It takes a LOT for me to rate anything or anyone a full 5 stars, but I'm telling you - I would rate Total Kids Entertainment a 5 over and over again! We had a Ninja Turtle themed birthday party for our 4-year old boy, and it is EXTREMELY difficult to get the attention of a group of 4-year olds. However, David came in and managed to get all of them participating in his awesome magic show, fun games, and even dressed up as the Ninja Turtle, Michelangelo (in nearly 90 degree weather in Poway!) so we could get some cool photos. He was energetic, patient, and a ton of fun! If you are looking for entertainment for your kid's party, look no further! This company is surely going to bring a smile to everyone's face, and will make your event special and a step above the rest! UPDATE: (5/21/18) We had Dave come out again this year for my son's Magician themed 5th birthday and he did not disappoint! This is a very long overdue review. I only remembered to write it because my sons 2nd birthday is coming up and they were the entertainment for his 1rst birthday circus party. We are SO pleased with Dave! We had the choice of spending our money on a bounce house at a park, having the party at a special location, or having the party at home and hiring an entertainer and my husband and I both agree that we are BEYOND happy with our decision to hire Dave. Dave the Magician is truly a professional. I discovered him on YELP and booked him literally the same day we spoke. He was helpful in planning the location. On June 2nd 2018 he arrived at the party prepared to entertain about 40 kids. He was outstanding. I booked him for 1.5 hours, his rate was $225 not including tip. We had a mic available for use yet she does not take advantage of it. Help us help you...cuz she Obviously... OBVIOUSLY needed one. We were sent a "newbie" for a discount of $25...LOL!! Please hire someone who actually loves their job and has many tricks up their sleeves. What I read from the website's package options was not what I had expected it to be during its Live prformance. Was the show just creating regular sword & flower balloons? Dang!!! Make a couple of animal balloons at least just to make the children SUPER happy....Damn you. Give me a day in advanced and I can learn all( Possibly MORE ) of what she did with the help of Youtube and Google. THANKS YOUTUBE & GOOGLE !!!
