The one woman I talked to over the phone had a horrible attitude, sounded like she was annoyed I asked her a question that would help save me a 25 min trip to find that they don't even sell this item. Dropped by during a visit to The Villages. I love Total Wine for their consistency. All of the stores are well stocked and they have good deals. This store was no exception. And the customer service is always great. This is just my personal opinion, and my experience the first time I ever went to one of the stores. Bait and switch on discounts. My wife and I were in there for the first time, and was shown some bottles of bourbon that had a white tag, & we were led to believe was 10% off. I bought two bottles. Upon checking out, they told me I had to join their club to get the discount. When I asked the manager why that wasn't explained to me she just ignored me and walked off. Any employee always tries to upsell, bottles $100 or more. This is just my experience in my opinion of my first visit. Other people may enjoy the experience. Start carrying kegs in your locations that you advertise! I bought a $1000 kegerator and Total Wine can't keep it stocked! I've had a keg on order for three weeks and they keep kicking the can down the road because they can't fill the order! If it wasn't advertised as one of items you can get, I wouldn't expect it! I've been told for two and a half weeks, it will be in Thursday than Tuesday then, it shows being shipped to Sunday January 5th it has not shipped! At first, we were lost and couldn't find the store. Our GPS took us somewhere where TW&M was not. So, I called to ask what other stores were around. Whoever answered was very friendly and gave a very clear description. They are behind Miller's Ale House, if you don't already know. We were a part of the days-long grand opening rush and the staff handled it expertly. The store is laid out nicely and the wine regions / varietals are well-marked. What stood out to me the most was the vast selection and the unbeatable prices. I was so thrilled to see one of my favorite breweries form Belgium with many options as well as the wine selection. It was exciting to see many of the vineyards we visited during our stay in France. Definitely take the time to sign up for their rewards program, we are already racking up the points! read more

I stopped off at my local liquor store because the previous night at dinner I had had a lovely Malbec that I wanted to have at home. My local store didn't have it so I took a little longer ride to Total Wines. The place is beautiful to walk into. It's like Disney for wine lovers. A young lady helped me find the label I was looking for and she said if you like that, you should really try this one also. So I brought both bottles, and she was right. Both are delicious. Best selections of wine, beer and liquors in the Ocala/Villages area. Best pricing too. There are regular tastings and specials. Excellent customer service. It's a big roomy store with plenty of parking. About a 45 minute drive from Southwest Ocala where I live but worth the trip when you need to stock up or are looking for something special. read more

Last few minutes of one hour window of delivery, I was informed my order was canceled, via text, and to call if I hadn't made the cancellation myself. I called. First off let me start by saying that I absolutely love total wine stores everywhere, however this store seems to have a problem with me not wearing a mask and when I told the lady that I am medically exempt she still said that I had to put it on or leave the store. Recently chose to shop at this total wine due to my normal ABC being closed. As I roamed the isles I couldn't help but feel confused as I gazed into what was just a jumbled mess. Not only that, there was one gentleman that continued to follow me offering me cigars that I did not want. Total bummer. Heard so much about this store before they arrived. Heard they could get any spirit or beer if you wanted to order. Didn't have the scotch I wanted in stock so asked if they could order. They said no, and then urged me to purchase one of their brands. I guess they deal with certain distributors and their own brands. Then asked if they would order a specific beer (domestic) for me and was told they didn't do that. I use to love this place, but when I went there today, I was asked if I had a mask and I said no, I have been fully vaccinated, she said that doesn't matter it is the store policy that you wear a mask, she then went to her mask box pulled out a mask and gave it to me to put on. She wasn't wearing any gloves , no one knows if her hands or clean or not, for all I know she could have had a virus or bacteria on her hands and after handling the mask expected me to wear it. In addition I was returning to them an empty keg that I was required to put up a $30 deposit. She said do you have the receipt , I said no, wasn't aware it was required but this container has your label on it. She said she would give me my deposit back on a store gift card. Are you kidding me? I was required to put up a deposit to make sure that it was returned , now you gonna give me a gift card and that means I have to spend the deposit money with you. I said, Not Fair, the deposit was refundable, nothing was ever said that it had to go on a gift card that you can't spend anywhere except their store. I have learned that this business is not honest and I may have to re evaluate spending any more money with them. read more
