ShaTerra is AMAZING. I originally had gone onto Dayton Powder Brows Website(which is current, crisp, and easy to navigate) to research getting brows late fall 2021. My oldest son is 21 years of age, and I have had to apply my own brows for 21 years. I didn't lose clumps of hair on my head like most after having a baby, I lost my eyebrows. Then going thru two rounds of chemo/radiation for cervical cancer, changed my brows even more, to NONE EXISTANT. After looking thru ShaTerra's website, her descriptions and pictures, I became familiar with the different techniques and what I felt might best suit me. Of course, was going to go with whatever the expert recommended! So, fast forward to Jan. 2022, I told myself I am going to think of myself this year with some self care!! So, I just completed the three day Microblading/Ombre Brows training (April 2022) and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. ShaTerra is a calm, patient, and thorough instructor. After nearly 25 years of doing my brows daily, I was ready to take the plunge into PMU. I researched every studio from Columbus to Cincinnati and found Dayton Powder Brows. I'm so glad I finally committed! To say I was nervous is an understatement. My microblading and powder brow training with ShaTerra and Dayton Powder Brows Academy was fantastic and exceeded my expectations! I researched many options in Ohio for permanent makeup training, and was so impressed with how detailed and informative ShaTerra's website and course offerings were that I decided to commute over three hours each day for a three day permanent brow makeup course with her. Luv! I am so happy I found Shaterra on Yelp! I live in Las Vegas and am in Dayton helping my daughter move into her first apartment and after a busy few weeks I desperately needed a lash fill. I am spoiled at home with my regular lash lady (Amber at Brilliance Beauty Lounge if you're ever in Vegas) so I was nervous to try a new place but Shaterra was amazing! Her studio is clean, modern and elegant. Her table was comfy and she offered a sheet when I mentioned I was chilly. Shaterra is super friendly and we had great conversation. I felt so relaxed I was close to falling asleep towards the end of the session. Shateera's prices are average for lash extensions. The lashes are holding their shape, and are staying on with little/normal shedding. I had a little more sensitivity to the glue than normal but that cleared up within minutes. I attended ShaTerra's 3-day Microblading/Ombre brows training at Dayton Powder Brows this past weekend (January 2022). It was such an amazing time and I learned SO much. I am so pleased that I chose to train here. You learn so much in 3 days, you are given tons of amazing supplies to get you started in your career and ShaTerra is so sweet and generous. She is truly an artist when it comes to doing brows and was a very encouraging and helpful instructor. You can tell she truly cares about her students and her customers! We got to watch her work her magic on a client from beginning to end and we also got to do brows on 2 models ourselves, with plenty of help when needed. Everything was set up for us, models and all. I went to ShaTerra for Xtreme Lashes. She was GREAT. She was so patient and very detail-oriented. Her studio was very cute and clean. She did a great job at answering all my questions and even provided me with a pamphlet to take home. She told me she would also send me a code so I could get some products (which would also benefit her, yay!). I have also booked her to do my make-up for my engagement pictures. She is very reasonably priced and is easy to contact. She answers her Facebook, text, and emails in a very prompt manner. She is easy to talk to and is very sweet and genuine. ShaTerra is AMAZING. I moved to Ohio from MD a little over two years a ago and have been struggling to find a brow person. I'm skincare-obsessed and love my acids/ retinols, so back in MD, I was getting my brows threaded instead of waxed. There are not many estheticians that thread here, so I had to go back to waxing, and my experiences with waxing weren't exactly was I had been looking for. I found ShaTerra searching hashtags on IG, and I'm so happy. My brows look PERFECT. I can be very picky and can usually find something wrong...not a thing. Literally perfect. I found Shaterra (via social media) earlier this year and saw that she did lash extensions (in addition to makeup, waxing and multiple other services). I have gone thru chemo a couple times and my eye lashes just are much thinner after treatment. In addition, I'm blonde and my lashes I still have are short and hard to see and I just wanted to feel better about myself. I had a special occasion to attend and I thought I would splurge on something for myself. I wasn't sure how she would be able to handle my needs, but she made me feel comfortable from the beginning with the process and has been so professional. Shaterra is an absolute dream to work with! I have Alopecia, and haven't had eyebrows for year now! I've struggled daily with drawing my brows on and struggled to have consistent shape all these years. She was thorough in creating exactly the shape I dreamed of, even though I have no brow to base the shape and size off of! They look like the shape of my original brows and I'm amazed! This lip blush training was a great experience. I've done trainings with different providers and this one was by far one of the best. I was provided with two models and was able to provide them lip blush almost completely independently. I gained enough confidence to now take my own clients on.
