The staff is really nice and quick the doctors are good and they are open on the weekends

it seems to be impossible to reach this business by telephone to ask whether or not what k need is available through them . I called them four times. Each time an automated answer says that the receptionist is helping others and either to wait on the line for the next available receptionist or to press zero for a receptionist. if you wait on the line, you get the identical message two more times and are then disconnected. If you press zero, you are disconnected immediately. For all I know, this clinic may provide the best medical care in the world, but their phone service is abysmal, and anyone attempting to contact them by phone would seem to be doing nothing other than wasting time. read more

I made an appointment this morning 9/1/2021 to be seen in your clinic for a COVID-19 test after seeing on your website that you offer free COVID-19 testing for uninsured patients. Upon arriving I was greeted by a very nice woman in Dark blue scrubs who went ahead and had to be paperwork and then asked me if I had insurance, and I let her know that I do not have insurance and that their website showed the free COVID-19 testing for uninsured patients. She then told me that they no longer offer the free COVID-19 testing. I asked her why does it say on your website that you do have free COVID-19 testing for uninsured patients? I was then interrupted by the individual in light blue scrubs that was incredibly rude to me and demeaning and did not want to hear anything I had to say and she turned me away. Needless to say she humiliated me at such a terrible time experiencing the effects and brutally awful symptoms of COVID-19. The other woman then said don't you think we should give her a test since the website does state that we have free testing and the woman in light blue scrubs immediately said no there's nothing we can do for you unless you have $300 to pay for your test. I would like to end this review with, is this the way that you want your patience treated? Is it your intention to showcase false advertisements? Bait and switching? Employee rude and employees that show no empathy and responsibility for your false advertisement? The ladies at the front desk are fun to speak with, but are really slow with every day tasks. I visited this urgent care over a month ago to run some tests and didn't get the results until a few weeks later. The lady at the front desk didn't bother to call me and inform me of my results because the doctor already prescribed me some medicine that should have taken care of the issue. However, it is definitely necessary to disclose results to patients regardless. AND the doctor prescribed me antibiotics to take "just in case". I didn't fill the prescription, and thank god I didn't. I didn't need the antibiotics and it is not good to take them when you don't need to! Please don't come here if you are trying to know what's going on with you immediately. read more

It's flu season so undoubtedly the wait was long. Anywhere you go during this time I would expect a lengthy wait time. Giving them five stars as they have excellent customer service. All staff was attentive, thoughtful and made our visit pleasant. read more

Came on a Saturday, there sign and website states they open at 9am I waited at the parking lots until 10am and no one showed up.. very unprofessional had to head over to the one on Hillman since they open at 10am. read more

I went in yesterday 1/15/2020 and currently have double coverage insurance, they claimed my private wasn't active, and my medical was on a different plan, I logged in on my private where it shows active and not inactive and still wasn't able to be seen, I'm not sure what billing system you guys use but I've been here plenty of times with no issue. With the same insurances as well. Spent 10 minutes on the phone with my insurance where they said Im in fact covered! You guys need to update your billing, whatever network you guys go through this is ridiculous. read more

This is by far the best urgent care around! We had called to find out some specifics of the office. Ashlee was very helpful and even told us she would call us when they weren't so busy so my sick child could wait in the comfort of our home instead of their waiting room. She called and got us right in. The doctor was thorough in their examination and was very helpful in getting my son the medical attention he needed. This staff was all around very helpful and the best! I highly recommend this urgent care above any other in the area. Terrible service. The girls at the front desk are rude. No pt care. no bedside manner. The medical assistants should not be working with the public if they hate their job so much. they send the doctor in to see patients that checked in after you.. how does that make sense. I wouldn't waste my time going there. Worst experience in a medical setting I have ever been too. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would!! It's gross, small and smells like smoke!!!, with people coming out of the seams!!! It's a 5x 10ft room!!! If you weren't sick when you walked in you will be by the time you walk Out!!! Picture the DMV but everyone is sick!!! I can't say if the Dr.s are any good because we didn't make it that far. You better be on medi-cal or rich because they don't take HMO!!! Even if they did I still would have walked out after taking a look around!!! read more

Tulare Urgent Care does not accept all major insurances.United Healthcare AARP Secure Horizons Medicare HMO is considered a major insurance.I was told by the receptionist that they do not accept any HMO'S.No problem,I went online and found Plush.Com.I set up a video conference with a licensed physician who is in Bakersfield,Ca.From appointment to picking up prescription at Walgreens it took me 30 minute.I have called United Healthcare and made a complaint.My next call will be to Medicare to lodge a complaint.There is never any good reason for an urgent care to turn away people that are senior citizens who are on Medicare. read more
