I must admit that I am quite ignorant when it comes to shopping for antique/vintage/salvaged items…read more(and not very interested either), but my in-laws are the masters. I know this store is legit because (1) it's their favorite antique store and (2) this store appeals to even me. Imagine the buyer and visual merchandiser of an Anthropologie store left the retailer and started collecting things in their own private shop. This shop would be their creation. The layout feels intentional and thoughtful (important for a non-digger like me) while still providing some of those hidden treasure-type moments for those that like to dig through the old junk (my in-laws). Thomasville is a fun place to visit for the day, and this shop simply has to be on your list.

The lady behind the counter was so nice and helpful. But Uhaul is terrible. I made a reservation…read moreonline for a 10' truck. Wanted a pickup location close by. Reservation was generated and the pickup location was Cheaper and Better on Jackson St. The lady behind the counter said she doesn't have any trucks and hasn't had any for weeks. So she gives me the phone numbers and locations of 3 other Uhaul rentals. Two no answer and the third didn't have any trucks. Uhaul has really gone downhill for the last several years.
