DO NOT USE Desert Tint Auto Glass LLC I brought my vehicle to **Desert Tint Auto Glass LLC at 4600 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89031**, for a simple service: installation of a tint strip across the top of my windshield. What should have been a basic job resulted in damage to my vehicle and additional out-of-pocket costs. During the tint installation, my vehicle camera/dash camera was sprayed with soap and water. After the service, the camera was no longer functional. The replacement cost for the camera is **$205**. In addition, my vehicle sustained door damage/dents while in their care. I had the damage appraised, and the repair estimate came to **$450**. The total documented cost of the damage is **$655**. I was originally prepared to simply walk away from this situation. However, at **8:05 this morning**, I received a call from the business stating that they are **not responsible** for the damage. That call changed my mind. My vehicle was brought in for a minor tint service and left with a non-working camera and body damage. Rather than accept responsibility or attempt to resolve the matter professionally, the business denied responsibility. A shop performing tint work should be expected to protect electronics, avoid spraying sensitive equipment, and return a vehicle in the same condition it was received. read more

Beware of this HORRIBLE location (Craig and Valley)!!!! I was voluntold to go to Desert Tint Auto Glass LLC and had them replace my windshield and they have NO PRIDE in their work or customer service. We had to order the windshield last week, they had us come in today and forgot why we were even there (they said for tint, which I would never use them). 6 hours after my 9a appointment, I had black marks all over my light gray interior, they left tools in my cup holder, stole morale patches, scratched and dented my car, left glue on my door inside and out, never wiped my screen or the dash. Then when I called them out, the little sweat shop kid called me stupid and I lost my sh*t, my husband and the little guy almost went at it. I will make it my mission to ensure that everyone knows how bad of a place this is. read more

