This is by far my favorite Total Wine location. Maybe a bit biased because it's close to home. However, it does not matter what I am looking - sometimes specialty or seasonal items - they always have a decent amount stocked of what ever it might be! This is without a doubt like the Costco comparison of taste testing. On some evenings they have some great vendors/suppliers giving out free samples. Have to always make sure I pack a snack just in case there are more than 3 vendors on the floor - which is almost always the case! read more

Total wine is the ToyRus or Disneyland for adults! This location is in great shape, clean and organized. Also, they have plenty of parking just in front of the store. There always have a great selection of everything. Including wine, champagne, whiskey, tequila, vodka, and more. They also have items like cheese, salami, and cigars Pricing is very competitive. They had so many different things to choose from. The staff at this location knew everything there is to know about liquor and made it a great shopping experience. They have a great loyalty program. I LOVE Total Wine, especially this total wine. If they don't have what you're looking for, it's not worth drinking. Seriously such a huge selection of anything and everything. It's so fun just going to browse! (But I mean who goes just to browse....;) ) Something about this store is so relaxing. We came to Total Wine because it was located fairly close to the our hotel. They have a great selection wine and liquor. The prices are a little higher than what we are used to. We picked up some beer, liquor, mixers, and cigars. I liked browsing the local craft beer aisle--I love the artwork on the cans/bottles (weird, I know). They had a few vendors set up throughout the store, selling products, which I'm not a fan of. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have an old school Pac Man arcade game which I thought was pretty cool. read more

Who knew that Total Wine had classrooms that you could host events in?!?! Not I! I have always only come to Total Wine to get...you guessed it, WINE! Never have I wondered around to the point that I discovered meeting areas. Last night, I had the pleasure of being a guest to a workshop that was hosted in the Total Wine classroom at this Aventura location. The meeting space is a nice size and Total Wine does a great job of setting everything up for you. Monday- Wednesday, the meeting space is free and just an FYI the Aventura location fills up quick. The rest of the days of the week, you can rent the room for a fee. No matter what of the week that you choose to reserve the meeting space, a complimentary wine tasting session is included. How neat, right?!?! I am not much of a wine drinker. I stick to two and don't usually venture out to others because of the taste but the two that were on the menu last night were delicious. They Stella Rose and Stella dark (or something like that). I usually don't like red wine and only stick to Moscato's but the Stella Dark was nice and sweet and so was the Stella Rose. And the best part? They are only $10. Cheap and delicious! My type of wine! They also had some really cute stemless (my fav) wine glasses with cute quotes and the such. I saw some as low as $4 and they were at least about 10oz in size. Before last night, I did not know that this location existed. Primarily because I rarely frequent the Aventura care but will certainly venture out to this Total Wine location more often. read more

Total Wine is basically an adult Disneyland of wine, beer and spirits! Every time I walk into one, I am amazed at the size and selection. This store is essentially the size of your regular grocery store - but filled entirely with booze. I can say with confidence, you can find something for everyone when you visit Total Wine. The store is organized by type of alcohol which makes it easy to navigate for someone who considers themselves an expert in drinking wine, but not really with wine knowledge. If you know you love cab - have no fear, there are literally two aisles filled with cabs at every price point. If you're into French wines, no problem - there's a whole section for that too. They've got a really decent selection of local and craft beer, and a vast array of spirits for those cocktail lovers. Total Wine even has some cute grab and go bar accessories that can make a cute, quick hostess/host gift. The employees are very helpful if you get lost in a sea of vino. You can also check out their website to see a list of classes and events. From what I saw they offer tastings at around $20 per class with various themes. I love love love Total Wine. This location is right across the street from my apartment which is so convenient (and dangerous lol.) I feel like this store has all your alcoholic needs. It's always so organized and everyone is so helpful to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Their staff is very knowledgeable (since I don't know as much as I would like) so it's nice that they're always available to help. They have tastings and sales you just have to be on the lookout. This particular trip I was wanting to try a Golden Ale beer and to my surprise they had a 6 pack for sale at $4.99!!! Winning!! There is a huge parking lot so parking is never a problem. I love Total Wine and especially this Aventura location. It has a great selection of wines and I found a certain few that I was looking for and even more. Great prices as well. I had a deal for $20 back on spending $100 on my Amex. Somehow, I came up just short on the $100 while checking out. My cashier was nice and waited patiently while I quickly hunted down one more wine to surpass $100. Apparently, my bill hadn't reached $100 due to some other deal that was in play called Mix 6 as it was shown on my receipt. This Mix 6 discounted every single wine that I bought ranging from $1 to $1.50 off on average. All this plus the $20 back and that's a pretty sweet deal overall. Thanks Total Wine! I hosted a fundraiser/party in the Total Wine educational room. Mel was the resident beer expert (cicerone) who walked us through a 10 or 11 flight Belgian beer tasting. Mel was great. The room was beautiful. The beer was amazing. Had an opportunity to walk around the store afterwards and, of course, their beer/wine/liquor selection is expansive. Total Wine has regular classes. This location was a dream the store was immaculately stocked and the staff was comical but pleasant. I love the fact that i was greeted first thing upon entering the store and though I had little idea what I wanted initially when I got here I was able to wonder the store and find something great to suit my fancy. The aisles were an endless assortment of anything you can think of, so I decided to go with the mango flavored new Amsterdam. Couldn't have made a better decision considering it's the perfect blend of sweet and subtle. I'm not big on vodka my preference is red wine but after mixing it with a splash of cranberry juice it went down smooth. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE MY DRINK. Brand New Location only open 5 days and I had no idea it was even going into this retail location next door to Steinmart in the Chill's plaza. Have been a Total Wine & More fan for sometime and the traffic at their North Miami Location was horrendous, but their great pricing & Staff always had me heading there even though it was not really an easy drive. Happy to say they have opened one in my own backyard and what a store it is. By far the nicest I've ever been in, brand new everything easily broken down by type of liquor, varietal etc. A place in the front to pick up online orders, an area just to the left with various liquor specialty appetizer items along with all the latest wine gadgets that you can think of. I even saw a huge Humidor and cigar area off the right and don't even get me started on the high end wines refrigerator. As stated I get a variety of coupons from them regularly and I'm a loyalty member so I do shop at various locations often. Upon entering I realized I had left my coupon at home but the manager was kind enough to honor it once he pulled up my loyalty number. Melissa was a real help in selecting some very nice Petite Sirah's which I was not familiar with the particular winery, and I loaded up on some of my regular every day drinking wines as well. I have no doubt this place will do well as my 1st impression was nothing short of spectacular and the staff was really informative, friendly and professional. Great new location in aventura area. Used to be a Barnes and nobles and now turned into Total wine. Walking in, it is clean and pretty big. They have a vast selection of items but it can get a bit confusing looking for exactly what you need. Customer service is lacking as no one comes to you or asks if you need assistance. I love finding different options of wine or beer they carry. It allows you to explore the different taste and textures of alcohol. They even have taste testings at times. Checking out is very simple & quick, and they offer a points program where you get discounts on your beverages. Make sure to sign up so you can see all the discounts they offer. read more

I have always loved total wine not only because of their wine selection but also because if their service. Having recently moved to Hallandale, my husband and I now shop at the Aventura store. Of course the selection is what one would expect from total wine. However, the service is beyond expectations.
