They're very unprofessional. They do not care about anything you have in your home. They destroy your personal property. They neglect to use any type of prep work or cleaning measures. Worst experience I've ever had. They destroyed some expensive BMW bags that hold my chargers for my car. And after contacting them, the only thing they could say is we will review and get back to you. Furthermore, the repair is mediocre at best. They didn't even do a good job on the repair. Prospective customers beware. In our case (or my mother's who I have been helping with this process) my mother didn't have a choice as they were contracted by her rental company, Invitation Homes. If you are familiar with their poor practices, that should tell you all you need to know. A similar situation is in another review here on yelp for Total Quality Restoration and Invitation Homes working together. Her home has been experiencing a severe leak since July 2024. After over 7 months and having the county code enforcement involved (where IH was cited in violation of the minimum housing standard, and later ruled by the magistrate to be in violation of the statute in March 2025) they replaced her roof in Feb. 2025. During that 7 Months where the issue was left unattended, the home was severely impacted by water intrusion and nearly every room has active leaks, and damage/staining/peeling on the ceilings/walls/drywall. Just 3 days after the Re-roof, during the first rain, the leaks persisted and worsened. We provided videos with time stamps to IH (and the county) and created another work order right away. It took several more weeks for the roofer to come back out and confirm that the leaks persisted, all the while we had (and still have) buckets placed around her home to collect the water flowing in during each rain. These leaks have still not been rectified and IH is currently being fined daily for non-compliance by the county. This is where Total Quality Restoration comes in. They have informed IH that they can perform the water damage mitigation/restoration while the leaks are still ACTIVE, never once making any effort to assist with or confirm the sealing of the building envelope. They are apparently going to "lipstick the pig". They have never even been to the home to perform any of the steps in either the S500 or S520 Standards for water/mold mitigation/remediation. They have done zero pre mitigation evaluation. Zero testing for mold. Zero leak detection, moisture detection/mapping, categorization, or classification of the damage & loss. They have done zero evaluation of liability due to limitations, complexities, potential health risks/concerns, or conflicts and made ZERO attempts to locate the source of the water intrusion and have done zero coordination with additional experts to resolve the water intrusion. They have taken zero dimensional measurements to ensure that they have the appropriate air scrubbers and can clean the air at the appropriate cadence per hour. Made no drying plan or any decision of whether negative or positive pressures will need to be leveraged. They have made no evaluation of the HVAC system and how it will or wont be treated. They are insistent that the home can remain occupied, but given no instructions on how personal property will be protected during this pseudo mitigation. Where does everything in the home go when EVERY room is affected. To top it off the dwelling will be vacant in 2 weeks. So rather than release themselves of so much liability, and actually make an effort to do the job correctly by pushing it back 2 weeks when the home will be empty, they are moving forward with all of these liabilities and half measures. Extremely unprofessional and a poor business decision IMO. We've expressed the concern that these standards and steps are not being followed, and asked how they can mitigate damage without first confirming the source of the damage has been rectified and before the "envelope has been sealed". Their response was "oh we do it like this all the time, and if the plastic we put up is damaged by continued leaks IH will just have to pay us to come out again." In my opinion they essentially told us their intention is to not do the service correctly the first time, so that they can bill again and come out additional times. We have had to retain legal representation due to the issues faced with Invitation Homes, are documenting this process for further action and are now forced to under go this retaliatory, fruitless demolition, all while in the process of vacating the home after over a year of non stop issues and work orders. Horrible service and horrible experience. When confronted on how they will handle the mold in the house, they said they will run some test. Assuming the test came back positive for mold, they would disinfect the area to get rid of the mold. Never did they had panned to eliminate the origin of the mold. Since they work for Invotation Homes, they are instructed to cut conners. Stay away from this company. It will be a complete disaster to hire them. read more

I wish I had the foresight to come to this site and check the reviews before agreeing to let this scum bag of a company into my home. As Valerie from an earlier post mentioned Eddie who seems to be the face of this shit show was probably a conman in another life. The clown started off with saying he understood what we were dealing with and would do everything in his power to make it less stressful. For starters fool missed every deadline that he set for himself. Secondly, when we finally get home after living in a hotel for weeks there were still drywall pieces everywhere. The popcorn ceiling in the garage was only half way completed. The painted the entire interior walls but guess forgot to use tape to prevent paint from getting on the floors, other walls, light fixtures and pretty much the whole house has LARGE paint SPLATTERS everywhere. The bathroom is still missing a mirror, vent cover, and blinds. We've tried reaching out and the guy has gone completely ghost. I hope you WHOEVER READ THIS RUNS FROM YOU LIKE THERE LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. Seriously your quality of work is trash at best, your planning is atrocious, and I hope you go bankrupt. read more

