Price went up to $225 "ok, As long as it's perfect" I said. WOW! Wax wasn't done and neither was shampoo! They said no shampoo only steam machine (waterless). I was told shampoo and wax! Owner didn't care and said I had to pay anyways. They spoke in Russian most of the time and all they would say was "pay or call police". I have used them for mobile car service in Feb and was so happy with their job. The guy was so dedicated on the job and did an amazing job. I have an old 2006 car and every few months I'll spend the money and take it here to miami steam wash and it's really more clean than a regular car wash. Let me just start by saying I am completely amazed and truly happy I tried out this company! I work transporting dogs so my car is always full of their hair and they always manage to spill stuff and get my car dirty with their paws specially when it rains. I downloaded their app (Steam Wash) set up an appointment, received confirmation text, and they even arrived 10 minutes earlier to the appt. My car was left absolutely stunning! The stains in my fabric seats were gone and the vacuum job was very well done. So I drive a 2015 Mercedes E400 coupe. I replaced my 2 rear tires yesterday and went to Mercedes today for an alignment and inspection. My car got a good bill of health so I decided to get it detailed. The interior of my car is a light colour and I'm not gonna lie it was gross. So I saw the commercial for this steam place and decided to bring it there. I go and I get a quote for $275. I pay it and I leave my car. I go back to pick my car up and I checking things out. I won't lie they did a good job. I go to put my passenger seat back to where I like to have it and I notice that the switch on my door is now loose and the seat is not responding. I bring it to their attention and the lady who is in charge said to me, well your car is old. At that point, I got in my car and left. I sent a text message to the "boss" Levi and will share them if need be. He said he would have a meeting with his staff. I also told him I can give him my receipt from mercedes as well as my service manager's phone number. I will update this review once I get his reply. The unprofessionalism they displayed really marred the job they did. I'll await his response before I take further actions. Update 1) So after I posted this review on. I visited their website, downloaded their app and even tried calling to set up an appointment and all of my efforts were useless. They must use some kind of call center, because the person I spoke to clearly doesn't work at this location. That was all really frustrating, but I still wanted to give them a try. Too much drama to book an appointment. I called in to get a quote and they couldn't even give me a quote without telling me someone else would call me back in a few hours. Didn't want to do a same-day appointment, they wanted me to wait. Very professional and friendly. $95 to have my entire car detailed. It looks brand new. More importantly, my seats had some serious stains that another car wash couldn't get out, AT ALL, and it cost $60. I was shocked at how clean my seats came out. There is a tiny tiny remnant of the stain left, that you can only notice if you're looking for it. Brought my new 2018 Black Elantra Sport with swirl marks and paints imperfections and they did an amazing job on it. About an hour in a Russian man came in and informed me that the inside of my car was done and was being taken over to wash the outside. Another 15-17 min he says. I recently got a full detail from Miami Total Steam Auto Detailing Ctr. The service and experience were okay. First of all, I called them to schedule an appointment for a mobile detail which they no longer offer. I was told I didn't need an appointment to get a full detail. Just show up. So I did. After arriving at their location for a full detail, I was told that I would need an appointment to get a headlight restoration which comes with the full detail pkg. The person that provides that service is there only on certain days. I was disappointed with this because I wanted to get everything done the same day. I was told by their staff, Kristina, that I could come back to have the headlights done w/ no charge. They did have the detail done within the estimated time frame of 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I went to pick it up right before they closed. I was pleased with the work that was done on the inside of my car. The exterior was okay. I was expecting my car and wheels to be shinier. It also had a couple of smudges on it from the wax. Before and after going in to pay for the service, one worker kept asking for a tip and I told him I didn't have cash and he proceeded to show me the tip box and said I could leave a tip when I pay inside - which I already knew. Another worker questioned me about a tip as I was leaving out of their office. I understand it's a pandemic and times are hard, but customers should never feel pressured to leave a tip. Out of all the car washes I've been to my entire life, this is the first time I experienced that type of aggressiveness from their workers. That was not cool. The next day I called to make an appointment for the headlight restoration service. I spoke to two different call center operators who both kept telling me to bring the car in at any time. I told them the staff person told me I needed an appointment. They couldn't give me an appointment and left my msg to the staff. That was annoying. I remembered I had the staff person's number so I texted her. She told me the person who does the headlight restoration is on vacation and she will let me know when he returns. That was almost two weeks ago. I've heard nothing back. Overall, I would say the full detail is not worth the $200 I paid. To TCC Wash - if all of the services that come with the full detail, such as the headlight restoration, are no longer offered - first of all, take it off your website and tell customers it's not offered. Be upfront about it instead of telling a customer you can and will do a service and then don't do the job. Secondly, if anyone plans on taking your car there, DO NOT get info. from the call center operators because they don't have accurate info. All they will tell you is - you don't need an appointment and bring your car in at their location during business hours. Ask to speak with a staff person or leave a msg. Make sure you clarify with the staff all of the services that will be provided and if an appointment is needed for any of them ahead of time. Good luck! read more
