I was scheduled to have a baby this morning and my husband was having some concerning symptoms and we were worried he might have pneumonia. We were able to get him the first spot in line (at 3am) and when he showed up at 8am, the entire place was dark and he had to look for someone who worked there. Only one person was in the building and it was a front desk attendant. They told him that they were indeed the only person there and there was no other providers or even nurses in the building. This is UNACCEPTABLE. He was transferred to another location because he was unable to be seen because no one decided it was a good idea to show up to work on time. I will be reporting this to corporate as this is not the first bad experience we have had at this location. We will NEVER go back and will always opt for a further drive to receive better care in the future. read more

This is literally the worst place to come for urgent care. You have to have an appointment to even come as a walk-in then I took my son there for an ear infection and they were an hour and a half past the time for the appointment and his ear drum busted while sitting in the waiting room. I told them several times he was in a lot of pain but for some reason they only have one doctor available. Once you finally get in an exam room you have to wait another hour to be seen this is absolutely ridiculous I'd rather go to the ER. And the Admin people just sit there and say we don't have a room yet there is nothing I can do sorry!!!!!! read more

Went in to have 2 splinters taken out, pretty easy procedure but they just could muster up the energy at 7:15pm to remove, was told they were to deep and had to work themselves out, one of the two is pushing the skin up easy to see... Came down with some sort of ailment. Was basically told yeah you certainly are sick and was told to wait out the symptons I was experiencing for two days. Upon re-arrival two days later the woman at the front desk was inattentive and rude to both myself and my partner who was speaking on my behalf since I am so ill I cannot see straight. Asked for a plastic cup for water while waiting to be seen and after 40 minutes never received cup while she just gossiped with her friend. read more

I really appreciate TAUC, specifically this Ofallon location, I've never had a bad experience. The care staff is always so friendly and compassionate. Any time I've gone I've felt the care provided was above and beyond and leave feeling better than when it came in. I've gone to other urgent cares and not had that type of experience, or felt looked over or rushed through and they do the bare minimum but here they make sure they do everything they can to get you feeling better. read more

Horrible experience don't waste your time. I was diagnosed with a broken arm in December and was charged for a bunch of extras (temporary cast etc). Was not near broken and now I had to call and talk to 3 people to ask the bill be written off! They told me that it was definitely broke- uh no it wasn't and went through suffering with a temporary cast on for three days. Go to the ER next time! read more

Needing to renew a DOT medical exam, I found I would be near this office on a day when I would have 2 hours of me time. I made an appointment online for after work, worked an extra hour and barely made it in time. They made me wait 40 minutes outside in 93 degrees even though I had an appointment. The medical care I received here was fine. Long wait, but whatever. However, after my appointment, I have been bombarded with requests to take a survey regarding my experience and leave reviews. I have been suddenly receiving new spam emails and phone calls from various companies. Whoever they have hired to send out these surveys is either a spam company or selling your personal information to them. I wanted to email or call them regarding this directly, but that is impossible. You cannot email or call them as a company outside of the billing department. So I'm putting it here. This is my 3rd experience with a total access urgent care and it was just as great as the others. I took my 6 year old son in (unfortunately less than an hour before they closed) and the entire staff was great with him and my family. They spoke to him as well to help him be comfortable with everything that was happening and I never once felt rushed even though his care took them past closing. This is most certainly the place we will go if the need arises again. I highly recommend this company and location! read more

I went to the Wentzville TAUC with a painful thumb. They took an x-ray and said it was a bad fracture and sold me a huge splint to wear and referred me to a surgeon. He said there was no fracture at all. So I was charged the bill at TAUC and the horrible splint and a surgeon bill for no reason. I was a radiologic tech for 30 years at BARNES JEWISH HOSP in St. Louis MO. So I know to go get the x-ray report from TAUC. There was no Radiologist reading and they said they did not use a Radiologist. A nurse practitioner read it and a dr. signed off on it. My daughter is a nurse practitioner and she said she was not trained to read x-rays. This should shut them down. Do not go there it is kindergarten medicine. read more

