your photos. There were certain photos I wanted to be captured and Brandon listened , remembered and captured them. He took photos of everything. Location set up, adorable couples together, fun, silly groups of guests. Me everywhere with everyone! I have photos with all my guests- I don't think he missed one person.! It was fantastic how many fun photos Brandon took. What I really thought was cool was that Brandon blended into the party. He followed me through the party and took photos as I was greeting guests and then he blended right back into the background. He is personable and just a nice guy. There were several guest that already knew Brandon either as a friend or through his business. I had requested a group photo and Brandon had a trick up his sleeve- a drone with a camera! It took photos of the group outside (85 people) and a video then panned out for an amazing aerial view. After doing some research, we found that most of the samples we saw from other videographers in the 1-2 grand range probably wasn't going to get us the quality that would make us happy. Then, I stumbled upon Jmarcmedia's website. From the minute we talked to Jonathan and Karen, we had a great feeling about them as they were very professional, inviting, and friendly to work with. You can tell Jonathan has a passion for his work and really cares to do the best work possible. If you look at their wedding video samples, they're very impressive. We also appreciated that they were upfront with information on their services as well as pricing. After meeting with Jonathan and Karen a few more times, we appreciated that they were more than accommodating in terms of where we could meet us in planning and that they would try to be flexible with us on logistics for the wedding. (e.g. meeting the bride & groom in different places, then meeting together, etc.) Overall, their approach in working with us was excellent. We really felt like the they would make the day and video special for us. On the day of our wedding, they were really helpful and natural to work with, never getting in the way of any activities during the festivities. Euan is a rare breed of photographer - not only is he talented as a photographer and editor (trust me, we needed the editing ;) but he is also personable. We're not actors by any stretch of the imagination, but you need to be able to pose if you want some good pictures taken. Long story short - he made the entire evening remarkably easy for us. Something our friends had warned us about was the amount of time certain photographers take to turn our pictures around. We had our pictures turned around to us in hours. Also, Euan spent no less than 6 hours with us (YES, 6 HOURS!). He drove around with us all over the city, from SOMA to Pacific Heights to the Marina and we got the best pictures taken. The best part - his prices are really affordable. All in all, I couldn't be more happy with the work that Euan did. He is a hidden gem of a photographer and I strongly recommend working with him.
