This a beautiful grocery store, you can't tell from the parking lot, but it's quite big too. It was clean and organized, and they had fresh produce. It's definitely a little on the higher end, but I still found some deals, making it an affordable visit. The wine section was thoughtfully laid out by country and I was pleasantly surprised from their selection. There were of course South American wines, but also Australian, South African, and Japanese Sakes. The experience here was pleasant and checkout went quickly, as there were many registers open and short lines. read more

I have to say this is always been my favorite Mark And I really like the Super Bowl and I think I've only had one problem since I didn't go. I asked if there was a stop so we said I'm not sure. I think they might want customer service nicely. He seemed to not really care he was definitely a manager and gentlemen and it was at 2:45 PM today. He just said well we don't have any but we have to buy and I've seen not in the whole store cause I just bought this and he said no but if you wanna buy it, it was just not very nice and not good at customer service. He seemed to put me off and not really care. I'll have to tell you this doesn't happen at Publix or anywhere and normally Milams is really good about this. He really needs to be spoken to to be a little bit more friendly and accommodating if possible he just kept pointing and telling me I could buy some. read more

Perfectly adequete and diverse array of goods at this chain supermarket. The facility feels and looks classier than its peers and naturally, the prices are more expensive. I have been shopping at this supermarket for 15 years and although I find the prices a little high, today I had an extremely disappointing experience. Someone took my shopping cart with my bag inside, and I was unable to locate my belongings, including documents, cell phone, credit cards, etc. Despite asking the employees and the manager for help, I received no support whatsoever. I only needed help locating my bag inside the supermarket, but the manager never came to help me, nor did the security guard, saying that it was not their problem. As a customer, I expected more attentive and efficient support in such a delicate situation. It is a huge disappointment, and I hope the store can reconsider the way it handles these situations in the future and others. It showed no empathy for human beings. read more

Love Milams! Have stopped by pretty frequently recently to pick up a few items we need throughout the week. They have a pretty good variety of grocery items and things are always well organized and stocked up! Fresh fruit and a selection of bread that we love. The bathrooms are always always clean which is surprising for any supermarket ( including the baby changing table!) fishing bait quality seafood. i ordered 2lbs of salmon July 17 at around 715 pm on Instacart. first mistake because clearly if you are not at the seafood counter to tell the person not to sell you all thin ends that are discolored with a sell by date of the same day thats what they think is acceptable to send. plum maket on biscayne is a much better option. the seafood and meat counter never disappoint I tried to cook it anyway and it was disgusting so nobody got dinner last night. read more

This is a beautiful specialty grocery store. We popped in here last weekend and really enjoyed the selection of breads and ethnic foods. I picked up some Polish cabbage rolls in the freezer section, but I noticed some Jewish goods sold here as well. The assortment of wines is outstanding; carrying premium brands like Moet and Chandon. You can even get bottles of Dom Perignon here. The store was really clean and laid out nicely. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I appreciate that Milams operates at their regular operating hours closing at 11pm daily. I had to pop in tonight really late, about 10pm to get a few things to make my Cuban dinner. I'm so sick of these corporations using the virus to cut employee hours while forcing people to shop within shorter operating hours. The only entities benefiting are the food corporations making record quarterly profits while operation costs dwindle, and the "trickle-down" is not trickling down to employees. I think the only reason why Publix moved back to 10pm, still one hour before their normal closing hours, is because of competition from other supermarkets that stay open later like Bravo & Foodtown as well as other smaller food markets. They don't give a damn about the virus or employees or shoppers in regards to this virus. Prices can be a little inflated for certain items, but the place is super clean and they have excellent customer service. They also sell my favorite raw unprocessed honey "Keez Beez", as well as having a nice variety of freshly baked European breads. read more

