The staff were all nice but WOW the wait time was ridiculous (2.5+ hrs with an empty waiting room). We made an appt and from the time we entered the building (5:51 pm) til the time we saw the doctor (7:48 pm) it was 2 hours! It was a Sunday evening with no one else in the waiting room and 2 families left while we were in the waiting room. All we needed was some scripts and a shot administered which took an additional 20 minutes. By the time we were handed our paperwork and walked out it had been 2.5 hrs total. Polite staff but due to the wait times alone I would prefer to not give this place our family's business. read more

The Good: The staff is pleasant and professional The waiting room is ok The prescription was fill at the location-big plus The Bad: THE WAIT. We scheduled a time to be seen on line and still waited well over an hour to go to an examination room where we waited to be seen. Unfortunately we had to return twice for further treatment (which was appropriate). But that meant we had to wait again...twice! Example-4:00 appointment we arrived early to be safe...sent to examination room at 4:40. Still waiting at 5:07. Still waiting at 5:20. Still waiting at 5:30...5:40... They either need more rooms or more staff. Not planning to return. read more

My mother was visiting from Florida and had a sudden breathing issue- thankfully the amazing staff at Total Access Urgent Care were there for her and we had top notch service and medical help from start to finish! The front desk staff, the nurses, medical staff and doctors all went above and beyond to provide care, comfort and ask the questions to get to the root of her medical issue and try things that her previous doctors hadn't considered! I was so impressed with the whole experience - which is one you hope to never have to have- that I will be recommending this place to all the people I know who are trying to avoid emergency rooms. I am thankful they helped my mom quickly and she is recovering nicely back home in Florida. read more

The absolute longest wait ever. We checked in online and we were 5th in line. 3 hours later, we are finally at #2. Ridiculous.

They have the longest wait time I've ever experienced in a place that has "Urgent" in the name. They make you check in and go wait at home with your injury, but 2 hours later they've only seen 2 patients. Inexcusably bad service. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. I am covered in poison ivy head to toe with the major concern of this going into my vagina. I woke on Saturday morning covered tried to get through it to see doctor on Monday. Well Monday was 4th of July so I signed into the waitlist for TACU and waited 4 1/2 hrs till I got the go ahead and come in to be turned away as a self pay patient due to having a balance of $99 in which I offered to pay more than half to be seen as an emergency and was still denied treatment because I didn't have $35 extra dollars on me. NOW IM BEYOND COVERED AND IT IS UP INSIDE OF MY BODY AND IN MY MOUTH. I just needed a steroid for help. This place is beyond helping anyone without insurance. Even if you give them your last dollar it still wouldn't be enough to get help. I will NEVER trust the hands of money hungry health facilities and I'm damn glad I didn't take the offer to work there as I would be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed to call myself a TACU employee. You should take care of anyone that comes in with an emergency no matter what their bill is and definitely if willing to pay more than half. The billing bitch behind the phone apparently makes the calls. I will be speaking to upper management as I may now be hospitalized because of how allergic to this I am. For fucks same assholes it's in my vagina but that wasn't mentioned to billing. Just that it was on my thighs. Not on hands feet wrist face or vagina. Just thighs mentioned is all. The severity for those who are highly allergic like myself can be hospitalized and you all turned away a sick person over $35 not being able to be paid. This is the second time I have used Total Access Urgent Care on Main Street, Ofallon Missouri. The wait time is long to be seen and this is when you are told to come to the site, 2 hours. First I had to get on line at 6am sign up for the wait list. I signed in at 6am and in 2 minutes I was number 21 in line. First time I had to wait for a doctor to come over from another site because of short personal. This time my son needed a rapid Covid test BUT since my son uses State health insurance the cost would be $200 on site. Our medical system is broken. read more

I just have to keep checking the wait list for openings i was told. But i cannot join the wait list from the office. I went to Total Access in July, the day after a spinal injection for pain. I had headache and vomiting. I was given an IV and told I would receive medication for nausea and for pain. I advised the staff NOT to give me Zofran. I gave great detail as to the severe reaction, and anaphylactic shock I had in the past. The staff indicated that I was wrong, that it was Compazine I am allergic too (also correct). My companion and I told them at least 5 times not to give it to me. They did. I was given Benadryl, and EPI, but I began to swell in the lips, became short of breath and had chest pain. I was told it was a panic attack. I believe I was given EPI again, and I remember saying I was having a heart attack (I had never had heart issues). I believe someone called for a crash cart. An ambulance was called,and it was confirmed in the ER that the Zofran reaction was in my medical records. A cardiologist confirmed the next day that I had a heart attack, caused by the medications administered, and not by my heart! I spent 3 days in the hospital, and owe thousands because of this error. This story could have been a whole lot worse! I advise caution at this location. read more