So below was my original review which apparently never got finalized. I have been here since that review with good results; however, today was another story altogether... Since we're going into a holiday weekend, I investigated my options. I visited the website and found an online check in option - Perfect! It was about 3:15 at the time so I chose a 4:40 arrival time; plenty of pad, right? I was contacted immediately via text and informed that I would be notified when to come in. Sure enough at 4:20 I received a text: "Hello, it's time to show up at approximately 4:40 pm. Check with the front desk when you arrive, at least 10 mins before your visit time." Alrighty then, everything must be running on schedule. I arrived around 4:30 and was in a room within 5 minutes, where I sat. And sat. And sat. After a brief complaint to the desk nurse that I needed to pick up my kids by 6:00, I was finally seen at 5:15. To the staff's credit they empathized and once I was seen they did their best to get me out of there fast. Everyone explained how busy they were, etc. I KNOW YOU'RE BUSY. THATS WHY I CHECKED IN ONLINE 90 MINUTES AHEAD OF TIME. People who check in online in advance get to cut in line. That's the point of online check in. Furthermore, if you know you're busy don't send me a text telling me that it's time to show up if you're running 40 minutes late. Instead text me and let me know you're busy and give me a new arrival time with an option to reschedule. Several staff members attempted to explain the "logic" behind the online (non)check in; but the best explanation I received was "I know. I explained it to them over and over...". Hopefully "them" will read this review and get the message. I feel sorry for the staff because they do a great job and aren't responsible for the deceptive, misleading online "check in" process that ultimately leads to frustration for the customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been to TAUC on Mexico in St. Charles and had always had good results. This new location is close to my job and I was interested to see if they have he same standard of care in O'Fallon as they do in St. Charles. I was delighted to find out they do. I went on my lunch hour, a time when I was expecting them to be busy. I was greeted immediately and asked to sit aside, as there was one patient in front of me. Despite that, I was processed and let to an exam room in under 5 minutes. After a brief wait in the exam room, I was seen by and EMT and then a doctor. I felt that my symptoms were thoroughly evaluated and aggressively treated. I love that the TAUC loctions have on site pharmacies so you can leave with the medication you need in your hand. All told, I was i & out in 30-40 minutes. I would not hesitate to visit this location again. read more

This was my second experience with a Total Access Urgent Care. My daughter had a bad collision in softball, so we came in for neck X-rays. Our experience here was fantastic. No wait time to get into a room, once in the room we had a short wait. Nothing like the long waits in an ER. They ended up doing a CT scan (everything came back fine) I felt like the care my daughter received was very thorough. I love how they have everything available right there, we even left with a prescription. I highly recommend Total Access. read more

I went there on 9/14 with a case of cellulitis. The doctor refused to touch me and told me to go to an ER. Later I received a bill of over $600...after insurance...for the privilege of having them tell me they will do nothing for me. I take that back...they gave me some Tylenol. At the ER they gave me antibiotics and sent me home. I was fine, except for a huge ER bill I really didn't need, and a huge Urgent Care bill they did nothing to earn. So unless you have a very, very, VERY minor problem they won't be afraid to treat, or need a dose of Tylenol, don't bother. It's pretty pricey for them to tell you to go somewhere else. read more

I work a busy schedule and my medical Dr is virtually impossible to get in to..went there today (Saturday 11.4.17) I checked in online .. arrived .. walked right in.. they have a full staff .. None of which I waited literally more than 30 secs to see.. I had a diagnosis, X-rays, a treatment and my medication within 45 mins of walking in the door. We walked in and we're immediately escorted back to a treatment room where someone quickly came in to address concerns and take initial vitals. Within minutes the DR was in helpful, asked if we had questions after diagnosis, and had my daughter taken care of immediately. Pro: was checked in very quickly, but no one else was in the waiting room. The nurse taking my vitals was very friendly and professional. The over weight Dr. (do I really want to trust a Dr. that can't manage his own weight?) was NOT professional. Was asking me questions about my job and work place that had nothing to do with my symptoms. As soon as his attitude changed when he could tell I was getting frustrated I left. 3 days later I still have not been notified of my urine test results. I was told I MAY need an ultrasound but they don't have one at that location, they do have one on Manchester Rd though. Then the subject was changed. This was my first and LAST visit to any urgent care. I will definitely be disputing my bill here if I receive one. read more

Been here 2 times. The first time we waited over an hour in the room for someone to come in. Total visit was over 2 hours. They said my daughter broke her foot and pointed out the suspect point. Ortho said it was broke but in completely different spot. Gave her a boot that didn't fit and her toes stuck out 1.5" and had to get another from the Ortho. The next visit we waited for 30 min after going to a room for someone to come in which was initially the tech. This time I used the online reservation thinking that I would get faster service. I understand this is an urgent care and many variables, but just seems like a very long wait. Did I mention there was only one other patient here on this 2nd visit? read more

I do not feel like my needs were met at this clinic. I was given a diagnosis that I was later told by their director was not correct. I went back a second time and was given the same diagnosis. I spoke with their owner about my concerns and he offered to give me a credit for my next visit. I told him I would not be returning because I did not think the care I received was adequate and his exact words to me were, "If you are not coming back, then I am not inclined help you." That is SO rude and unprofessional. He told me sometimes they just don't get it right. I have never heard a medical professional say that. Of course I don't want to go back. The level of care I received was not adequate and he way he spoke to me was completely out of line. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. I will say their director, Heidi, was very nice and seemed like she really cared and the people that work in the clinic were friendly but the owner was nothing but rude to me. read more
