This is one review I could not wait to share…read more If I had the option of giving 10 stars, I would! I had 6 consultations prior to meeting Dr. Shawn Moshrefi and from the moment I walked in to his office, I knew he was 'the one'. Dr. Shawn Moshrefi took time to understand my goals, concerns, and even the emotional side of why I wanted the procedure. Every question, no matter how small or repetitive was answered thoroughly and honestly. I never felt pressured, only supported and informed. My entire experience felt like being surrounded by family who truly want the best for me. I'm beyond grateful to each and every staff member at Dr. Shawn Moshrefi's office including his office manager, Dr. David who went above and beyond to answer all my questions and concerns. I am one week out today AND MY EXPERIENCE WITH MY TUMMY TUCK AND LIPOSCUTION TRULY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTIONS. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Shawn Moshrefi without any reservations

I hope my experience helps others make a fully informed decision when considering their options. It has been over seven months since my surgery, and not a day has gone by without stress, regret, and sadness about the outcome. What I hoped would increase my confidence has instead had the opposite effect, significantly affecting how I feel about my body. Before surgery, I was very clear that I wanted a small, natural-looking BBL. Unfortunately, the result I received was not consistent with the aesthetic I had hoped for. The outcome appears much boxier and larger than what I had envisioned and discussed during my consultations. (I am willing to share photos documenting my experience.) I began expressing concerns about the shape almost immediately after surgery and was repeatedly reassured that I needed more time to heal, that swelling needed to resolve, and that the fat would eventually "settle." I trusted the process and waited patiently. However, after more than seven months, the concerns I raised from the beginning remain. I also experienced issues with the contour of my thighs that I brought up during follow-up appointments. I followed the recommendations I was given, including compression, multiple lymphatic massages, and foam placement, but I did not see meaningful improvement. What has been most difficult for me is not only the outcome itself, but the feeling that my concerns were never truly addressed. I left multiple appointments hoping for reassurance or solutions and instead felt that I was continually being told to wait longer. As time passed and the results remained unchanged, that became increasingly heartbreaking. Since my surgery, I have consulted with twelve board-certified plastic surgeons to better understand my options moving forward. One thing I learned is that every surgeon has a different aesthetic style and approach, and not every surgeon is the right fit for every patient's anatomy or goals. Looking back, I wish I had spent more time researching different surgical styles and seeking additional opinions before making my decision. Based on my personal outcome, I do not feel that the surgical approach used in my case aligned with my anatomy or the natural aesthetic I had clearly communicated that I wanted. I understand that other patients may have had different experiences. This review reflects only my personal experience and my honest feelings about the results of my procedure. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most emotionally difficult experiences I have ever gone through, and I wish I had made a different choice. I hope sharing my experience helps others carefully evaluate all of their options before moving forward with surgery.

I'm taking them to small claims court, will report them to medical board. Once they say this money has been taken by anesthesiologist, since you reserved a date with him, then they contradict themselves, stating your deposit will remain for any other procedure you have!! They wanted to bribe another dr. In Thousand Oaks, to clear me for pre op and surgery, because they are losing $65,000.00 that they wanted to charge me. Now they are torturing me to go for another procedure or my $2,000.00 deposit will be gone. Basically forcing me for a procedure. I asked them will the doctor guarantee my health?! Put yourself in my shoes and tell me what you would have done??!! Anyone, any doctor I'm telling them about this situation, their mouths is wide open. I knew right away it was more than just a sprain, but I continued playing on it for two years. Over time, the pain became unbearable. I started to believe I'd have to live with it permanently, which took a serious toll on me mentally. Finding the right specialist felt uncertain, and I was skeptical anyone could truly fix it. That changed when I met Dr. Randall. I had surgery, and just six weeks post-op, the pain that I lived with for years is gone. For the first time in a long time, it feels like I'm not going to deal with that pain again. I'm extremely grateful. Dr. Randall gave me my quality of life back. G-d bless her--she's an exceptional physician who saved me from a lot of long-term pain and suffering. Thank you.

At the first appointment, the doctor examined my son, prescribed physical therapy, and ordered a custom nighttime brace to keep his feet at a 90-degree angle while sleeping. The problems started immediately. We were initially double-charged for the office visit, and it took more than a month to correct the billing error. We were also told our insurance would cover a significant portion of the brace, but after the order was placed, we were informed that a staff member had made a mistake and failed to account for our deductible, leaving us responsible for the full amount. A few days after my son's feet were scanned, the office called to say they had lost the scans and we had to come back for another appointment. After the second scan, they called again to ask whether the brace was supposed to be for one foot or both. The doctor also prescribed physical therapy. I contacted numerous pediatric physical therapy providers, but none accepted children my son's age. When I asked the office for guidance, I was told the doctor would recommend another provider. That never happened. After waiting another month, we finally received what was supposed to be the custom nighttime brace. It wasn't. It looked like a simple shoe brace with no straps to hold my son's feet in the prescribed position. When I called and went for another visit, the doctor initially tried to convince me that this was actually better than the brace she had prescribed. Only after I insisted did they agree to remake it. Then came weeks of delays and conflicting information. Every time we called, we were given a different explanation. One person said we had already picked it up. Another said it had been sent back for correction. Then we were promised it would be ready the following week. None of those promises were kept. By this point, we had lost confidence and sought a second opinion from another pediatric orthopedic specialist. After examining my son, that specialist told us that, in their medical opinion, he did not need either the prescribed physical therapy or the brace. Finally, after more than FIVE MONTHS, we picked up what was supposed to be the corrected custom brace. The doctor didn't even come into the room to check the fit or examine my son. We were simply handed the device and sent home. When we got home, we discovered something that perfectly summed up our entire experience. Both braces were made for the RIGHT foot. Not one for the left and one for the right. Two right-foot braces. After five months of delays, repeated mistakes, conflicting explanations, and a device that was not usable, we ultimately chose to stop the process. We were told that a partial refund could be issued, and we received back approximately half of the amount we had paid. Even with that refund, the experience left us without a usable brace and with months of our son's treatment time lost. ***Update after the doctor's response*** The doctor's response still does not address my main concerns. My son was not supposed to receive an AFO in the first place. We specifically chose a nighttime brace because he attends preschool and we did not want his walking or play to be affected unless absolutely necessary. If the final solution was simply an off-the-shelf night splint with no right or left side, why were my son's feet scanned and why was I charged $550 for what was presented as a custom orthotic? I also find it disappointing that the response emphasizes how the staff "worked tirelessly." They spent that time correcting their own repeated mistakes. Fixing those mistakes was part of their professional responsibility, not a favor to my family. What is still missing is a simple acknowledgment and apology. P.S. Despite receiving a partial refund, I was still charged over $200 for a device that appears to be a generic night splint available for around $15 at Walmart.
