When…read moreEric came to inspect my property, Georgia was in the middle of a Covid lockdown and I was pleased that he followed CDC protocols and the entire process was contactless. After inspecting my roof, Eric gave me a call while still outside to give me a summary. He followed up with a detailed estimate and guidance on working with my insurance company. After filing my claim with my insurance company, I had to wait nearly a month for my mortgage company to release the insurance check (the mortgage company had to endorse the check). During this time, I kept Eric in the loop and he was very understanding. In fact, he even offered financing options while I waited for my insurance check. When I finally received the insurance funds, I called The Roof Clinic to schedule my appointment. My roof installation was scheduled for 8am on 8/21/20. That morning, Eric was sitting in his truck outside my house a little after 7am awaiting delivery of the supplies. The team arrived by 7:30am. The supplies were delivered by 7:45am and by 8am they were actually ripping the existing shingles off my roof. By 8:45am they were done stripping the roof. Around 1pm Eric returned to inspect the work that had been done. By 1:30pm, I had a brand new roof and the crew was gone. I can't say enough good things about my experience with The Roof Clinic. Eric was courteous, informative, and very responsive. The work crew was on time, worked quickly, and delivered an excellent finished product. In addition, the price was more than fair! I learned a very hard lesson working with this company. Never work with a contractor who is…read moreunwilling to pull permits. I hired R Contracting services based on the recommendation of a neighbor whom they did renovations for in the past. My project was to build a roof over my patio. When signing the contract, Renee was unwilling to pull a permit for the contract for the project, even though the roof was an addition to the house. I secured a permit under my name and thank God I did. The framing failed inspection due to no rafter straps, posts not being properly bolted and a post being cut differently than the other two without being properly secured. After they corrected those issues, they attempted to use water-damaged molded wood for the ceiling of the roof. When I told them it was unacceptable, their initial response was that they would "clean it" and put mold-resistant primer on the wood. I held firm because my son has Asthma. They eventually replaced the wood on the ceiling. The final straw was when they were finishing up and I had to notify them that a moved downspout was pointed towards a window. A two-week quoted project, ended up taking four. They were more concerned about getting paid than doing quality work or doing the project right the first time. -I would not recommend them to anyone.

Apparently, they drove by to view our home to look at it to get back to is with a quote. Our home has a basement which is below ground with one side exposed (window and door). This is still underground level. But they sent me a message stating that this is a 3 story home and that they don't do 3 story homes. Mind you all of the home is above ground except a verrrry small side with a window and door. My feeling is that this may have been a job they didn't want to do. Our home is brick and stucco with no mold or mildew, no stains, etc. We're disappointed as they are the only ones that have ever said or even considered this a 3 story home in any previous work we've had done(?). Please ask questions... maybe describe your home to them before consider them for a quote.