I was sent here by the car wash next door. I was told to talk to Steve, my windshield on my Yukon took a beating of the freeway. Anyway, Steve was pretty straightforward, quick and made the experience pretty easy. He quoted me $295 for a new one. My insurance wanted to charge me $950! Insanity. Fast forward, I came in a few weeks later. It gets pretty busy fridays. You must come before 4pm during weekdays and before 11am on Saturday. It's usually a 2hr window to get what you need done. You cannot make an appointment! Walk in only. Ultimately the drop in, and fix was worth my while. I'd recommend anyone to come get it your tint or windshield done with no issues. WORST COMPANY EVER! The location on W. Craig has techs who steal out of your car, leaves overspray on the inside of your car, black marks on the interior, dented the back of the car and denies wrong doing when confronted. We took before and after photos when dropping off the car for a windshield replacement which shows items missing upon pickup. Then the techs left their own tools in the car and called us stupid when asked to clean up and fix their mess. UNPROFESSIONAL and we will look into legal action. *They don't even deserve a one star but Yelp forces you to click on the stars but they deserve no stars.* BEWARE of this location! 8.2.26 You can keep deleting the bad reviews but we'll keep posting on every single platform to make the public aware. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Desert Tint for the past 13 years, and until now I have never had a single issue with their work. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely changed my opinion. I recently brought my 2011 Audi TTS in for window tinting. When I got my car back, my rearview mirror electronics were no longer working correctly, and the hatchback sensor was also damaged. Both of these components were functioning properly before the vehicle was serviced. I will say that the young woman at the front desk has been professional, courteous, and has genuinely tried to help resolve the situation. She has been the only bright spot throughout this experience. The problem is the General Manager at the Craig Road location. Despite my long history as a loyal customer, he has refused to take responsibility for the damage or work toward a reasonable resolution. Instead of standing behind their workmanship and taking care of a customer who has supported this business for over a decade, I've been left frustrated and disappointed. After 13 years of trusting Desert Tint with my vehicles, I never expected to be treated this way. Customer service isn't just about doing good work--it's about making things right when something goes wrong. Sadly, that didn't happen here. I requested a same-day appointment, and they were able to accommodate me--which was a huge relief after another tint shop refused to do the removal due to concerns about damaging the rear defroster. I explained the situation and my concerns, and the team here was honest: there was a risk, but they promised to be extremely careful. The installer personally took on the job and even called me an hour later to let me know the old tint on the rear window had been successfully removed without damaging the defroster. That gave me a lot of peace of mind. They use SunTek window films, and since the install, I've noticed a big difference--my Tesla's Cabin Overheat Protection uses much less energy now. Devastated. The staff is genuinely friendly, which actually makes this harder to write. But the technicians in the back clearly lack proper training. I paid for a standard tint on my brand new SUV, expecting basic care, but left with permanent blade marks on the rear windshield and side windows. Because the shop chose not to take responsibility for the damage, the true cost of this visit has become a heavy financial burden. I now have to save up to get the glass fully replaced out of pocket. There is simply no value to be found when a customer is left paying to fix a shop's mistakes. If you love your car, or if it's newer, it deserves better care than this shop has to offer. this is the most unprofessional tint place I've ever been too. I got here at 10:30 am and didn't leave until 2:30 PM because they kept pushing my car to the back burner to fix angry customers tint from days before. I didnt finally leave until 2:30. they left my car dirty and scuffed, and this was a brand new 2026. I came from a referral on top of that. I'm in the industry so I could send 10-20 cars to them weekly. Professional I pointed out to Charlene the issues that were already prevalent and she told me they would go away once dried. I told her if not we will be back, and she stated she has no worries , and she's there every day but Thursday. This is the second time I've gone to them! Great service, got me in same day. 1st time they replaced a drivers window due to it being broken in, was $100 cheaper than every other place I called. After today's experience, I will not be returning. Yesterday, I called for a windshield replacement quote. I was told to text the VIN number to the number I called, which I did. After a reminder, I finally got a quote of $170. I confirmed I would come in the next day at noon, and they agreed. I drove two and a half hours from Arizona to keep that appointment. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have any windshields in stock and that I would need to come back the next day. I explained I live out of state, and the response I got was basically, "oh well." That is unacceptable customer service. To make matters worse, after "checking again," they came back with a sticky note quoting me $370 -- more than double the original price. No empathy, no accountability, no explanation. Just a shrug and a higher bill. This is not how you treat loyal customers. I wasted five hours on the road, gas money, and time off work, only to be met with indifference and a bait-and-switch on pricing. The quality of the work was poor, and when I brought the issues to their attention, the customer service was unprofessional and unwilling to help. I had to go back 2 other times due to issues with the tint job. They refused to address the problem or offer any type of refund. I took my brand new car here and usually the reviews are accurate but not this time. The reviews I read claimed they give a military discount but they DO NOT ! They claim they do by not charging sales tax but that applies to every customer. They botched up my windshield tint; and then refused to do anything about it until it had a chance to dry and so after waiting a week I took it back to get it redone . I gave them the chance to get it done right and was told it could take 1-3++ hours since it's very time consuming to get the old tint off. I just told them whatever it takes I just want it done right; as each new customer walked in my car was left unattended while their crew worked on the new customers car although I had been in the waiting room before they ever showed up.; then they'd resume working on my car once that other persons vehicle was done. After waiting over 3 hours patiently I received my car only to have again an unsatisfactory job and scratches and lint trapped under the film. Although I supposedly have a lifetime warranty I'm not going back and wait another 3 hours and get met with the angry attitude I came back after spending $450 with ZERO discount . I decided to go to another shop which cost me another $200 to get my windshield redone and it came out perfectly the first time ; the other shop also showed me where there's lint trapped under the rear window so I'll now have to pay to get that redone. I wouldn't recommend Desert Tint to my worst enemy and am certain you will be extremely disappointed in their quality of work too . read more

My BF had gotten his car windows tinted here and they looked great, so I went in to see if I could get mine done. Be in mind it was just a few hours before they were closing so I didn't think they took me in BUT THEY DID! I waited I'd say about an hour and a half. Very friendly and they had a lot of information on all different types of tint which helped me pick the ones I wanted. I have a small SUV and I thought the price was great with the tint that I picked. When they were done he advised me to not roll the windows down and if I had air bubbles to be patient and IT would go away.
