Over priced services for simple issues. Better off going to a hospital. This place is not recognized by many insurances.

I tried to get care, front desk staff was rude, curt and uncaring. They need to do and train better. Horrible.

PA, Nick was awesome. Best urgent care I have ever been to. He stitched me up and I barely felt it. Thank you all for an awesome job.

On my last visit, I dealt with a cold, awkward ER physician who leaned on the wall cornered with the door while I lay in bed facing the opposite direction of the room, I twisted my neck to talk to him, no, I don't have a very contagious disease. I was told to visit other hospital as I couldn't get any care on this one. I had excruciating pain in my mouth due to a cracked tooth. I was left there for an hour without care. I asked the nurse what was happening next and was told to go back in the room because they were busy. It did not appear busy with a lot of activity when I arrived, so I decided to leave to find ice at 7-11 to apply to my face. They attempted to charge me, my private insurance and the VA for "staying in the room". I will not continue to visit this hospital in the future, I don't recommend anyone to do so. Avoid an awful experience when dealing with an emergency, no need to be dismissed and mistreated; they totally lack empathy. It wouldn't surprise me they roll their eyes up when a patient arrived. I spoke to a representative to express my dissatisfaction, but I am yet to receive an apology for the way I was not treated.

This place deserves to be closed down and at the very least, all the staff properly retrained and replaced if they cannot meet standards. I thought going to the ER would be the best solution as I had just began Sertraline 3 days prior. I was having an adverse reaction. As soon as I got to the ER, barely could walk, Jose was at the reception desk. He asked me to tell him what was wrong and I told him I'm having some bad reactions to Sertraline and he immediately said "well the issue is the medicine and not what you're experiencing" which is not what I needed to hear at the time. I just needed to give my information and be seen as soon as possible. Once I finished, an hour or so went by and I was called back by the registration folks before going back for registration I was sent to a room with two nurses to explain what I was going through. I told them I believed I was experiencing seratonin syndrome and the short nurse with blonde hair immediately asked "did someone tell you about that or did you already know to look out for this" as if I had made myself believe I was experiencing this. Another nurse said "well do you want some anxiety medicine??" I had already been experiencing adverse reactions to the meds I was taking so I was scared to try the Hydroxyzine, which is what she was gonna give me. I asked her (and was crying) if it was going to have any bad reactions. She said, coldly, "well I don't know. Do you want it??" I got a prescription instead. She was supposed to give me one to try. Then I went back into the waiting room and was waiting to be called back. I noticed everyone had fluids except me. I asked Jose 3 times for an update on when I'd be called to the back for further examination. He kept saying "well they've been calling you and you haven't responded." He said they came out so much that they BOOTED ME OFF THE ER LIST when I was either in the back getting an X-ray, in the bathroom or in the back with registration. I threw a fit and was crying hysterically because I thought this was a place I could receive care and they forgot about me due to their lack of effort. I can still hear them call other names "Cook" "Brown" "Hernandez" but I never heard mine. Once I finally got fed up, I asked Jose "well can I at least use the bathroom?" And he gave me a kit and said "here. Just bring it back". Yall - they LOST MY URINE sample. He didn't LABEL it. He just left it on the side of him and didn't bother to notate that it was my sample. This was now around 3-4am and how do I know? Because at that point I was finally called to the back for blood draw and finally getting IV fluids. I was starving as I hadn't eaten in close to 24 hours. I kept asking Jose if I could eat. He didn't confirm until my third time asking. When I finally got called they asked me if I could give them a urine sample. Twice. I said "If one more person asks me that - who is keeping track of the samples? I left one already?" You want to know what they told me? "When night shift switches to day shift, sometimes things get lost in transition." The thing that got lost for me was my URINE SAMPLE. Dr. Adamson was the only approachable person outside of Inez. There was a young lady there, cancer survivor, who was there for a tooth infection. She cried because she saw how they treated me. This visit has traumatized me and I was told that I was 1 out of 2 people this happened to. Also, Jose only checked on people of Hispanic descent. I was not checked in on at all until I got my fluids. This visit has me second guessing my memory because of how I was treated. I have no idea how this facility has 4 stars and I would like to speak to an executive director of this hospital as I do not feel I should be financially responsible for this lack of care and traumatic experience if you all think this is the proper way to run an emergency room. You all have stripped me of my confidence in medical professionals.

Building is old and you can tell the money does not go back into it for repairs but a couple of weeks before my mom was discharged my mom was removed from an old room so that it could be fixed and was put into another old room and didn't get her room back. If you have an elderly that doesn't speak up for herself then she might not get the care she deserves BUT I repeat BUT when my 86 year old mother was transferred there from Encompass Rehab for nursing home care she could not do anything for herself and her memory was bad with a UTI on top of that. Arbrook Plaza instead in nursing home they placed her into their rehab section and they made sure she did not stay in bed all day like Encompass Health Rehab did which made her worse. BUT Arbrook Plaza motivated my mom to get up and go do physical therapy and take her showers.. she was there for about 6 weeks and we thought she would never come home. By the time she left Arbrook Plaza she could stand, transfer herself to the wheelchair (she is wheelchair bound) and scroll down the hall way. Now she is at home and is back to being herself along with memory. My brothers and I do not regret taking my mom there and they definately were a blessing to her and us. They will not give up on you family member. I saw how patients treat them and I give the employees all the praise because they deserve it.

Dr. Huynh evaluated me for a recent back injury that was causing severe pain. When I explained that lifting my leg caused pain, she continued lifting it higher until I screamed that it hurt. During our conversation, she repeatedly stretched her glove directly in front of her face, which made the interaction feel awkward and uncomfortable. I was also told I would receive a different prescription for pain management, but only over-the-counter medications were sent in. When I later spoke with the director, Dr. Lee, he explained that Dr. Huynh did not have prescription privileges in their system to prescribe anything stronger for my pain, which seems inadequate for patients seeking treatment at an ER. He also told me that if I wanted stronger pain medication, I would need to return to the ER and receive it only while there, as he would not prescribe even a short-term supply despite the injury being recent and until I could see a specialist for my back injury. Dr. Lee and I spoke for about 45 minutes while I advocated for better pain management, explaining that I was already taking over-the-counter medication in amounts similar to the higher doses he was recommending, without relief. After a long discussion, he finally agreed to prescribe a steroid, although I was surprised that a steroid injection for inflammation was never offered while I was at the ER. Unfortunately, the doctors at this facility were not very helpful in addressing or managing the painful condition I was experiencing from a recent back injury. Because of this experience, I'll now have to spend additional time and money seeking care at another hospital.

Nurses and doctors really listened and actually put you on individual meds after listening each day two or three times a day to different types of extreme sickness. I say individual care because my wife and I both went at the same time and our treatments were completely different. They do not use protocols like every other place uses. I have been to many Rehabs and hospitals and paid upwards of $80,000 to $100,000 in Michigan, Florida, San Diego and and Palm Springs, so extremely nice place and they all did and said the same thing. I was back using within a month. I went home after Trusted and though I used again it had nothing to do with what they did. I left after five days and felt as good as new. Didn't know that was possible. The only problem was IV, but that wasn't their fault I had used all my veins from heroin use. They even brought in an IV doctor to get my IV done correctly with an ultrasound machine. Been to over 40 hospitals and rehabs in my life this is the only one I would recommend.
