Their tent job is OK. I feel that some of its false information when I did my BMW. It was great when I did my Tesla. I am a returning customer to Total Eclipse, they in the past did my Honda Accord Sport with Ceramic Window Tint and even did my wife's Infiniti QX50. They did an awesome job on both vehicles and never had a problem for years. Now jump to September, 13th, 2022, I scheduled an appointment for my Dodge Ram truck to be done around 0930 hours and again I cannot say it enough, they did an outstanding job. They legit out beat a price I received from for example say Precision. I have a close friend who knows this Precision Example as being top notch, I will say no I beg to differ. I called out of curiosity and was given a quote and the guy legit attempted to sell me on Ceramic Tint and claiming it takes out all the UV Rays and Heat. Well it does to a point, but Total Eclipse will be straight with you and not hide behind lies or fibs, they tell you what works and what doesn't. Total Eclipse for the same tint I requested gave a far more fair quote than Precision example. What I do not understand is how anyone can give them a low rating as they tell you up front keep your receipt as this tint is a lifetime warranty and if anything goes wrong just return and they will fix it. I still have my Honda receipt from back in 2017 lol before I sold my car and the business stated they did not want the receipt, so I said ok lol your loss on the tint. They've been in business for 23 years and, so far they've done not only my vehicles, but some of my Law Enforcement buddies vehicles, friends vehicles, families vehicles, and even a rep I know from a grocery store who took my advice to go here. If they do something wrong they will try to fix it or make it right, but you have to give them the chance and schedule a date and time. I personally had to cancel once due to my kids, but they re-scheduled me and treated me right. read more

So I originally wrote below about an issue with my windshield tint. I spoke with John today at Total Eclipse who apologized for not getting back with me because of being out of town. And I apologized to him for not contacting them first before posting my concern. We came to an agreement that hopefully both are satisfied with. Bottom line, as I mentioned below Total Eclipse did a fantastic job with my tint. Not a single bubble, line, speck of dirt or anything. It can't be easy on them in these economic times but we need them to thrive. And learn from my mistake, communication is the key if you think something isn't quite right! _____________________________________________________________________________ The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend I took my Honda CR-V to Total Eclipse for tint. The tint is very nice but... When I got into my car afterwards, the windshield wipers wouldn't turn off. My first thought was that maybe the windshield tint was messing with a rain sensor. With my Honda dealer only a mile away, I went there to ask them how to recalibrate or whatever. My Service guy looked at it and after researching suggested that maybe some water from the windshield tint got into the wiring. He suggested letting it dry naturally but because the wipers wouldn't stop even with the engine turned off, I left the car at the dealership so they could pull the battery to keep from draining it. Tuesday late afternoon our Service guy said they still wouldn't stop and being over 3 days later they recommend pulling the lower dash to evaluate. I authorized the $149 charge for this and the result was that the fuse box had a large amount of water in it that had to be manually dried. He suggested that I take the receipt with Honda's description on it indicating the excess water from tinting to Total Eclipse because they get referrals from the dealership and may have business insurance to cover for reimbursement. Because they were closed by then, I went back on Wednesday and explained what Honda found. While the write-up guy and (possibly?) owner seemed understanding, the 3rd guy (installer?) said it happens and I should have just let it dry out. I had lost the use of my car for over 3 days over a holiday weekend so how much longer was I supposed to let it dry out? I mentioned that Honda suggested that the fuse box wouldn't have dried out by itself. Anyway, the first two guys asked for the copy of the receipt and said they would contact me the next day. I used Nevada Sun Control &Security Film - A Total Eclipse Company for my home tint and security film and had a horrible experience. My installation was completed in June 2015 and has since started bubbling on the sides and corners. The owner John is very unprofessional and would only replace one window when all but six Windows had issues. When I was making the decision to purchase he assured the install and film would be covered under a lifetime warranty which was very reassuring and made me choose his company. When I contacted 3M to handle the issue on my own he hadn't even registered the warranty to my properties address which he promised and according to 3M should always be done by the certified dealer. Instead he registered the warranty in-house which has caused issues and delays with me taking advantage of the warranty. I would not recommend working with this company. John was extremely hard to get a hold of and was consistently late and made me chase him for answers after the sale. read more

BEWARE!!! I used Total Eclipse to have a window re-tinted because the tint had been on the car for 7 years and was peeling. They did the work quickly, and within about 45 minutes I was out of there with a freshly tinted window on my Lexus. They told me to wait at least 3 days before I rolled down the window. To be safe, it was more than a week before I rolled down the window. About three weeks later I rolled the widow down and hear a crunching noise, and when I rolled it back up there was about a 4 square inch area that was peeled and folded up and would clearly get worse. I took it back in immediately and the guy at the counter recognized me immediately. I told him I was just there and he said "Ya the Lexus right?" so they clearly knew I had been there. He had one of the managers come out and look at it. The manager took a look and said it needed to be replaced and asked me for my receipt. I looked around and couldn't find it but told him I was just there a few weeks ago and the guy at the counter remembered me. He said that without a receipt he won't fix the window because I can't prove that I had the work done there!! So I told him that the guy inside remembered me and that they had to have a copy of the receipt inside and he again said if I didn't have "my copy" he wouldn't warranty the work. So I drove away with a damaged window tint and the crappy job that they did will now have to be redone by someone else, who will hopefully stand by their work. read more

I forgot to check in last week when I had my second car tinted. These guys do an amazing job. The original tint I had on my car was filled with bubbles and was beginning to fade.
