Went to Flanigans last night. Didn't have a reservation and was told a 30min wait. Asked if bar…read morewas open to hang out? Told yes give us your number and we'll text you. Long story short....59mi. Later I walk back to host desk and ask what the deal was? Told they sent me a text 29 min ago. I pull out my phone, show text messages, no text . I tell them I ordered already at the bar. They apologize and say we can seat you do you want that I say yes. Get a table next to bar. Food finally comes(Texas Burger). It's dropped off and I never see a server again. Burger was good fries were stale. My table ketchup was totally empty btw, had to get one myself. Have to find server for my bill so I can pay it and when it comes it's$102.00! (Correct amount should have been $24& change) I ordered one drink and a burger. Bar lady says, " all I did was transfer the table to your tab." (Apparently, someone walked out w/o paying? ) She's says she needs to go talk to the manager(Curtis). Nearly 10min go by and "Curtis" comes to my table. He tells me he reversed the charges and it's back on my card and I'm only being charged for the correct amount. I say, Listen, I'm not really happy right now. First, I'm told a 30min wait. 59min later no table. He says, "that's not true they should have said that they lied." You should have been seated. Then i tell him how disappointed I was with the service. He said, " I understand your frustration give us another try." That's it! I leave and go to my room 3 blocks away. I'm at my room and am so bothered by the encounter and his lack of customer service that I literally change into running shorts and run back there. (All he had to do was to say I'm sorry let me at least give you a dessert to go or take care of your drink. That would have spoken volumes but no! So I ran back with the sole intent of telling him I'm not ever coming back. I got there met with him and still had it in my mind that if young assistant manager said I'm sorry let me give you a drink coupon or dessert I would have let it go. But, no! All he could say was, "I'm sorry for your frustration", and some other words that sounded like blah blah blah from Charley Brown's teacher. Btw, my wife was in food service for 9yrs and my daughter has been in for 10 yrs and still is.

(Yeah didn't notice the sign on the door til much later!) We test that out buy placing an order to go along with the breakfast that we were going to make the following day. I can't remember if it was $35 or $45 was the minimum for delivery but it worked perfect. The coolest thing was have someone at your airbnb with rum, cognac, champagne, juice, ice, mojito mix, and champagne! Yup said that twice! Best part no upcharge in the individual cost of liquor.