I walked into the store and there's a guy sitting on the bench inside the store panhandling asking for money aggressively. I walked over to the cashier I told her and she just gave me this blank look and didn't say anything to me. She didn't say she was sorry that it happened and she didn't say she was going to do anything she didn't say anything at all she just did not respond. I was under the impression that this was some kind of nice grocery store but it was actually the first time I've been panhandled inside a business where the business refuse to do anything about it, it made me extremely uncomfortable and I left the store without purchasing anything because if your employees are not going to speak to people and they have a valid concern, I'm not gonna give you my money. I'm not gonna shop there and is it really that difficult to stock blueberry muffins? I came all the way there in hopes that you would have blueberry muffins and also had were sad triple berry muffins with cranberries that I'm allergic to, so my experience at your store was less than stellar and I don't think I'll ever come back. Fresh products are always available fruits veggies salads , great sandwiches, all fresh cut ! Variety of European products, and always stoked! The only marked that didn't lack anything during pandemic. The flowers at this location are gorgeous! The meat selection super fresh ! Very nice daily sushi . And the coffee excellent! Custom made ! This morning I was wowed by Milam's superior customer service. I have been a resident in Sunny Isle for the last three years and this was my go to supermarket. I had a few unpleasant experiences at the sandwich counter almost as if they didn't want to make the sandwich. I don't complain I just stop giving them my business. A few days a go my wife insisted we go to milams for her favorite California turkey club sandwich. Mind you she loves and talks highly of Milam's and She had an unpleasant experience herself. She spoke to manager unlike myself. To my surprise Milam's blew my mind and level of customer service experience. If you're a fan of TJ's and a loyal customer stay loyal. Milam's can not compete. I walked i after hearing that this place may compete and the prices were sky high and food not labeled properly. It's always about the labels and prices. If you're conscious about what you consume and prefer TJ's definitely stay there. This place doesn't live up to the reviews for organics, no hormones and the two dollar $$ signs price tag. I have been going there for years, ever since the Epicure Market closed. The service at the deli counter leaves a lot to be desired. For years I have been getting my favorite sandwich...tuna salad on Jewish rye bread. Today I was told that this is no longer available and I would have to purchase the entire loaf of rye bread from the bread rack if I wanted my sandwich on rye bread. I ordered tuna on whole wheat instead....it was ALL Bread...very little tuna.. It was like the Tuna swam by the sandwich...The gourmet shrimp salad looked like it was in the case for days...not appealing. I don't know if management reads these....but if you do. We were staying at a hotel within walking distance to this grocery store. Our hotel room had a kitchenette and we came here to buy water and snacks for our stay. This is a full on grocery store so they had everything we needed. If you're looking for super specialty items that Whole Foods or Sprouts has this isn't the place, though they do have organic produce options, pasture raised eggs and natural dairy which we appreciated. My husband and I love this Milan's in Sunny isles beach. When we moved away from the Coconut Grove market I was so happy I found one here so close to my new neighborhood . Clean and organized a pleasant and relaxing shopping g experience with classical music playing in the background makes you want to take your time shopping. We especially like their prepared deli section with fresh salads, our favorite is their chicken salad. We also purchase their sliced and cooked eggplant to make our own Parmesan . I've never been to a grocery store, with an outstanding customer service like this place. The first time I visited Milam's it was because we just moved to sunny isles and we needed ice, eggs and milk. Well at the register I forgot to get ice , so I told the lady if she could charge it and I would just get it on my way out. She said she would run and get it for me. She didn't have to do that but she did. Betsy thank you that to me was great service. Second time it was for caramel drizzle and I couldn't find it. A guy, who I believe was the manager approached me (I'm sure he noticed I looked lost) he asked what can I help you find. I told him what I was looking for it and he didn't give me an isle he told me to follow him and he would take me to it. Well he did. Thank you that was amazing customer service. This is my convenient supermarket because close to my house. It has daily fresh food, the fruits are tasty and a huge choice for organic and gluten free food ! However, it is pretty pricey and I end up spending a lot for a small amount of food. Also, the shopping carts don't work on paved road so you can't take it to your car. It is not convenient at all when you park far, due to the limited amount of parking spots. Tip: go on Sunday after 7pm, parking pretty empty and supermarket as well ! Best moment. read more