THIS COMPANY SUCKS. The communication, the work is subpar, they don't deliver the "customer service" that the owner, Eddie, "sells". Just a horrible experience over all. I would never recommend them to anyone not use them in my own home!!!! Luckily we're renting and we won't be here forever and our rental company won't penalize us for TQR's faults. They get hired to do a job, because our rental company chose them to do repairs, and first off, NONE of the workers speak English, two: they do a sloppy paint job that it looks like a kindergarten child did it, three: they don't clean up the paint splatters they made (staining MY PERSONAL PROPERTY), and lastly, when they're done, they just left with out notice or asking if everything else is good. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. They were initially hired to do post fire repairs 2 MONTHS AGO and they forgot to install and repair SO MANY things. So after SEVERAL attempts to reach the owner and the company, TWO MONTHS LATER they finally get techs out here. The owner, Eddie, had such great customer service and was so responsive in the beginning but this is one of those companies that they're great in the beginning but go completely MIA once you pay them. read more

We really like eddy he seemed very motivated in our project and told us he would get back with us in a week or 2 with a quote and they would be able to start right away. NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN! I had to use TQR because after a long insurance battle In court my insurance company won the right to use their own contractor. So to begin with Eddy came in here promising the moon and the stars and was very convincing that this would go quick and easy and I could get the stuff I wanted and the way I wanted it. My kitchen had to be redone and all my flooring throughout my whole home. So the project should had taken 5weeks at the most had people been working everyday and every week doing something. There were weeks that no one showed up to do anything. Very fusterating. So my project dragged on for over 9 weeks. So let me begin by telling you all the stupid things that was done on my project by Eddy and his subcontractors he hires. First my new kitchen cabinet were beige, but they put white crown molding on top. So they had to come back and fix which took more time. When I asked them why they did that the worker responded, " it was dark that day of instillation " I have all kinds of high hat ceiling light he could have turned on.. not acceptable...I picked out the sink and faucet I wanted, sent all the information to Eddy and he said no problem he will order it. Now he needs to give the dimensions of my sink to granite guy so they can cut granite for my sink before they come and install it. Well I come home and there is a sink that is installed that I absolutely hate and not the one I wanted. I'm now madder than hell..so Eddy says he needs to put p,aspic all over my kitchen that I have already cleaned several times and I'm not trying to make more mess I want this done and over. So of course Eddy didn't order the sink. Then the guy who put in my granite came for a couple of hours and put up have my outside counter top than left and didn't come back for a week, so left a big mess outside that I had clean up my self to make it some what presentable if I had coumpany. So finally when the granite guy came back he was short on the counter top and pieced a 18 inch piece with the grain going the wrong way,, Unbelievable ,it's like not one of his workers have any respect for their work they do.The next thing is a outlet was positioned behind the top of my stove and obviously couldn't be used, so he had to come back and put a mesh over it so the tile guy who did the back splash would tile over it..welll he didn't, but yes he did tiled around a outlet that was covered , so he had to come back and fix that, now all these things took at least up to a week to come back and fix, when they should have been done right the first time to avoid all this added stress on me. I asked Eddy if he would order a dishwasher for me from Lowe's where he gets a discount and I told him I would pay for the rest. He told me no problem he had a manager friend hooking us up. On oct 10he texted me it was ordered and it would be delivered directly to me. Fine that's great,I'm thinking. So I hear nothing for 3 weeks ,I ask about it I get a excuse" it's back ordered" okay I wait another 2 weeks nothing ask again, "he has to check his email" a couple days go by nothing, finally I confronted about ordering my dishwasher , he said he was busy.. what the heck does that have to do with anything if he just has to order and it's being delivered directly to me.. there's no work for him. So I waited 6weeks for a dishwasher I wasn't even getting,so he lied, I don't like liars. Now there are 2 areas outside my bar area that needed to touched up with paint-and a wall that needed texturing. He asked me to sign the COS before I got my dishwasher and before he finished all the work completely. That was my mistake I trusted him to do the right thing and still finish even though I signed it, Eddy has his hands into to many pots and I would not recommend him or this company to anyone.
