I came in for lip filler on my 56th birthday as a cosmetic injection virgin! I was pretty nervous based on a friend telling me how much it was gonna hurt. But I gotta say, this was just a lovely experience all around. Now, the building is kinda tucked away amidst a bunch of other businesses and the parking lot is a bit janky and cramped, but I still didn't have any issues finding the place or getting a spot to park, even at 12:30pm during lunch time. The facility itself is immediately inside the main door and is spotless and beautifully decorated in creams and pale pinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office staff were friendly and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was barely a couple minutes wait till I was called in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nurse Anna was my aesthetician. I explained I was concerned about the discomfort but even more so that I was gonna leave there looking like one of the "Real Housewives" with balloon lips. I was ADAMENT that I DID NOT want that. Andy also gently tapped on my knee to help distract me as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And it didn't really hurt THAT bad! It's not something I'd want to experience weekly lol, but definitely tolerable two or three times a year in exchange for the beautiful results Anna provided. Besides, Mom always said, "Beauty is pain, Darci. Beauty is pain." I actually got a little verklempt, cuz Anna gave me back my 17-year-old lips! They were still MY lips, just brought to life again. Subtle and perfect. The lady is an ARTISTE! I'd definitely let her stick me again! For cosmetic injections, I want a clean facility that's legit, whose staff are licensed, experienced and provide not only what you ask for but do so without the Beverly Hills snobbery. It took me a while to write this... Dr. S was very nice, but as I reflect and after consulting with other medical professionals, it's clear that I should not have been recommended to use the emsculpt machine given my BMI. Now that I have stopped going to total body aesthetics after spending upwards of $5000 I have a stubborn layer of muscle that sits above my fat. During my time visiting the studio I was also prescribed phentermine, which is a prescription drug that suppresses your appetite by slowing down your metabolism something I am still dealing with to this day. I was an earlier customer evident by the fact that I did not sign a medical release until the last Emsculpt I received (that means I received the procedure at least four times without signing a medical release). I would not recommend going here unless you are 5 pounds away from your target weight and unable to drop those 5 pounds. Just a couple updates based on the response (unsure if I came early in the business establishing their practices) I had 2 Emsculpt treatments prior to being weighed or measured so there is no way they were even aware of my bmi, which was above 35. read more
