I have waited over a…read morehalf hour just to get in to have my vitals checked whoever is doing the scheduling needs to be spoken to. This is ridiculous! They happens every time I come they are always late always super slow. The Doctors are fine but the staff they have in place are probably the worst I've ever experienced. It's time to find a new doctor. I would not recommend this place to anyone they need a management change cause who ever they have is ineffective.

Reception staff were very nice & so was the medical assistant. After being seen by the medical assistant, I waited over 1 hour before being seen by Dr. Banks. When she walked in, she quickly introduced herself, told me I was pregnant, handed me a sheet with my estimated due date & told me I would need to schedule a follow up appointment for bloodwork + a meeting with an educator to go over prenatal care. The whole interaction was about 2 minutes before she dismissed herself from the room. She did not ask me any questions regarding my pregnancy so far - I have never felt so unseen before. This is my second pregnancy so thankfully I know what to expect. What bothers me is the "quality" care this medical office claims to give. That was horrible service, I would definitely not recommend this place. Visalia OBGYN & their quality care is truly missed. It's unfortunate that some women have to downgrade & experience this kind of care. I will definitely not be coming back.

This place takes the cake for being the WORST. If i could give this place a 0 i would happily do so. My first appointment to confirm my pregnancy was ok, the second appointment to be set up with a doctor and go over medical history was TERRIBLE. I was assigned an OB who i was told accepted my insurance. I didn't question anything because as a patient that isn't my job. Only to be notified when I arrived for the appointment that he did not. I was told by the incredibly rude receptionist that i could not pay for the appointment out of pocket and would have to come back 5 hrs from now or not be seen for another month or so. I waited around for 5 hours because (i live over an hour away) where I was then assigned to the OB Dr.banks. She walked into the room. Did not make eye contact, did not address the concern i had and then walked out without saying anything to my husband or I. I was incredibly frustrated with how unprofessional she was so i did not schedule my ultrasound that day. A few days later i decided to try and schedule the ultrasound. WHAT A JOKE. I was pointed in every direction but the one to get an ultrasound. Every single person was rude and misleading. No one had any clue what was going on. I tried for over a week and a half. Calling every single day sometimes numerous times a day. On the 13th day of trying i got a call saying i could go to get an ultrasound at an office 15 minutes away from me. When i called said office to schedule the appointment. I was informed they don't even do ultrasounds. That was my last straw so I went else where to get the care i deserve. Please don't waste your time here.

I went about 3 days without my medication and my blood pressure began to spike. With my doctor being in the bay area and me being in Tulare, I could not physically see my doctor. To my pleasant surprise, my visit went very smooth. From filling out the forms, to addressing my needs for a prescription. The doctor gave me a prescription for 30 days (plenty of time to see my primary doctor). I was in and out in about 45 minutes. My prescriptions were ready at CVS within the hour. Care quality seemed on point. No issues, no problems.

This is a walk in clinic but you may make an appointment. 5 stars for the staff and Mr. Contreras but sadly 3 stars for wait times even with an appointment. But it does beat the emergency room if you're not in a life or death situation. All my prescriptions get sent right over to my pharmacy and I pick them up in an hour. All in all if you don't have a regular Dr. Give them a shot here. Keep in mind you may spend your whole morning in the waiting room.

Each time an automated answer says that the receptionist is helping others and either to wait on the line for the next available receptionist or to press zero for a receptionist. if you wait on the line, you get the identical message two more times and are then disconnected. If you press zero, you are disconnected immediately. For all I know, this clinic may provide the best medical care in the world, but their phone service is abysmal, and anyone attempting to contact them by phone would seem to be doing nothing other than wasting time.

I arrived at 1:50 PM for a 2:00 PM appointment as a new patient. Unfortunately, the front desk didn't actually check my information or verify my file until 2:20 PM, which is when they told me my insurance PCP was still assigned elsewhere. Anthem Blue Cross was absolutely amazing and managed to switch my PCP over the phone by 2:25 PM. The front desk initially told me they could still take me in since it was resolved, but then they changed their mind and said I had to reschedule anyway. It was a bummer because if they had just checked my paperwork right when I walked in, I definitely could have been seen. As far as the atmosphere goes, it definitely has a clinic vibe and isn't the most updated facility, though there are a few newer structures inside. The waiting area was clean and there were very few patients waiting, but the lighting is incredibly dim. I don't know why it is so much dimmer than most facilities I've been to....it has kind of a moody feel, and I wish it were a bit brighter. That being said, I really appreciate how accommodating and friendly everyone was despite the scheduling mix-up. I also love their automated system...I got text messages right away confirming everything after making my appointment. Because the staff was so nice and the system is great, I'm giving them four stars. I shall see how it is in the back when I have my first actual appointment with the doctor, and I will update this review soon!

You are left in limbo on the phone, never knowing if anyone is even available in that department. There is no real person to put you on hold or check why the phone has been ringing in that department for over 20+ minutes. No live help!!! Your time is not important to them- that is the message that businesses send when a live person is not available to assist you. Kaweah Health's motto has something to do with "...excellence..." I would include the full quote but their website takes forever to load too! It's not like it's full of helpful information, so don't even bother trying to get help there either. Unfortunately, my son's podiatrist, Dr. Nelson transferred into this office. I have a busy family and having to stay in "ringing phone Never land " all afternoon to simply reschedule is not okay with me. His other office used the same type of phone service and I had to stop by the office to talk to a live person. Now his office is out of our way and I refuse to be charged because they can't hire a real person to answer the phone. Definitely checking into switching doctors.
